Bill Clinton gave Donald Trump a free ad the other day when he hit the campaign trail in Georgia and declared that Laken Riley would still be alive if the illegal migrant who allegedly killed her had been “properly vetted.” The 78-year-old former president was trying to defend Kamala Harris’ record as the border czar, who presided over the invasion of more than 10 million illegal migrants. “You had a case in Georgia not very long ago . . . a young woman who had been killed by an immigrant,” Clinton said Sunday. “Well, if they’d all been properly vetted...

Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin has fallen behind Republican rival Eric Hovde for the first time in a new poll. It's just three weeks until the election on November 5, when voters will decide on the next president of the United States and the composition of the Senate. Baldwin and Hovde are vying for a seat in Wisconsin, one of the three crucial swing states, along with Michigan and Pennsylvania, that Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are working tirelessly to secure. Hovde, who is running on a campaign to "restore the American dream," has a one-point lead in a head-to-head ballot...

Fresh national polling shows swing-state voters are more likely to support Donald Trump than the overall population, offering some clarity on whether he can overcome Kamala Harris in three weeks. The Harvard-Harris survey conducted between Oct. 11 and 13 finds that while the vice president leads by a single point overall with the 2,596 likely voters polled, it’s a different matter with the 898 battleground voters in the seven states that will almost certainly decide the election. In Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, which together have a trove of 93 electoral votes, the former president is...

Senior Meta Engineer Reveals Anti-Kamala Posts Are "Automatically Demoted,” Admits Shadowbanning Tactics "Say your uncle in Ohio said something about Kamala Harris is unfit to be a president because she doesn't have a child, that kind of sh*t is automatically demoted,” reveals @Meta Senior Software Engineer, Jeevan Gyawali ( @JGyawali ), to an undercover @OKeefeMedia journalist during a hidden camera date. He confirmed, “The person would not be notified,” but would see a decline in their post engagement and impressions, explaining that Meta’s “Integrity Team” is responsible for controlling content through “civic classifiers,” a system that “shadowbans” posts without notifying...

There are three weeks until the presidential election, but the postmortem analyses have already begun. One of the most prominent diagnoses came from former President Barack Obama last Thursday. At a campaign stop in Pittsburgh, with its mix of blue-collar labor jobs and white-collar tech and medical careers, Obama addressed one of the biggest warning signs for Democrats: an enthusiasm gap, especially among Black men. Donald Trump, who has been running for the same office nearly nonstop since 2015, still has a base of energized voters so loyal they’d swim Pittsburgh’s frigid three rivers in January to get to the...

Strange things are afoot at the Marist Circle-K. On our earlier post on polling and trendlines, a couple of commenters pointed out that the RCP average lead for Kamala Harris increased slightly today after a couple of new national polls dropped. One of these, Marquette Law, shows the national race a dead heat at 50/50. The other, however, came from Marist and shows Harris with a five-point lead and a majority at 52/47. Their previous two iterations put Harris up by 2 at the end of September, and by one at the beginning of the same month:Harris (52%) leads Trump...

A secretive US spaceship will attempt flight maneuvers above Earth that have never before been performed. We are talking about the Boeing X-37, a reusable robotic spacecraft. The X-37 is boosted into space by a launch vehicle and re-enters Earth’s atmosphere landing as a spaceplane. The project began as a NASA project back in 1999, but it was transferred to the US Department of Defense in 2004. The X-37 is presently operated by the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, in collaboration with United States Space Force. It is used for ‘orbital spaceflight missions’ that are intended to...

Host of Fox News "Special Report" Bret Baier finally snagged that interview with Vice President and selected Democrat nominee Kamala Harris. Harris was campaigning in Washington Crossing, PA and was proud of the former Republicans and Trump administration people who took the stage with her and happy with their endorsement, delighted in their support of her as a presidential candidate. The entire interview was a train wreck, but there were particular moments that were exceptionally cringeworthy, damaging, and proved with glaring certainty why she is unfit to lead.Baier started off with the topic of illegal immigration, and you could visibly...

In a race too close for comfort, with everything on the line, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) delivered a masterful debate performance on Wednesday night. Facing off against Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX), the current senator pummelled his opponent on issue after issue. Allred wasn't ready for primetime, contradicting himself at multiple points and walking right into numerous receipt-laden traps set by Cruz. Cruz came into the debate planning to expose Allred for the radical he is, not the moderate he claims to be. I think it's safe to say he succeeded.Ted Cruz DEMOLISHES Colin Allred with his voting record in which...

Mavacamten has shown signs of reducing heart stress in patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) affects nearly half of all heart failure patients. It is characterized by the heart's inability to appropriately fill with blood. Patients with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) of 60% or greater make up 43% to 46% of those with HFpEF. These individuals often show a reduced response to standard heart failure treatments. Mavacamten is a cardiac myosin inhibitor already approved for treating hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and has demonstrated its ability to lower specific biomarkers in non-obstructive...

Today, U.S. military forces, including U.S. Air Force B-2 bombers, conducted precision strikes against five hardened underground weapons storage locations in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. U.S. forces targeted several of the Houthis' underground facilities housing various weapons components of types that the Houthis have used to target civilian and military vessels throughout the region. This was a unique demonstration of the United States' ability to target facilities that our adversaries seek to keep out of reach, no matter how deeply buried underground, hardened, or fortified. The employment of U.S. Air Force B-2 Spirit long-range stealth bombers demonstrate U.S. global strike...

Cutting-edge research has uncovered how chronic stress disrupts the balance of gut microbiota to speed up the progression of colorectal cancer (CRC), opening new avenues for CRC prevention and treatment. By eliminating certain gut bacteria and inducing stress, researchers were able to conclude a relationship between stress and gut microbiota in the progression of CRC, identifying a particular bacterial species as a potential therapeutic target. The findings showed chronic stress not only increased tumor growth but also reduced beneficial gut bacteria, particularly Lactobacillus genus, which are essential for a healthy immune response against cancer. Dr. Li noted, "Stress-related CRC progression...

em>Real Clear Investigations has caught the FBI manipulating crime statistics, stealthily changing the final stats for 2022 to show that crime went up that year—and not down, as the bureau originally reported. “When the FBI originally released the “final” crime data for 2022 in September 2023, it reported that the nation’s violent crime rate fell by 2.1% … But the FBI has quietly revised those numbers, releasing new data that shows violent crime increased in 2022 by 4.5%. The new data includes thousands more murders, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults,” RCI reported Wednesday.According to RCI, the updated data show that...

The percentage of Black students, currently around 5 percent, remained largely stagnant as Michigan’s overall enrollment rose — and in a state where 14 percent of residents are Black. Bright light therapy (BLT) is an effective adjunctive treatment for nonseasonal depressive disorder, according to a review. Artur Menegaz de Almeida and colleagues conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to examine the effectiveness of BLT as an adjunctive treatment for nonseasonal depressive disorders. Eleven unique trials were included, with data from 858 patients (75.6 percent females). The researchers found that the BLT group had significantly better remission and response rates (remission: 40.7 versus 23.5 percent [odds ratio, 2.42]; response: 60.4 versus 38.6 percent [odds ratio, 2.34]). Subgroup analysis based on follow-up times also showed better remission and response with BLT...
