The Pioneer Press reports that the Ramsey County, Minnesota, Sheriff's office investigated an anarchist group that was considering kidnapping delegates to the Republican Party's convention in St. Paul. The would-be terrorists, who called themselves the "Republican National Convention Welcoming Committee," planned to shut down the convention. The group bears a striking resemblance to the Weathermen, a violent terrorist group founded by Barack Obama's unrepentant terrorist associate William Ayers. According to the news report: # The self-described anarchist group - whose main goal was to "crash" the Republican National Convention," according to its Web site - traveled to or communicated with...

From Democracy Now! website: ST. PAUL--Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman and producers Sharif Abdel Kouddous and Nicole Salazar have all been released from police custody in St. Paul following their illegal arrest by Minneapolis Police on Monday afternoon. All three were violently manhandled by law enforcement officers. Abdel Kouddous was slammed against a wall and the ground, leaving his arms scraped and bloodied. He sustained other injuries to his chest and back. Salazar’s violent arrest by baton-wielding officers, during which she was slammed to the ground while yelling, “I’m Press! Press!,” resulted in her nose bleeding, as well as causing...

It would appear "Do you know who I am?" didn't work this time. According to the Democracy Now! website, Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman was unlawfully arrested in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota at approximately 5 p.m. local time. Police violently manhandled Goodman, yanking her arm, as they arrested her. Poor thing. Every criminal considers his or her own personal arrest as "unlawful". But just because you are AMY GOODMAN, doesn't mean you can obstruct the police in the performance of their duties, and then cry when you get "manhandled".

Obama's Amerikkka Corps is coming to your town. Barack Obama's campaign is mobilizing 3,600 volunteers for six weeks of political work in 17 states, calling the campaign jobs "Obama Organizing Fellowships," the Washington Post reports. In exchange for working on the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate's campaign, fellows are promised training in community organizing techniques, which is a euphemism for leftist political agitation. (Perhaps fellows will be instructed in the fine art of fraudulent voter registration ACORN-style.) As this month's Foundation Watch report on Obama's radical roots notes: Agitation is what Chicago-born Saul Alinsky (1909-1972), the father of community organizing, called...

Here's a fun exercise for conservatives: Spend some time just listening to your liberal friends. Don't bother to say anything at all. You'll be amazed. I've certainly been wowed every time I've tried it. Libs believe the darndest things. They're not as cute as the things kids come out with, but having millions of adults who are stuck in false beliefs puts our society at a lot greater risk. Among the pearls of political wisdom I picked up from ordinary, friendly, prosperous and apparently intelligent lib friends were the following: 1. Christians. Believing Christians are scary folks, sort of proto-fascists,...

On an almost daily basis, Amy Goodman continues to parade a string of poor, Black Americans on her show as victims. The motive is clear. People like Goodman, in their typical liberal superiority complex, feel like Black people will only get a fair shake if she cares for them, as an owner cares for their pets. I've used that analogy several times before. If your cat pees in the corner, most of us understand the cat really doesn't know any better. When Black people misbehave, according to liberals, they didn't know what they were doing. As Whoopi Goldberg recently said...

I am not a glutton for punishment. I watch portions of Free Speech TV's Democracy Now! because it's a part of my daily employment duties. You know, make sure it properly airs so the local libs don't go off in a conspiracy theory tirade. They know I work where I work, and are always suspicious I may be up to some funny business. But as a Black man, I am also disgusted on an almost daily basis by the parade of Black victims trotted out by hostess Amy Goodman. It's as if she considers herself this Great White Hope; the...

AMY GOODMAN: Jim Gilchrist, who was the speaker at the event, joins us now from Irvine, California. He is the founder of the Minuteman Project and the co-author of "Minutemen: The Battle to Secure America's Borders". Here in studio in New York, I’m joined by Karina Garcia. She is the political chair of the Chicano Caucus at Columbia University. Her group organized the protest outside the Minuteman event. We asked a representative from Columbia University to join us as well, but they declined our invitation. Let's start with Jim Gilchrist. Can you talk about why you came to Columbia and...

