PUEBLO, Colo. -- A woman was a accused of giving a 5-month-old boy to a couple in exchange for a down payment on a used car, police said Tuesday. A tip led police Monday to Nicole Uribe, 23, who got a Dodge Intrepid as part of the deal with Jose-Juan Lerma, 47, and his wife, Irene, 27, authorities said. The baby was allegedly switched for $1,500, only $500 of which was for the down payment. The couple was arrested Tuesday.
