Working with them at my job, I’ve notice a trend of millennials and young folks smelling awefull. In conversations when I ask in a round about way about showering and taking a bath, they pretty much say they do it every now and then or looking at it as some strange phenomenon! Even my nephew rarely takes baths and I have to get on him about it since he works in the public and deal with gasoline around him. What gives?

How would you react if you heard there was a sane man who hasn’t taken a bath for more than 13 years and is not smelling? Impossible, you might exclaim. may be odd, but it is true. Remodeling baths on a grand scale -- ripping out tubs and sinks, just Bath Crashers. Last time I was involved in something on this scale, I could go to Home Depot Expo to see baths and kitchens galore. The design experts helped us come up with a plan and assisted us in our choices. Apparently, they have since closed all of their Expo Centers. We visited a place called Home Decor, I think, and they had a few model bathrooms that gave us some basic ideas. We also visited some model homes in new neighborhhods, and the baths looked great...

Horus is perched on my lap, purring softly and enjoying having his ears rubbed. He is feeling smug, having just won a face-off with Henry. They do that occasionally—just stand a few paces apart and stare at each other. This time, Henry was in his kennel; and Horus sat a few feet away, watching Henry. Henry gave several woofs of defeat, refusing to come out of his kennel while Horus sat so close. Henry shows weakness, and Horus takes advantage…a feline/canine lesson for the humans running our national security apparatus. Meanwhile, I notice Tiger trying to eat the blueberry waffles...

Ice baths 'more harm than good' for athletes By Martin Beckford Last Updated: 1:44am BST 11/07/2007 Athletes who take ice baths to prevent muscle soreness after exercise could be doing more harm than good, researchers said yesterday. Sportsmen believe that taking a freezing dip allows the body to get rid of lactic acid, which can cause pain. It was popularised by Paula Radcliffe, the marathon world record holder, who said taking a 10-minute ice bath after a race was "absolute agony" but claimed it helped her win gold in the 10,000m in the 2002 European championships. However, a study published...

A family brewery in the Czech Republic has opened the world’s first beer health centre in its cellar. The Chodovar Family brewery in Chodova Plana offers beer baths, beer massages and beer cosmetics. The cellar has seven huge Victorian style baths where visitors can swim in beer while enjoying a pint poured at a bathside bar. "Beer can treat a range of conditions, particularly skin conditions, and the health centre should appeal to men who are put off by 'posh' traditional spas. I have heard of some places in other countries where people can swim in beer but it's just...
