Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is rubbing voters the wrong way: poll By Mark Moore March 28, 2019 | 2:58pm | Updated March 28, 2019 | 3:27pm Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appears to be rubbing voters the wrong way — if they’ve heard of her at all — with 36 percent of respondents in a new poll saying they have a negative opinion of her. A Quinnipiac University survey released Thursday found that 23 percent gave her a favorable rating, but 38 percent said they didn’t know enough about the progressive politician to form an opinion about her — despite her being on the...

It’s been a few days since I even thought about our little green weenie let alone mentioned her and I was beginning to have AOC withdrawal. Sort of like a day without whatever anti-sunshine would be. Cloudy with a chance of thunderSo while our country remains under siege by lawless invaders because Democrats think no person is illegal, which followed to its reasonable conclusion would let everyone out of prison, let’s focus instead on the silly little girl who somehow got elected to Congress. Because electing people like her is precisely why we are currently being invaded. So, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, she...

WASHINGTON — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday she no longer suffers from “imposter syndrome” after hearing Republican Sen. Mike Lee’s pronouncement that “babies” are the solution to climate change. “Like many other women + working people, I occasionally suffer from imposter syndrome: those small moments, especially on hard days, where you wonder if the haters are right,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Tuesday. Impostor syndrome leaves a person doubting their accomplishments and feeling like a fraud. “But then they do things like this to clear it right up,” the New York Democrat continued. “If this guy can be [a] Senator, you can do...

The Senate crushed the Green New Deal on Tuesday with a 0-57 vote against the resolution, with three Democrats and one Independent voting “no” and 43 Democrats voting “present.” Democrats tried to spin the resolution’s failure into a win for the radical proposal, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who introduced it last month and took credit for Democrats not voting in favor of the measure.

Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed on Tuesday not a single Senate Democrat voted in favor of the Green New Deal because she asked them to vote “present.” “Because I encouraged them to vote present, along w/ others,” Ocasio-Cortez responded when Republican Wyoming Sen. John Barrasso asked her why Democrats ducked going on the Senate record in support of her radical anti-climate change resolution. The New York congresswoman’s response came only hours after the Senate voted 57-to-0 to kill the Green New Deal, which was introduced by Ocasio-Cortez and Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey. Three Democrats voted against the...

My instinct is to finish that headline with “And then I know for sure that I’m unfit,†but no, that’s not her point. A sitting member of Congress who somehow has zero idea of what we spend on national defense wants to have a test o’ fitness with, of all people, Mike Lee. Like many other women + working people, I occasionally suffer from impostor syndrome: those small moments, especially on hard days, where you wonder if the haters are right. But then they do things like this to clear it right up.If this guy can be Senator, you can...

he Green New Deal, a sweeping Democratic proposal for dealing with climate change, fell at the first hurdle Tuesday as the Senate failed to reach the 60 votes necessary to begin debate on the non-binding resolution, with 42 Democrats and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., voting "present." No senator voted to begin debate on the legislation, while 57 lawmakers voted against breaking the filibuster. Democratic Sens. Doug Jones of Alabama, Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona joined 53 Republicans in voting "no." Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, who caucuses with the Democrats, also voted "no." The vote had...

Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang criticized the media Monday for its coverage of President Trump, saying that it has failed to explain his appeal. "I would say I think our media has done us a disservice by overly simplifying why Donald Trump is our president today,” Yang said at a rally in Chicago. Yang said that the media was wrong to blame Trump's election on racism, Russia, ignorance, immigration, Facebook, or the FBI, among other narratives. “The reason Donald Trump is our president today is we automated away 4 million manufacturing jobs,” he said. Yang, whose upstart campaign has recently...

Utah's Mike Lee took 14 minutes to dispute the premise behind the Green New Deal with large posters and a great deal of foolishness. Also, he speaks Cow.

