STILLWATER, Okla. — Members of the FarmHouse fraternity at Oklahoma State University woke up to a shocking sight Friday morning. Outside the fraternity on Monroe Street laid a dead longhorn. The animal's stomach is cut up the middle, with a vulgar branding or marking aimed at the fraternity. The incident could be a prank between fraternities, or it could be in reference to the Big 12 Championship game between the University of Texas and OSU on Saturday. 2 News spoke with Stillwater police as they investigate the crime. A spokesman with SPD said a caller reported the dead cow around...

An otter with dreams of being a surf champion shocked Santa Cruz beach-goers when it swam right up to a group of surfers, picked out a board and went for a ride. The incredibly anthropomorphic encounter happened on Sunday at Cowell Beach near the boardwalk. Mark Woodward, who goes by Native Santa Cruz on Twitter, posted photos and video of the moment. Woodward wrote that the otter sniffed around a number of boards before settling on its favorite, a blue one. Advertisement “He was going from board to board and seemed calm and friendly even as he was a few...

One of the five Memphis officers charged with the murder of Tyre Nichols was the president of the Mississippi branch of a scandal-ridden fraternity. Tadarrius Bean, 24, who was fired over his role in Nichols' brutal beating, served as the head of the Omega Psi Phi's Eta Zeta chapter at the University of Mississippi, according to his LinkedIn. Although the fraternity boasts its more than 100 year history as a haven for black college students, it has been at the center of several hazing incidents in recent years. One chapter in Virginia was suspended after members were found beaten and...

Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., wouldn't commit to throwing her weight behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis if he were the GOP presidential candidate in 2024 because of his similarities to former President Donald Trump. "I think that Ron DeSantis has lined himself up almost entirely with Donald Trump, and I think that’s very dangerous," Cheney said during an interview at a house party last week, according to the New York Times. Cheney, who faces an uphill climb to keep her seat in Congress during next week's Wyoming primary election, said she "would find it very difficult" to support DeSantis in a...

Two frat boys from the University of Missouri have been charged in connection with a 19-year-old at the school who was left blind and unable to walk or talk after being forced to down a family-sized bottle of Tito's vodka. Ryan Delanty and Thomas Shultz were indicted Friday in Missouri's Boone County in connection with the treatment of Daniel Santulli, a teenager whose family say was forced to drink until his heart stopped last October during pledge month at Phi Gamma Delta. Shultz is facing an additional felony charge of tampering with physical evidence. He has been left permanently and...

Actor Tim Matheson took a not-so-subtle swipe at former First Lady Melania Trump while praising her successor Dr. Jill Biden in a now-deleted tweet. Following the backlash that took place after members of the National Guard were sent out of the Capitol building and into a cold parking lot, the first lady appeared for a photo op with a group of them while carrying baskets of candy. The "National Lampoon's Animal House" star reacted to the gesture by complimenting Biden, which included an indirect jab at her predecessor. "So wonderful to have a First Lady with class and heart. And,...

Last day of boarding school, when I was a senior there was a rumor of a food fight on the last day of school. It only took one tater tot tossed and it was on. We are all the there right now, we have egg on our face because they tricked us, they played us, they even got us to adore those we thought, believed; were putting up the hard fight. Only to be snookered. It sucks! What is the good of this @$## show? They are all exposed, as Trump walks out the door, he has already thrown the...

A man sets himself on fire Wednesday on the Ellipse in downtown Washington, across from the White House, the Secret Service said. A spokesman for the Washington Fire Department tells CNBC, “I can confirm that we’ve transported one patient with burns from the Ellipse and we’re now on the scene assisting law enforcement,” referring to Park Police and U.S. Secret Service officers. Alina Berzins says she was visiting the National Mall with two of her cousins from Bolivia when “we saw this man” on the Ellipse and “he starts running, and then we saw him covered in flames.”

