Today, at the direction of President Donald J. Trump, the Administration is taking the biggest step in more than 30 years to protect taxpayer-funded benefits for American citizens — NOT illegal aliens. The move, which preserves roughly $40 billion in benefits for American citizens, overturns decades of bureaucratic defiance and builds on President Trump’s executive order directing an END to the subsidization of open borders.Under President Trump, hardworking Americans will no longer be forced to front the cost of benefits for illegals:The Department of Health and Human Services is restricting illegal aliens from 13 additional public programs, including Head Start,...

Seriously, what is it with New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman’s obsession with simping for Chinese communists just so he could “muh, get Trump?” Of course, he presents it the other way around in his July 3 screed: Trump is stupidly aiding the Chinese by being against "liberal" sources of energy. He’s doubling down on Beijing’s fake persona as the paragon of clean energy virtue to attack the green sludge subsidy cuts within President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill.” Trump not choosing to waste billions in U.S. tax dollars on climate hysteria hogwash was laughable. Then he spewed the one of...

US President Donald Trump has said Attorney General Pam Bondi should release "whatever she thinks is credible" on late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as he faces a rare backlash from supporters after seeking to draw a line under the case. Bondi has been lambasted by some of Trump's political base after her department recently said there was no evidence that Epstein kept a "client list". This appeared to contradict her previous statements, and those of other Trump allies who have previously called for the release of more information on Epstein. Trump also said on Tuesday he did not understand "what...

Javier Milei (pictured above) was elected President of Argentina in October 2023, and took office in December of that year. He promised large cuts to government spending, bureaucracy, and regulation as the means to revive a long moribund Argentine economy crippled by government over-spending, over-regulation, excess unionism, and corporate cronyism. But would Milei’s program work? I last wrote about Milei’s implementation of his program in this post in November 2024. That post reported that Milei had succeeded in putting through substantial cuts in government spending and bureaucracy, but that the economy had experienced a recession during his first year in...

He said: "For years, the broadcast media have pushed the narrative that mass migration is a net benefit. Skilled migrants, we have long been told, will assimilate, strengthen our economy and drive innovation. What we've...

France and Italy will not take part in a new NATO-led initiative to finance the delivery of U.S. weapons to Ukraine, Politico and La Stampa reported on July 16, citing undisclosed government officials in both countries. Under this scheme, NATO will purchase advanced arms from the U.S., including air defense systems, and deliver some of them to Ukraine. According to two French officials, France declined to...

-snip- Trump is a ‘realist’ Yet despite prominent figures within Mr Trump’s coalition warning against overseas military action, congressional Republicans warned that it was not always those who shouted loudest whose opinions carried weight with Mr Trump. “With this president, you are not going to win your policy debate in the media. The idea of loud people leading him is wrong,” a congressional source told The Telegraph. They added that Mr Trump is a “realist and a pragmatist”, which functions as an “ideological difference” from those on the isolationist wing of his party.