Liberal Air America radio host Mike Malloy had his show abruptly “terminated” on Wednesday, allegedly for financial reasons. The network is failing but there could be another factor behind the Malloy debacle. There is still fallout from Malloy’s recent decision to turn over two-and-a-half hours of his three hour show to a former associate of ex-con Lyndon LaRouche, a perennial candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination who campaigns against what he views as British and Zionist control of the U.S. political system. The LaRouche organization is frequently labeled as a cult. The former high-level LaRouche associate, Webster Griffin Tarpley, was...

In the performance of my daily work duties, I was watching some of Wednesday’s edition of Democracy Now! Now while this is one of my more painful duties, I often find myself stopping and watching out of sheer disgust and this was another of those instances. This Sunday night, HBO will be premiering the documentary "Baghdad ER" and DN hostess Amy Goodman’s demeanor during her interviews with the filmmakers and an Army doctor showed her contempt for our sons and daughters who were passing through the Baghdad hospital.

by Mark Finkelstein February 8, 2006 - 20:21. Hardball's screen graphic "Global Fury" presumably referred to the rioting over the Mohammed cartoons. But it might also have been a subliminally sardonic comment about Chris Matthews' guest, Amy Goodman, host of the far-left radio show "Democracy Now." If Hillary is an angry woman, perhaps she's taken lessons from Goodman. This is one angry lady. Goodman's explanation by way of a justification of the rioting? "This is about people feeling marginalized. This has to do with the war in Iraq, this has to do with 'the Occupation' [translation: Israel's claim to a...

In this war freedom should come first not after! In New Hampshire the Motto is Live free or Die! I don't need Bush spying on law abiding americans and taking our freedoms. Anyone who surrenders a square inch of freedom to the government in the name of saftey is a traitor and should be treated like one! Let the Bush Fashists all drop dead! Filthy Commys! LET FREEDOM RING!

This is mind-numbing: Revisiting the issue that helped spur her ouster from Congress three years ago, Rep. Cynthia McKinney led a Capitol Hill hearing Friday on whether the Bush administration was involved in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. The eight-hour hearing, timed to mark the first anniversary of the release of the Sept. 11 commission's report on the attacks, drew dozens of contrarians and conspiracy theorists who suggest President Bush purposely ignored warnings or may even have had a hand in the attack — claims participants said the commission ignored. That, in and of itself, is nothing unusual for...

I am doing one on the collapse of communism. Since you coservatives know alot about this, I was wondering if you could help me out. First Id like to know what communism is and how it is different from socialism? Second I would also like to know about why Russia collapsed. Third could you tell me why you refer to certain people...

AMY GOODMAN: I guess what surprised so many people when you sent out your letter, and now in your book, on Wesley Clark, I don’t think people were surprised that he ran for president, but that he’s called the anti-war worrier, that this is the man who said the rest of the world has got to get with us, this is the man who presided over the bombing of Yugoslavia. MICHAEL MOORE: Well, yeah, I put it in “Bowling for Columbine,” I’m so upset still about what happened in Kosovo, it’s in my movie. I found a way to work...

In June, Pacifica Radio's Los Angeles station, KPFK-FM, hosted a thirty-hour marathon of Dr. Kwaku Person-Lynn's anti-Semitic "Afrikan Mental Liberation Weekend." It was the first time this once-annual program appeared for almost a decade. It had been banned by station management in 1993, after a long, hard-fought pressure campaign to remove it. Afrikan Mental Liberation Weekend typically includes claims that the Jews disproportionately participated in the slave trade and persecuted blacks; in the past, he responded to criticism by calling the regional director of the Anti-Defamation League a "psychotic, idiotic, European Jew." He has regularly played tapes by Nation of...

A few weeks ago, Amy Goodman played master of ceremonies at a peace rally in Washington. Later that day, she attended a different antiwar protest, involving many of the same people, this time doing interviews for the show she hosts on Pacifica Radio -- and wound up getting arrested outside the White House.
