Best-Selling Novelist Arthur Hailey Dies By ADAM JANKIEWICZ, Associated Press Writer NASSAU, Bahamas - Arthur Hailey, the best-selling author who plucked characters from ordinary life and threw them into extraordinary ordeals, died in his home in the Bahamas, his wife said Thursday.
