Police announced on Monday, Sept. 15, that a woman from Buffalo, New York was arrested and charged after allegedly using pepper spray on another customer last month at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Cheektowaga, NY. According to WVIB 4, Jnaya Johnson, 23, was charged with third-degree assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawfully possessing a noxious material. Although Johnson intended to target another adult woman with the chemical spray, a 3-month-old baby was accidentally exposed to the spray and had to be taken to the hospital for difficulty breathing.
