Built by 30-year-old Italian mechanic Andrea Marazzi, the insane vehicle was put together using parts from an original 1993 Fiat Panda and was recently demonstrated at the 45th anniversary of the Panda in Pandino - a small town in Italy to the southeast of Milan. The car is so thin that it's impossible to even fit inside unless you happen to be relatively slim. While certainly helpful for fitting into tiny gaps, the car is a little on the unstable side, though it does at least take a bit more than just a stiff breeze to cause it to topple...

Williams & Combs allegedly generated fictitious names and other data they used to fill out Minnesota voter registration forms in 2021 and 2022. The charging documents filed last month say Williams provided the completed forms to an entity that sought to register voters in Minnesota, which is identified only...

"What's important is that I'm not the last African American fire chief." The Austin Firefighters Association intends to hold a vote of no confidence on Fire Chief Joel G. Baker over his failure to deploy advance teams to flood ravaged Kerr County ahead of the destruction. Now, it has been revealed that Baker, the first black fire chief in Austin, prioritized diversity goals shortly after coming onto the job. He's been accused of not deploying Austin's specialized teams ahead of the destruction, despite having been asked by the state to do so, because Texas was delayed in reimbursing the department...

The Department of Justice has launched criminal probes into former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey over their alleged roles in the Trump–Russia hoax, Fox News reported Monday evening. The FBI is looking into allegations of potential perjury and conspiracy against both men, according to Fox’s sources. CIA Director John Ratcliffe last week declassified a “lessons learned” review on the discredited 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) which alleged Russia sought to influence the 2016 presidential election to help then-candidate Donald Trump. The review found that the creation of the ICA was rushed and filled with “procedural...

Governments can’t change the weather, but they can invest in infrastructure that is better able to handle it. A 2024 report from the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Value of Water Campaign estimated that the country is billions of dollars short in investments needed to update water infrastructure for 21st-century needs, including a new normal of extreme rainfall events. You can see strong bipartisan support for trying to prevent flooding and address flooding among local and county elected officials. Defendant-Appellant Douglass Mackey (“Mackey”) appeals from a judgment of conviction entered on October 25, 2023 after a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York (Donnelly, J.). Mackey was convicted of conspiring to injure citizens in the exercise of their right to vote in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 241 based on three memes he posted or reposted on Twitter shortly before the 2016 presidential election. These memes falsely suggested that supporters of then-candidate Hillary Clinton could vote by text message. On appeal, Mackey argues, inter alia, that the evidence was insufficient to...
