I just left a thread that dealt with the "Boomer Left," and I was thinking about some of the older people who influenced (manipulated in many ways) the Boomer Left. One of these was the "beat poet" Alan Ginsburg.I remember reading him quoted as saying something to the effect "We'll get you through your kids."Can anybody provide me with the actual quote, and when/where he said it.