Senate Leader Pro Tem Ted Cruz let's Mike Lee orate about the features and benefits of Democrat Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's ambitious proposal, the Green New Deal. Lee's brilliant, at times humorous retort to the illustrious congress critter's theme legislation is indeed a treat for the conscious. A Bronx Republican who blames Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for scuttling the Amazon deal says she plans to run against the Democrat next year as a pro-jobs candidate. “She chose ideology over paychecks,” said Ruth Papazian, noting that Amazon vowed to create 25,000 jobs before pulling out of its deal to open a campus in Queens. “People need jobs. We don’t have economic diversity in the outer boroughs.” Papazian, 61, a lifelong Bronx resident and medical journalist, has met with GOP officials who have encouraged her to enter what would be an uphill race. A daughter of Egyptian immigrants, Papazian said...

Cocaine Mitch is riding the range again. We’re preparing for a Senate vote today on the Green New Deal, but there’s a significant glitch in the program. The party of the members who crafted the bill in both chambers is planning on blocking the proceedings. Can we all just agree that this is getting a bit… awkward? (CNN) The Senate will vote Tuesday to take up the Green New Deal, the progressives’ prescription to battle climate change, but it is expected to be blocked by Democrats, who support many of the ideas in the plan but believe Republicans are...

AOC, as she is commonly called in the media, said in an interview with the New York Daily News that she has been the target of death threats, which she says come as a result of “right-wing” news coverage. The recently minted congress member said in the interview that she receives calls at her office “every day” from people who say they would like to see her dead. “It’s very clear that when right-wing media starts to heat up, that’s directly correlated to the amount of violent targeted threats we get,” said Ocasio-Cortez in the interview. “There’s clearly a correlation...

New York Democratic Rep. José E. Serrano announced Monday that he has Parkinson’s disease and will not seek re-election in 2020. The 75-year-old said he plans to finish his current term, which is his 15th full one in Congress, as the disease has not yet impacted his ability to work. “Today, I am announcing that I am living with Parkinson’s disease,” Serrano said in a statement. “After my diagnosis, I initially planned to continue my work representing the people of the South Bronx far into the future — a responsibility that brings me great joy."

There is a lot more to this video than just something about AOC. It's about the brains behind the whole New Congress/ Justice Democrats movement that elected AOC, Tlaib, Omar and the rest. The "brain" is Zack Exley, who has managed to stay out of the spotlight. Zack and his comrades. What they have managed to do is identify and exploit a weakness in our nominating process. They pose a serious threat to American elections. And they plan to do to Republican districts what they did to Democrats this last time.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez starred in a Jackson Heights town hall meeting on Saturday. While it was formally organized by Jackson Heights People for Public Schools, AOC was the highlight and the reason most attendees showed up. As expected, many radical progressive proposals were presented, e.g., stop suspensions, eliminate standardized testing, remove white teachers, but for the most part, they were not proposed by Ocasio-Cortez. At the meeting, speaking about her own education, Ocasio-Cortez recounted that when she was about to start school at the age of five, her family decided the schools in her Bronx neighborhood were bad and they did...

About a year and a half ago, on Sept. 18, 2017, a relatively unknown Minnesota state representative flew to New York City to hold a closed-door meeting with the president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was in town for the 72nd U.N. General Assembly. This meeting of now-Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., with Mr. Erdogan, the despotic ruler of Turkey, went almost entirely unreported, as it was not open to the press and Omar was not a high-profile figure. Since then, photos of the meeting surfaced on social media, but it largely appeared that there was no report detailing what...

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., appeared on a late-night comedy talk show Thursday night but was stone-cold serious in her defense of the Green New Deal, the cornerstone of her progressive agenda. When asked by “Late Night” host Seth Meyers if President Trump’s claims that “cows farting” and “hamburgers” would be outlawed were true, Ocasio-Cortez firmly answered “No.” “I think it’s good to see how these narratives are manipulated," Ocasio-Cortez said, "because they’re trying to say that the Green New Deal is about what we have to give up, what we have to cut back on, when in fact the...
