Speaking about Bonhoeffer to a reporter in 1970, Bethge said, “Americans make him a saint without seeing him as a man who had a dirty job to do.” Namely, plotting Hitler’s assassination and the overthrow of his tyrannical government. “Yes, he is a modern saint,” Bethge continued. “But it has little to do with the old idea of sanctity and purity. He was a man of action whose sharp theological insights and Christian responsibility compelled him to act decisively in the real world of dirt, difficulty and danger.” The primary weakness in Komarnicki’s depiction of Bonhoeffer is that, as played...

Something I learned on X, and confirmed. DOJ had a program where they would send people to threaten whites who had been the victims of an inter-racial attacks. Harmeet Dhillon and Trump ended this horrific and unlawful practice of harassment. ... But why just end the unlawful practice of harassment? Whoever came up with it, and all who worked within it need to be charged, fired, fined, and even some jail time…

Former South Carolina Lt. Gov. André Bauer (R) is suspending his Senate campaign that sought to primary Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), saying he doesn’t want to further contribute to division in the country. “But I believe now, more than ever, that in order for us to truly move forward, we must stop tearing one another down with lies and division,” he continued. “I cannot and will not be part of a political climate that rewards deception over honesty, or ambition over unity. God calls us to walk in truth, to speak life, and to be peacemakers—not power seekers.” Bauer said...

There was a kerfuffle a couple weeks ago involving criticism of Winston Churchill as a leader. I find it strange the way that conservative Americans treat Churchill as if he were one of the greatest American leaders, as the third in the sequence after Washington and Lincoln. I’m not the only person who’s noticed this. The academic Tanner Greer said, “The boomercon historical pantheon of heroes is something like this: Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul II, Winston Churchill, Abraham Lincoln. Your pick among Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton.” Without taking anything away from Churchill, this is...

Aaron Veckey, a former Border Patrol agent, shares the painful truth of his whistleblowing experience. Despite his efforts to expose violations within the agency, the very institution he trusted to uphold justice turned on him. Rather than investigating the corruption, the Office of Special Counsel targeted him instead. @JamesOKeefeIII adds, “When the system is more concerned with protecting its own than doing what's right, whistleblowers become the enemy.”

Karelina was arrested in February 2024 in Yekaterinburg after returning to Russia to visit her family. A Russian court convicted her of treason for donating just north of $50 to a U.S.-based Ukrainian charity, and she was sentenced to 12 years in prison. So she's now calling her own staffers racist and sexist? LOL. The NYP is reporting that staffers for Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett are BLASTING her for being a "diva" who mistreats staff and is "focused almost exclusively on being an influencer" instead of being a member of congress. "She is laying around her apartment, won’t come into the office" “I don’t want to hear Jasmine Crockett talk about helping black women when she just fired one for no reason!” “The only person that she thinks about and cares about is herself." "She doesn’t care about the local issues happening in...

“In most college classrooms,” wrote Alison King in a seminal 1993 article, “the professor lectures and the students listen and take notes. The professor is the central figure, the ‘sage on the stage,’ the one who has the knowledge and transmits that knowledge to the students. […] In this view of teaching and learning,” King argued, “students are passive learners rather than active ones.” And, she continued, “such a view is outdated and will not be effective for the twenty-first century.” Instead of the transmittal theory described above, King championed a constructivist theory of learning according to which “knowledge [is]...

Attorney General Pam Bondi has all but disappeared from Fox News in recent weeks, after being all over the network during the first few months of the Trump administration. Bondi’s last appearance as a guest on Fox News was with Sean Hannity on June 30th, days before her DOJ and the FBI released a joint memo concluding that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself and did not keep a “client list.” Bondi subsequently found herself on the receiving end of a firestorm of anger from the MAGA base, which had been assured by President Donald Trump, Bondi, and others in the administration...

A mouse study finds a gut “gatekeeper” that decides whether allergens can get through — and an existing drug that could block dangerous reactions before they start. In A Nutshell * In mice, a “gut gatekeeper” controls whether allergens can cross into the body and trigger a reaction. * The protective version of this gatekeeper is linked to a more active enzyme (DPEP1) that clears chemical signals which open the gut barrier. * Blocking those signals with an existing asthma drug (zileuton) stopped allergic reactions from oral exposure in mice. * While promising, the findings are in mice; human safety...

New evidence including emails, notes, and texts expose that they both worked in conjunction to target and prosecute President Trump. Take a wild guess who Bill Barr’s father, "Donald Barr," was close to and hired while he was Headmaster at the Dalton school? Jeffery Epstein. You just can't make this stuff up.

NEW DELHI, Aug 8 (Reuters) - New Delhi has put on hold its plans to procure new U.S. weapons and aircraft, according to three Indian officials familiar with the matter, in India's first concrete sign of discontent after tariffs imposed on its exports by President Donald Trump dragged ties to their lowest level in decades. India had been planning to send Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Washington in the coming weeks for an announcement on some of the purchases, but that trip has been cancelled, two of the people said. Trump on Aug. 6 imposed an additional 25% tariff on...

Strzok travelled to London 2 days after Crossfire Hurricane was open and 1 day before Obama met with Brennan and Comey to agree how to proceed on the Hillary Plan. Durham report shows that Strzok, Pientka, British intelligence officials and FBI's UK liaison knew straight away that Downer "tip" which was the pretext to open the investigation of the Trump campaign was rubbish. Peintka (SSA1) and Strzok knew it was rubbish, and admitted so in internal communications. Yet the FBI proceeded with it in furtherance of the Hillary plan with the full on investigation, on orders of Obama/Comey.

A whistleblower doctor and his wife took to X recently to slam a man who is angling to become President Trump’s chief prosecutor in the Southern District of Texas. Dr. Eithan Haim, a surgeon who blew the whistle on illegal child sex change surgeries at Texas Children’s Hospital, and his wife, Andrea, contend that Pearson did nothing to oppose or block their persecution at the hands of the Biden-appointed US Attorney and AUSA Tina Ansari, who later had to recuse herself from the case due to her family’s close ties to the hospital.

The Democratic Governor of the deep blue state of Connecticut got himself caught up in a major scandal after it was revealed that he had approved a $440,000 annual salary for a “good friend” that was fully funded by taxpayer dollars, going on to defend that friend despite accusations against him of using taxpayer money to cover “lavish meals,” which drew the ire of a Republican senator. For background, during a press conference in May 2025, State Sen. Stephen Harding (R-CT) called out his state’s Democratic Governor, Ned Lamont, for providing Terrence Cheng, chancellor of Connecticut State Colleges & Universities,...

The big Democratic guns are silent, so the NYC radical turns to a failed Massachusetts socialist. What happens when a political candidate attracts the support of his party’s most extreme officeholders but fails to secure the endorsements of the actual leaders of his own party, the ones who hold the most sway? That is the dilemma faced by New York City Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani. Though polling suggests the race is clearly his to lose, Mamdani has become a lightning rod for a party that has hit the skids. Looking for any port in a storm, he turned to Sen....
