Pima County Sheriff's investigators have charged three people with a May 30 home invasion that left a father and 9-year-old girl dead. Shawna Forde, Jason Eugene Bush and Albert Robert Gaxiola face murder, burglary and aggravated assault charges. Investigators say the suspects broke into a home in Arivaca, shooting and killing 29-year old Raul Flores and his daughter Brisenia. The child's mother was also wounded, but was able to return gunfire. Detectives believe the suspects were after money and drugs. Authorities say Raul Flores had drug connections. Investigators say Forde was the mastermind of the operation. She and Gaxiola are...

TUCSON - For the fourth straight summer, the humanitarian organization No More Deaths will have volunteers patrolling near Arivaca in southern Arizona hoping to prevent illegal immigrants from dying as they cross the desert. But they've added a few new wrinkles in their latest campaign to keep migrants alive. In recent years, Arizona has been the busiest point along the U.S.-Mexico border for illegal entry, and...

This morning Lee Rodgers, the morning host of conservative KSFO radio here in the SF BayArea, again cited a report of a suspicious Mexican Military Helicopter that had recently landed in Arivaca, AZ. A local rancher spoke with the Mexican officer who seemed very intent on investigating a nearby fuel truck, (perhaps to have his men drive it back over the border).Soon afterwards, the helicopter took off and flew southwards (presumably back over the Mexican border).Later, when the rancher spoke with US officials about the incursion, he was sternly told by the FBI to "keep his mouth shut" about it.Lee...
