Fox News host Bill O'Reilly gives President Obama high marks for fighting terrorism during his first 1,000 days in office, but a dismal and failing grade on managing the nation's economy. In his Friday night's "Talking Points Memo," O'Reilly offers a damning list of facts that "will take your breath away." I get a kick out of all these pronouncements that Barack Obama is doomed to be a one-term president. In fact, I’d put his odds of re-election at this point at roughly 2-1 in favor, for several reasons. One is history. In the second year of his presidency, Obama’s job approval rating is hovering in the high 40s. The most recent Rasmussen numbers have him at 49 percent approval, 50 percent disapproval. A milestone was marked in space Tuesday, the 1,000th consecutive day of people living and working aboard the International Space Station. Seven crews have lived on the Space Station, as it has dramatically grown in size and capabilities. Since the first crew arrived Nov. 2, 2000, the Station has grown into an unparalleled space laboratory whose size will eventually more than double.
