During my law enforcement career, I never saw what one might reasonably describe as an obvious act of courage on the part of any attorney, prosecutor, or public defender. Their lives and jobs were insulated from the gritty reality of day-to-day police work. It was a reality they experienced from the comfort of office chairs and argued in climate-controlled, guarded courtrooms. Such was not the case for US Attorney John A Sarcone III of the Northern District of New York on June 17, 2025 in Albany, NY. Graphic: Saul Morales-Garcia. Albany County Sheriff's Office. “‘What man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!’” (Matthew 7:9–11). If we claim to be God’s children, we should be reflecting God’s character in our lives. Jesus here shows us something of what our heavenly Father’s love is like. Jesus...

Vladimir Putin today vowed to back Iran and condemned 'groundless' aggression against its ally after the U.S. joined Israel in striking nuclear facilities on Sunday. 'This is an absolutely unprovoked aggression against Iran,' Putin told Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who travelled to Moscow seeking support in mediation. Putin called recent strikes 'unjustified' and added that Russia was 'making efforts to provide assistance to the Iranian people.' Araghchi on Monday thanked Putin for condemning U.S. strikes on Iran, telling him Russia stood on 'the right side of history'.

Israel just used America’s successful strike on Iranian nuclear facilities to put the woke UK government in its place. U.S. President Donald Trump proved himself the leader of the free world Saturday, Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Gideon Sa’ar tweeted, urging Great Britain to follow America’s lead in opposing Iran’s mass murdering regime. Unfortunately, since the woke idiots destroying Britain are fully dedicated to importing antisemitic Muslims who hate Israel, and condemned Israel’s “escalation,” that probably won’t happen. ... In the UK, sad to say, Western civilization is rapidly dying, but hope reigns eternal. ... Israel cannot depend on Britain, but...

Iran is not only a threat to Israel, but a threat to our entire civilization. The hijab is mandatory for women in Iran. Where are the radical feminists when you need them? Perhaps they should spend less time trashing the West (and its men) and concentrate more on places that really do oppress women. But all that notwithstanding, the problems with Iran don't end there. Try peacefully protesting in that medieval theocracy. Jail, torture, and murder await those who oppose the mullahs. It gets worse. Iran is also a genocidal regime committed, by their own admission, to wiping out the...

Russia deeply regrets and condemns the U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, the Kremlin said on Monday. The U.S. actions had increased the number of participants in the conflict and ushered in a new spiral of escalation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. He added it was not yet clear what had happened to Iran's nuclear facilities and whether there was a radiation hazard. The situation on the ground in Iran after the strikes cannot fail to be a cause of concern, he said.

The Supreme Court sided Friday with oil companies seeking to challenge California’s electric vehicle regulations. In a 7-2 ruling, the court allowed energy producers to continue their lawsuit challenging the Environmental Protection Agency’s decision to approve California regulations that require manufacturing more electric vehicles. “The government generally may not target a business or industry through stringent and allegedly unlawful regulation, and then evade the resulting lawsuits by claiming that the targets of its regulation should be locked out of court as unaffected bystanders,” Justice Brett Kavanaugh wrote in the majority opinion. “In light of this Court’s precedents and the evidence...

From catch and release, to ending DNA testing to prevent child trafficking, Joe Biden's immigration failures were epic. Independence Day is approaching! It's time to start planning our celebrations. We'll be cranking up the barbecue grills, waving our American flags and anticipating parades and fireworks. Critics argue that this reflected a deliberate policy shift away from deterrent-focused measures. The Biden administration suggested that the surge resulted from global migration trends, regional instability and inherited challenges, not deliberate policy choices. The facts tend to support the former. So who do we invite over to celebrate the day with us? We could...

Iran's supreme leader sent his foreign minister to Moscow on Monday to ask President Vladimir Putin for more help from Russia after the biggest U.S. military action against the Islamic Republic since the 1979 revolution over the weekend. U.S. President Donald Trump and Israel have publicly speculated about killing Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and about regime change, a step Russia fears could sink the Middle East into the abyss. While Putin has condemned the Israeli strikes, he has yet to comment on the U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear sites though he last week called for calm and offered Moscow's...

President Trump's political operation has launched an aggressive effort to unseat Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, its first such effort to defeat a sitting Republican incumbent, Axios has learned. Why it matters: By going after Massie, Trump's team is looking to put wayward Republicans on notice that they're ready to play hardball. Massie has attacked Trump over his strike on Iran, saying on X that it was "not Constitutional," prompting the president to fire back on Truth Social that the congressman is "not MAGA." He also called Massie "weak, ineffective" and "disrespectful to our great military, and all that they stand...

There is an shocking amount of misinformation and misunderstanding going on right now regarding Iran and Israel, and what brought us to this situation. We need to unpack this and be brutally honest as this is much bigger than you think and affects literally the whole world. You need to sit down and read this the entire way through and share widely — because this affects your life whether you want to admit it or not.To understand what is going on, we need to go back 46 years, to 1979, when Ruholla Khomeini established the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) during...

@RepMTG My thoughts on bombing Iran. I don’t know anyone in America who has been the victim of a crime or killed by Iran, but I know many people who have been victims of crime committed by criminal illegal aliens or MURDERED by Cartel and Chinese fentanyl/drugs. Almost everyone in our country can relate to this fact. However America has not dropped bunker busters on the Cartel’s sophisticated drug tunnels, launched tomahawks on massive cartel poisonous drug operations, or gone to war against the cartels international terrorists networks. Neocon warmongers beat their drums of war and act like Billy badasses...

.. every objective metric, support for trans rights is worse now than it was six or seven years ago. And that’s not isolated to just trans issues. I think if you look across issues of gender right now, you have seen a regression. Marriage equality support is actually lower now than it was a couple of years ago in a recent poll. support that we saw for trans rights in 2016, 2017 — it was a mirage of support in some ways. Because I think, in the postmarriage world, there was a transfer of support from the L.G.B. to the...

Anderson Cooper and his CNN team were forced to evacuate live on air while broadcasting from Israel. The network star was discussing the ongoing conflict in the Middle East with the network's chief international correspondent, Clarissa Ward, and Jerusalem correspondent Jeremy Diamond, when sirens started to ring early Monday morning. 'I should just say that we're now hearing an alert,' Ward said as alarms blared in the background. Cooper informed the audience that they were all getting an alert saying Israeli forces expected a missile to hit their area in 10 minutes. 'So these are these are the alerts that...

The idea that Iran’s hostility toward Israel is driven by a “land dispute” is a gross oversimplification. Iran has no border with Israel, so the conflict has nothing to do with territorial claims. Instead, Iran’s animosity toward Israel is rooted in a deep ideological and religious hatred, one that spills over into its relationships with Palestinians. The issue isn’t about land—it’s about religious and ethnic bigotry. Iran’s obsession with destroying Israel and its treatment of Palestinians is more about an anti-Western, anti-Semitic agenda than any genuine desire to improve the lives of Arab Palestinians. Iran’s own behavior toward its Arab...
