SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco leaders gathered on the steps of City Hall on Friday to denounce a recent string of antisemitic attacks. Joining them were residents and business owners who have found themselves targeted.

Researchers have determined that a nearly five-inch-tall limestone figurine of a woman found by a farmer near the city of Kołobrzeg in 2022 dates to more than 6,000 years ago, according to a report in The Art Newspaper. The statuette was dubbed the "Venus of Kołobrzeg," a reference to similar Neolithic figurines with accentuated breasts unearthed throughout Europe that scholars believe were fertility symbols. The oldest known example, which was found in 2008 at southern Germany's Hohle Fels Cave, is some 40,000 years old. The Kołobrzeg Venus is the only such figurine discovered north of the Carpathian Mountains. Researchers noted...

Daily Readings from the USCCBJesus said to his disciples: “No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24Mammon is another word for money. Jesus is clear that you must choose to serve either God or money, but not both. A divided heart does not suffice. Saint John of the Cross, in His spiritual classic “Ascent to Mount Carmel,” explains something similar. He says that our desires must become completely purified to the point that all we desire...

It's amazing to watch and see him use the same tactics over and over and the retards on the left predictably losing their minds over and over as if on cue. The man is the maestro before a symphony of media. Playing them like it's Wagner. And since very few other world leaders are even comprehending what he's doing, he's rolling them in tariff negotiations. Big wins. Little wins. Incremental wins. Wins. It's Hamiltonian ideas painted by a pugilist. The man is inspired. He's right. And history will remember him more highly than most.

No sea creature inspires terror – rightly or wrongly – as much as the white shark does. With its sleek body optimized for hunting, razor sharp teeth, and its (somewhat undeserved) reputation for enjoying human flesh, the 'great' white (Carcharodon carcharias) is widely regarded as one of the ocean's top predators. And that's true, it is – but there's something even the great white fears. Watch the video below for a summary of the research that revealed a predator other predators fear:

She might be the She-Wolf of Wall Street. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-California) raked in between $7.8 and $42.5 million in 2024 — meaning her estimated net worth with venture capitalist hubby Paul Pelosi could now top out at $413 million, new financial disclosures showed. *** The former House Speaker, who’s so infamous for trading Missouri Rep. Josh Hawley named a bill after her, and her husband dumped 5,000 shares of Microsoft stock worth an estimated $2.2 million in July — one of their largest sales in three years — a few short months before the FTC announced an antitrust investigation...

My family has roots in the Iron Range in Minnesota, and I am actually a relative of another former resident, Bob Dylan, who, as far as I know, remains a believer in Jesus. Many of his songs are legends now. But his classic song contains this accurate message: The times, they are changing. Sometime in the last 25–30 years, the church took its attention off of the incredible message that the King is coming.

Dramatic revelations confirm that the launching of a full-scale military campaign against Iran was made "at the last possible moment" - under growing pressure from intelligence warnings. Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir addressed the Security Cabinet on the eve of the attack, presenting the final operational plans. Several cabinet members reportedly heard the details for the first time during that meeting.... Security officials estimate Iran currently possesses around 2,000 ballistic missiles capable of reaching Israel’s home front - a figure that could have doubled within a year due to Iran's accelerating production. Another major achievement has been the...

Rhode Island’s Democratic-controlled state House on Friday approved legislation that would ban the sale and manufacturing of many semiautomatic rifles commonly referred to as assault weapons. The proposal now heads to the desk of Democratic Gov. Dan McKee, who said in a post on the social platform X on Friday evening that he plans to sign the bill into law. If that happens, Rhode Island will join 10 states that have some sort of prohibition on high-powered firearms that were once banned nationwide and are now largely the weapon of choice among those responsible for most of the country’s devastating...

