On a recent steamy Sunday afternoon, customers strolled through the aisles of Glenn Miller’s Beer & Soda Warehouse, where overhead fans circulated the hot air. People heading to picnics, graduation parties and other get-togethers in Lemoyne, a Pennsylvania community just across the Susquehanna River from Harrisburg, breezed into the store, passing myriad displays of beers, with cases of top brands stacked high. Next to 30-packs of Miller Lite, on sale for $24.99, sat a stack of Bud Light. A large banner above it noted that, after a rebate, a 30-pack cost a mere $8.99. Andy Wagner, the manager and an...

The Chinese-backed World “Health” Organization (WHO) was perfectly happy to let a deadly virus kill 7 million people worldwide. But heaven forbid people enjoy a Diet Coke. According to Reuters, the disgraced organization is set to declare aspartame, one of the world’s most common artificial sweeteners, a possible carcinogen (cancer risk) next month. As the Guardian notes, aspartame is used as a sweetener in thousands of products globally such as Coca-Cola diet sodas, Mars’ Extra chewing gum, some Snapple drinks, Mentos, and ice cream. Reuters says it will be listed in July as “possibly carcinogenic to humans” for the first...

A few months ago, I was summarily fired as an editor-in-chief of the kidney section of the most widely used medical reference. UpToDate is used by tens of thousands of physicians every day, helping them make the best and most timely decisions for patient care. Even as I was fired, UpToDate’s leadership team praised my work. So why did they fire me? Over the previous four years, I had publicly questioned the rise of “diversity, equity, and inclusion,” or DEI, in health care, expressing particular concern about its ubiquity in medical schools. That included the institution where I taught and...

Right after Joe Biden’s election victory in 2020, former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman got a phone call. Whitman, a Republican, had endorsed Biden in the race against then-President Donald Trump. Now, the caller said, Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris wanted her cell number. No one ever called. Whitman was part of a cohort of prominent Republicans who broke with the party in 2020. Fed up with Trump, they gravitated to Biden’s campaign thinking he would be a unifying figure. Former Rep. Christopher Shays, a Republican from Connecticut, endorsed Biden in 2020 but says he is now...

During an appearance on Fox News with anchor Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, Peter Schweizer made a shocking revelation. Joe Biden was using a covert cell phone, according to Schweizer, author of “Secret Empires,” and Hunter Biden’s company had purchased it. “What is the line of communications between Hunter Biden and his business partners and Joe Biden when he’s Vice President of the United States?” Schweizer said. “It’s not the government phone. It’s not Joe Biden’s personal phone. We know from the laptop that Hunter Biden’s business paid for a private phone line that Joe Biden used while he was Vice...

The little euroweasel who tells us BRICs are the wave of the future, suddenly remembers who's got the money. Over in Sweden, they're scrapping their green schemes because these programs are costly, based on junk science, and do nothing. But France is another story. President Macron has decided he'd like to get Americans to pay for his country's green schemes -- by taxing them. According to WattsUpWithThat, he's got global green taxes in mind, which the ex-financier knows very well will be paid in tghe main by Americans. In the wake of the Aussie, New Zealand and Canadian climate ministers...

FTX managed to raise $400 million in funding while showing false documents to investors, according to the crypto exchange's new CEO. John J Ray III made the accusation in a report about the company which was filed with the Delaware Bankruptcy Court on Monday. He said that Sam Bankman-Fried and one of the company's attorneys created "sham agreements" to make improper financial arrangements with Alameda, its sister hedge fund, look legitimate. This is a particularly interesting detail because the crypto exchange's implosion last November was provoked by the apparent commingling of funds between FTX and Alameda. -snip "In January 2021...

[Editor’s note: Following is Shillman Fellow Daniel Greenfield’s introduction to Jamie Glazov’s highly acclaimed new bestseller, “Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America.” Order it: HERE. The excerpt originally appeared at WND.com.] Barack Obama’s presidency was historic. Pundits said it, celebrities tweeted it, and the community organizer from Chicago was not shy about constantly bringing it up. And it was true. Over a decade after his inauguration, we are still living in his shadow. His history of economic decline, racial division, and terrorist appeasement is our present. The third term of his presidency under Biden makes him inescapable even...

2:22 President Joe Biden slammed the U.S. Supreme Court for its decision striking down racial preferences in college admissions on Thursday, declaring in the White House: “This is not a normal court.” Biden scheduled a press event to react to the decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. President and Fellows of Harvard College, in which a group representing Asian-American students sued Harvard and the University of North Carolina over their affirmative action programs. The court struck down racial preferences in college admissions that could not meet the “strict scrutiny” standards of the Constitution’s Fourteenth Amendment.

“One day in January, I caught myself mumbling the ‘Ooga Chaka’ chant from Blue Swede’s ‘Hooked on a Feeling” in rhythm with the Beatles’ “Birthday,” and marveled at how well they fit together. I tried it with other songs and realized I could have some on-air fun with it.” Al, who goes by Alan Darsen on air, frequently devotes time on his show to novelty holidays like National Buy a Cupcake Day. “I decided it was time to invent a holiday of our own.
