WASHINGTON — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday she no longer suffers from “imposter syndrome” after hearing Republican Sen. Mike Lee’s pronouncement that “babies” are the solution to climate change.
“Like many other women + working people, I occasionally suffer from imposter syndrome: those small moments, especially on hard days, where you wonder if the haters are right,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Tuesday.
Impostor syndrome leaves a person doubting their accomplishments and feeling like a fraud.
“But then they do things like this to clear it right up,” the New York Democrat continued.
“If this guy can be [a] Senator, you can do anything,” she added.