California can’t build housing or railroads on time or on budget—and thanks to a bloated, value-driven bureaucracy, neither can the rest of America. Just over two months ago, the Rand Corporation released a study on the cost of producing multi-family housing in three states: California, Colorado, and Texas. The results were paradoxically shocking, yet utterly predictable. California, it turns out, is a ridiculous place, run by ridiculous people, with ridiculous regulations. Or, as the folks at Rand put it, “The average market-rate apartment in California is roughly two and a half times the cost of a similar apartment constructed in...

“‘Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened’” (Matthew 7:7–8). Our heavenly Father is generous to us and promises we have access to His eternal and unlimited treasure to meet our own needs as well as the needs of others. Even when we have been cleansed of our own sin, we need divine wisdom to know how to help a brother remove the speck from his eye. God’s...

Much controversy has erupted over how certain WNBA players treat Caitlin Clark, a white athlete with the Indiana Fever, and many people are pointing to racism. But many people on the left insist that blacks can be prejudiced, but they can’t be racist. A former editorial editor at Harvard’s Crimson publication writes on the ideology here: As one African-American lead character from the 2014 movie ‘Dear White People’ argues, ‘Black people can’t be racist. Prejudiced, yes, but not racist. Racism describes a system of disadvantage based on race. Black people can’t be racists since we don’t stand to benefit from...

The escalating Iran-Israel confrontation is quickly reaching “the point of no return,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday and announced plans by Ankara to boost production of medium- and long-range missiles so no country dares attack Turkey, sparking fears of a regional arms race. “Unfortunately, the genocide in Gaza and the conflict with Iran are quickly reaching the point of no return. This madness must end as soon as possible,” Erdogan said, warning the consequences could affect the region, Europe and Asia “for many years.”

- Russian President Vladimir Putin quipped on Friday (June 20) that in his view the whole of Ukraine was "ours" and cautioned that advancing Russian forces could take the Ukrainian city of Sumy as part of a bid to carve out a buffer zone along the border. Putin, who ordered troops into Ukraine in 2022 after eight years of fighting in eastern Ukraine, also said he was not seeking the capitulation of Ukraine or denying Ukraine's sovereignty, but that Ukraine had to be neutral. Russia currently controls about a fifth of Ukraine, including Crimea, more than 99 per cent of...

How far has America fallen when the DOJ’s Civil Rights division files an amicus brief with the Supreme Court supporting the Second Amendment against Illinois, and that filing is unusual? How can it be that the DOJ defending a fundamental, unalienable, express constitutional right should be rare, so rare as to be surprising, even astonishing? If Democrats and their media propaganda arm are to be believed, Donald Trump is a dictator bent on destroying “our democracy.” Ironically, they’re right. He is determined to destroy “our—their—democracy,” which is a tyranny of the majority. That’s why Dems are so desperate to keep...

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed full confidence that Iran will emerge victorious amid rising tensions with Israel, calling the Netanyahu government the greatest threat to regional peace and stability. Speaking at an emergency summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Istanbul on Saturday, Erdogan likened Israel’s current actions to those of Nazi Germany under Hitler, warning that Tel Aviv’s policies are setting the region—and the world—on fire. “We are confident that victory will be on Iran’s side,” Erdogan said, adding that “just as the spark ignited by Hitler 90 years ago set the world ablaze, Netanyahu’s...

David Hogg has yet to bring home the bacon. Two months ago, the recently defenestrated Democratic National Committee vice chair ignited a firestorm among Democrats by vowing to deploy $20 million from his “grassroots” Leaders We Deserve PAC against incumbents in safe blue districts. But there’s just one small problem. Leaders We Deserve only has a measly $1.5 million cash on hand, far short of the promised $20 million it has committed to spend, according to Federal Election Commission records for the month of May. Worse yet, the PAC has never actually raised that kind of money in the two...

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko engaged in dialogue with U.S. special envoy Keith Kellogg, according to a report by the state news agency Belta on Saturday. The discussions between Lukashenko and Kellogg focused on the current global political landscape and the intricate bilateral relations shared by Belarus and the United States. This meeting underscores the continued diplomatic efforts aimed at addressing international issues and fostering cooperation between the two nations.
