God says “those who hate me love death” (Proverbs 8:36). Jesus said Satan is a “liar,” “deceiver,” and a “murderer.” But Albert Tate, pastor of Fellowship Church in Monrovia, CA, says that Christians are actually “Satanic” if they take a hard stance against abortion. WPC reports, “Tate says Christians who equivocate and prefer to tolerate the gruesome, systematic murder of unborn children are merely equal parts of the body of Christ, which must be accommodated and not corrected, according to 1 Corinthians 12.” “I feel like we got a lot of Satanic Christians,” Tate preaches in a May 2022 sermon....

For nearly six decades, the Dove Awards have claimed a central stage in the world of Christian music, lauding artists and performers for their accomplishments. Originating in 1969 as an initiative by the Gospel Music Association, the Dove Awards have closely mirrored secular events like the Grammy Awards in presentation and scope. Even its association with Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN)—a network that has faced its own litany of controversies, including the promulgation of heresies like the prosperity gospel—raises questions about the ceremony’s doctrinal grounding. Dressed in the veneer of Christianity, the Dove Awards make a desperate attempt to be like...

In a world where boundaries and definitions are stretched to unrecognizable limits, a congregation of ex-Mormons has outdone itself in an unprecedented display of spiritual anarchy. Stepping far away from previously blasphemous Mormon roots, they’ve founded a “church” where their sacrament is not the bread and wine symbolizing Christ’s sacrifice, but psychedelic mushrooms. Yes, you read that correctly. They call themselves the “Divine Assembly,” trading in pews and hymnals for bean bags and trip guides. These spiritual “adventurers” claim they are communing directly with the divine while they’re tripping, but the only thing they are communing with is the surreal...

Prominent speaker and theologian Rosaria Butterfield went on a polemical rampage against Andy Stanley’s infamously gay-affirming ‘Unconditional Conference’, joining Josh Daws on the The Great Awokening podcast to make her distaste known. Rosaria Butterfield is the author of The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert and The Gospel Comes With a House Key. She’s one of the main go-to people for Christian leaders to point to as an example of the power of the gospel on account of being a lesbian Women’s Studies professor who was saved and having her sexuality redeemed. She ultimately married a man, had a family...

A woman's fertility normally decreases by her late 30s with reproductive function eventually ceasing at menopause. It is known that a small molecule called nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) plays a critical role in this decline, and scientists have revealed how this happens and have identified potential new approaches to enhance reproductive longevity. NAD+, which is present in all cells throughout the human body, begins to decline with age and maintaining optimal levels is vital for key cellular functions and healthy aging, said Perrone. Recently, it became clear that the same decline was occurring in the ovaries, contributing to the natural...

A Texas church was recently awarded a "Millstone of the Month Award" by a nonprofit for founding a grant program by which minors can be transported out-of-state to obtain opposite-sex hormones or body-mutilating trans surgeries. U.S. Parents Involved in Education (USPIE) gave their Millstone of the Month Award in October to the leadership and congregation of Galileo Church in Fort Worth for exhibiting what they described as "blatant disregard of biblical principles and the welfare of confused children," according to a press release from the nonprofit earlier this week. USPIE describes their Millstone of the Month Award as "a monthly...

Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson has released preliminary findings from the state’s audit of Harris County’s November 2022 election. “Harris County clearly had multiple failures conducting the election and violated election law for estimating needed ballot paper,” said Secretary Nelson. “Mistakes like these led to a poorly executed election which left many Harris County residents frustrated and may have prevented them from voting. It is important to talk about these issues now in order to address them before the 2024 election cycle.” Nelson said the findings show problems with voter registration data, failure to provide necessary supplies to polling...

"Welcome! Today's service will be generated by artificial intelligence!" It may not be the most common way to greet a congregation, but that's precisely how one United Methodist church in Texas kicked off its AI-generated Sunday service last month. Jay Cooper, the pastor of Violet Crown City Church, an LGBT-affirming congregation of about 125 people in the North Austin area, said he decided to switch things up with the church's worship to reconnect and re-engage. "The idea to create an admittedly unorthodox AI-generated worship service came from my belief that the church should not only be aware of the most...

The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority is asking a federal judge to reverse a decision by the Biden administration to cancel oil and drilling leases in the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge area. The leases were approved by the Trump administration in January 2021 and canceled by the Biden administration last month. The AIDEA said in its lawsuit the cancellation of the seven leases is unlawful for several reasons. The leases are legal and Congressionally mandated, the agency said. The lawsuit said the Department of Interior did not allow AIDEA to correct any issues to keep the leases. "DOI’s unilateral...

I have no idea whether this report is accurate, but given the nature of events and revelations in the past several years – this seems plausible, possibly likely. In the aftermath of the 2020 election outcome, several people on the more libertarian/conservative side of the political spectrum, were concerned about being targeted by an Obama third term. As the rather revelatory story is told today, that provided the motive for Peter Thiel to cozy up to the FBI and avoid being a target.Business Insider is reporting that Billionaire PayPal founder Peter Thiel became a “confidential human source” for the FBI in...

Before kickoff, the sidelines at Colorado’s stadium are now the place to be seen. There’s rapper DaBaby hyping up the crowd. There are Sanders’ friends and fellow football Hall of Famers Terrell Owens, Warren Sapp, and Michael Irvin. Hey, that’s basketball Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett and future baseball Hall of Famer CC Sabathia and rapper Symba. The VIPs wear a special credential around their necks: Prime Passes, in the shape of the gold whistle Sanders uses in practice. Boulder County is 1.3% Black, yet as one sideline spectator observes, the scene “feels like Black Hollywood.” And what’s been happening...

The European Parliament on Thursday called for the Hamas terror group to be “eliminated” in a scathing rebuke of its devastating onslaught on southern Israel on October 7. In a non-binding resolution passed 500-21, the body demanded the “unconditional release” of hostages held in Gaza, blasting their kidnapping as a war crime while expressing sympathy for civilian victims on both sides of the conflict.

As the eco-protesters tried to halt the progress of the bus, the driver refused to stop, making those sitting on the ground have to move out of the way very quickly.

The White House confirmed that it had accidentally revealed the identities of several U.S. special forces members for the sake of posting a photograph on Instagram with President Joe Biden. “As soon as this was brought to our attention, we immediately deleted the photo," read a statement from the White House. "We regret the error and any issues this may have caused.” The photograph was posted Thursday as Biden visited Israel while the country conducted a military operation to root out terrorist Hamas forces in the Gaza Strip. "In Israel, President Biden met with first responders to thank them for...

Contrary to popular rhetoric, Europe is outpacing the United States in aid to Ukraine. The Kiel Institute, which closely tracks contributions, estimates total European commitments from member states and institutions as of July 2023 to be over $145 billion, nearly double the United States’ total bilateral commitment of almost $77 billion. This does not take into account any recent announcements, such as those made in the run-up to the October 11 Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting, with Germany just announcing a new aid package worth $1.1 billion.