In a filing last week, Dubelier referenced “Animal House” and said, “The Special Counsel’s argument is reminiscent of Otter’s famous line, ‘Flounder, you can’t spend your whole life worrying about your mistakes! You f---ed up . . . you trusted us. Hey, make the best of it.’” In court Monday, Dubelier responded by saying the judge had a "bias" against him and said he would need to consult with his client to see if he should stay on the case. When Concord Management pleaded not guilty in May, Dubelier said in court, “The government has indicted the proverbial Ham sandwich.”

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh warned his friends that they might be evicted from the beachfront condo they rented in 1983, and wrote details alluding to the events that were expected to take place there, in a letter obtained by The New York Times. "Our problem down there might be too many people," Kavanaugh wrote in the letter. "We're going to have to decide while we are there who we want and don't want ... If half of Gonzaga/St. Johns starts coming, we might have to give the boot or else we might get it ourselves." "The danger of eviction...

From the “Liberals Spoil Everything” department, where everything is a problem, here’s Vice writer Harry Cheadle: “Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of 'Animal House' by Tossing It in the Trash -- Drunken frat boys don't seem so charming anymore, and the film's gender politics are 'xxxxx'd' beyond repair.” From his 2018 perch, Cheadle tears into the offensive, vulgar, and extremely hilarious college comedy hit for its lack of wokeness: It’s difficult to imagine what it was like when Animal House dropped into theaters on July 28, 1978, exactly 40 years ago. It landed like the opening of a revolution and spread...

Millions of years ago, a wolf-sized otter swam around ancient swampy China, scientists have discovered. The huge otter would have weighed about 110 pounds, and lived about 6.24 million years ago, according to a new report. The fossilized remains of this now-extinct ancient otter— one of the largest otters known— were discovered in a mine in China’s Yunnan Province, and part of what makes it remarkable is that the find included a nearly-complete cranium.

Fact: Democrats, Obama, Clinton, Schumer, Durbin, Hoyer, Pelosi, etc., have given tons of "BS" lip service to Latina, Hispanic, DACA "Kids", but have given them "ZERO" in results. Just like the famed movie, "Animal House", where "Flounder's" brother's mean ride (car) got all smashed up in the boys frolics, with the ladies. "Flounder" laments after the episode, stating, "What I am going to tell my brother, when he sees his car ruined and wrecked. And, the "Animal House" boys retort, "Flounder you screwed up...you trusted us...I suggest you start drinking heavily"!!! That folks, is one of many classic lines of...

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Just days ago, the nearly 1,300-pound, powerful jumping horse with a shiny chestnut coat named Phedras de Blondel arrived at his new home in the U.S., a farm owned by a champion rider in Florida. On Sunday morning, his owner discovered a horrific scene near his stall: the 12-year-old gelding had been slaughtered and butchered, most likely for his meat. Only his head and neck were left intact. Now, detectives are trying to find the perpetrators. “What they did to this horse had nothing to do with his value,” Debbie Stephens, who owns the 27-acre...

WOUNDED DEER, Massachusetts – Emily Dickinson College sophomore Fawn Liebowitz died suddenly last week in a kiln explosion on campus. Liebowitz, 20, a sociology major from Fort Wayne, Indiana, was tragically killed while firing a pot in the new kiln in Sylvia Plath Hall. “Messy” was how Wounded Deer Fire Chief Michael Redman described the scene of the accident. “It was hard to tell the pot shards from the body parts,” said the pyrodefense professional. “She just blew like a frog sucking on a cherry bomb,” Redman added. The cleanup of Plath Hall has been further complicated by a thin...

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 35 years since this smash-hit frathouse comedy was first released. Amazingly enough, Animal House only received mixed reviews when it came out—though both Time magazine and Roger Ebert named it one of the best movies of 1978. Critics didn’t really matter, though, since the film grossed well over $100 million, making it the third-biggest of the year, behind only Grease and Superman.

Remember when President Obama promised that under his healthcare reform plan, you'd be able to keep your doctor if you wanted to? At Wednesday's AFL-CIO meeting, IBEW President Edwin D. Hill said Obama broke this promise, and that ObamaCare "will devastate a successful part of healthcare."
