In a blow to the transparency of information and what could have been a treasure trove of evidence against a global sex trafficking ring, the Pentagon has announced the lost F-35 fighter jet was apparently carrying the only known copy of Jeffrey Epstein's client list.

The debt, which equals the amount of money borrowed by the federal government to cover operating expenses, hit $33.04 trillion Monday, according to the Treasury Department. A roughly 50% increase in federal spending between fiscal 2019 and fiscal 2021 contributed to the debt topping $33 trillion, the department said.

The United Nations is calling on the Taliban in Afghanistan to reform the way it treats prisoners, citing more than 1,600 human rights violations in a new report. Over half of the violations were instances of torture or other degrading treatment, the U.N. Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) report, released on Tuesday, said. “The personal accounts of beatings, electric shocks, water torture, and numerous other forms of cruel and degrading treatment, along with threats made against individuals and their families, are harrowing. Torture is forbidden in all circumstances,” U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said.

Less than an hour from the capital of the European Union, gangs fight gun battles in the streets or bomb each other’s outposts. Crime reporters, police and prosecutors are bought off or killed. Torture cells are set up in shipping containers and bodies can be cleanly disposed of, but when the gangs really want to send a message they set up a public execution or fire off a rocket. That’s the way things are done, not in Bogota or Beirut, but in Antwerp. Europe’s initial Islamic migration followed port cities. Among those leading port cities were Rotterdam and Antwerp which...

The idea of a “free media” is pretty much dead. The biggest problem is that right-wing media is simply banned, at a time when these left-wing groups are consolidating all control of media, with fewer and fewer people even having any input at all on what is said in the media. The only right-wing media that is even allowed is controlled opposition tripe like Ben Shapiro. I reckon that there absolutely has to be laws about foreign ownership of media, and there should really be laws about even out-of-state ownership of media. Why? Because nothing good can come from massive...

Following the embarrassment that was the 2022 election, in which Republicans managed to severely underperform despite having all the fundamentals in their favor, I asked one simple question: Are you tired of losing yet? Advertisement Ironically, some accused me of being too conservative when I predicted the GOP only getting to 235 seats in the House. Now, the Republican Party might end up with a majority far less than that. The Senate is pretty much a wasteland as well, with Mehmet Oz, despite a strong push down the stretch, not being able to overcome his unfavorables in Pennsylvania. Don Bolduc...

Donald Trump Jr.’s account on X was hacked early Wednesday, sending a series of offensive tweets — including a sickening one falsely announcing the death of his dad, former President Donald Trump. “I’m sad to announce, my father Donald Trump has passed away. I will be running for president in 2024,” read the first message from Don Jr.’s account, at 8:25 a.m. Proving he was still alive, the former president sent an unrelated message on his own X rival, Truth Social, at 8:46 a.m. — more than 20 minutes after the fake death announcement.

A political cartoon targeted at Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy's education agenda has piqued the interest of concerned parents across the state. The cartoon, commissioned by the Sussex County Republican Committee, depicts Murphy tearing a child away from his parents, while demon-looking aides poke him with needles and present him with a dress. The cartoon is captioned, "No Family is Safe from Phil Murphy's Sex Ed Mandates!" and comes on the heels of the state's controversial guidance that schools do not have to notify parents if students decide to change their gender identity. The Murphy administration said doing so would protect...

You can call it a “road diet,” or “15 days to stop the spread,” or a “fifteen minute city,” or a “smart city,” a “central bank digital currency,” or just an EV that comes with a virtual leash attached in the form of limited range and limited recharging options. Or you can be more explicit and just call any one of these examples an assault on your mobility, i.e., a lockdown. Whatever you want to call them, they’ve arrived, and it’s just begun. Americans, along with their European brethren, are being turned into livestock, living in high-tech pens, where literally...

The California legislature just passed a new bill to require all major fast-food chains throughout the state to pay their employees at least $20 per hour – and McDonald's, the world's largest fast-food chain with 40,100 stores worldwide, is really angry about it. The passage of Assembly Bill 1228, which is now on its way to Gov. Gavin Newsom's desk, "will result in a devastating financial blow to California McDonald's franchises at a projected annual cost of $250,000 per McDonald's restaurant," responded the National Owners Association to the bill's passage. According to the legislators behind AB 1228, the bill only...

Buying ammunition used to be a relatively simple procedure in New York. You went into a gun store or other retailer, picked up what you wanted, paid for it, and walked out the door. Starting last week, however, all ammo sales must go through a background check conducted by the National Instant Check System with the New York State Police serving as a middleman between ammo sellers and the FBI’s background check system. The new law not only makes it more expensive to purchase a gun and ammunition in the state (new background check fees on gun purchases add an...
