Liz Cheney, a former member of the partisan January 6 Committee, said Monday that she should not go to jail for allegedly destroying 117 of the panel’s files. President-elect Donald Trump accused members of the partisan panel on Sunday of destroying committee evidence that he said exonerated him from allegations of wrongdoing. The accusation came after Rep. Nearly 200 people were killed and hundreds were injured when powerful bombs exploded one after another in first class compartments of Mumbai's local trains on July 11. Senior intelligence officials say Tunda, 63, was hiding in Pakistan, pretending to be...

While most people around the world are allowed to openly mourn the loss of Pope John Paul II, we are reminded that the world's most populous country forbids Catholics to worship the Church in public. China did not send a delegation to the Vatican for the funeral. Catholics in China are forced to swear loyalty to the Communist Party rather than the Vatican: "We pray for him alone at home. It is impossible to do anything in public because the Communist Party will not allow it," says a woman identified only as Maria. "They restrict our activities. They won't let...
