Progressive Twitter users blasted "Squad" member Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., this week, after she endorsed President Joe Biden’s re-election bid. Leftists on the platform accused the lawmaker of selling out her progressive and anti-war values with her decision to support the second presidential term of the Democratic Party leader who recently just approved of providing controversial cluster bombs for Ukraine’s war effort. Critics accused the Congresswoman of "maliciously" selling out working class voters with the endorsement. Ocasio-Cortez officially endorsed Biden during the Thursday episode of "Pod Save America." When asked by the host if she would endorse Biden in a...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has endorsed President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign, sending a strong sign of Democratic unity from one of the party’s most liberal members. “I think he’s done quite well, given the limitations that we have,” Ocasio-Cortez said on the “Pod Save America” podcast Thursday. “I do think that there are ebbs and flows.” Ocasio-Cortez, a self-described democratic socialist from New York, has sometimes bucked Biden and the party’s leaders, including voting against the deal the president negotiated with Republicans in May to raise the nation’s debt ceiling and casting the lone Democratic vote against a spending bill...

Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said she's worried that President Joe Biden may derail a bipartisan push to address psychedelics due to his past rhetoric that questioned cannabis usage. "I am concerned about the president," Ocasio-Cortez of New York told The Washington Post's Ben Terris. Ocasio-Cortez said that her fears about Biden's approach to mind-altering drugs which have been gaining broader public acceptance are rooted in how he has talked about marijuana in the past. "I believe the president has displayed a regressiveness for cannabis policy," she said. "And if there's a regressiveness toward cannabis policy, it's likely to be worse...

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was “profoundly disrespectful” when disagreeing with fellow Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. Anchor Dana Bash said, “Thomas wrote, ‘Justice Jackson uses her broad observations about statistical relationships between race and select measures of health, wealth, and well-being to label all blacks as victims. Her desire to do so is unfathomable to me. It is an insult to individual achievement and cancerous to young minds seeking to push though barriers. Their race is not to blame for everything good or bad that happens in...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Sunday warned of an “authoritarian expansion of power” by the Supreme Court after it released several controversial opinions in it’s last week of the term. “The courts, if they were to proceed without any check on their power, without any balance on their power, then we will start to see an undemocratic and, frankly, dangerous authoritarian expansion of power in the Supreme Court,” Ocasio-Cortez said on CNN’s “State of the Union.’

It was the bombshell media story of the year when Fox News unceremoniously fired top-rated host Tucker Carlson in April. Making that Monday morning even nuttier was the fact that CNN’s Don Lemon was also shown the door after annoying virtually everyone—staff, executives, co-hosts, and even every woman over 40.Lemon’s firing was predictable, but Tucker’s came as a surprise, and speculation has abounded since on what caused the abrupt termination: was it part of the Dominion settlement? Was it related to a harassment suit (since dropped) by a former booker for the show? Was it because Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert...

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Wednesday pushed the Green New Deal on Twitter Wednesday in reaction to record-hot temperatures in Puerto Rico and wildfire smoke from Canada overwhelming U.S. East Coast cities, saying the world is "unprepared" for the "climate crisis." "Between NYC in wildfire smoke and this in PR, it bears repeating how unprepared we are for the climate crisis," the Democrat from New York stated Wednesday "We must adapt our food systems, energy grids, infrastructure, healthcare, etc ASAP to prepare for what’s to come and catch up to what is already here," she said.

It’s hilarious, and the Left can’t cope. Even NBC News devoted an article to a parody account on Twitter. If you haven’t seen it, please check it out, and if you’re on Twitter—give it a follow. The handle is @AOCPress, called “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Press Release (parody).” It’s riddled with non-stop hilarity, with some tweets that you have to do a double-take because it's content that you could see the real New York socialist parroting on the platform: [...] It's humor that the liberal cannot shake or understand because it exposes the absurdity of their politics. The account has blown up,...

A town hall meeting held by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in Queens on Friday night descended into farce as the firebrand was called a 'piece of sh*t' and berated for her views on Ukraine, migrants, drag queen story hours and the debt ceiling. The meeting was held in the Corona neighborhood, AOC's constituency. Her constituents were not in welcoming mood, especially when the town hall moved to to the question and answer stage. 'American citizens before migrants,' one heckler yelled. Others chanted: 'America first.' Another shouted: 'We are on the verge of nuclear war with Russia. Are you going to stop...

A Memorial Day weekend town hall with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) devolved into pandemonium Friday night as the crowd booed and shouted insults while she attempted to discuss her policies on immigration, Ukraine funding, and the debt limit. The event took place in the Queens neighborhood of Corona and the venue appeared to be packed with constituents. Some in the stands held signs proclaiming, “America First,” and “Stop funding Ukraine.” AOC attempted to discuss the debt limit before being shouted down: “We should eliminate the debt limit in the United States because of the constitutional…” One man yelled “American citizens...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., invited her colleague from across the aisle in Congress, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, to educate Twitter users on the history of America's diametrically opposed political parties, and his answer is unlikely what she expected. **SNIP** AOC inserted herself into the dialog by saying, "Why don’t you go ahead and tell people what happened to the parties after that, Ted." Cruz took her up on the offer and responded in a tweet thread, saying, "Sure. – First, the Dem party founded the KKK. – Then the Dem party wrote Jim Crow laws. – Then the Dem party...

Democrats, at least in the recent past, could be counted on express umbrage when their political opponents called them 'communists.' After all, communism has led to the deaths of hundreds of millions of people; a vile '-ology' comparable to Naziism in its totalitarian ideal. Get a load of how sensitive they used to be, as recently as 2022, in this New York magazine piece by Ed Kilgore:The day after the 2020 vice-presidential debate between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris, then-President Donald Trump did something that is hard to do: He actually shocked me with intemperate language, in this case referring...
