Turns out the president wasn't, in fact, referring to his own party.</p>

I can't wait to see Robert Gibbs walk this one back tomorrow. Surely, some able reporter will ask him to explain in more detail exactly who President Obama was referring to and what comment met the bar for "talk about me like a dog." Video is here.
