The 13-year-old son of a Florida 'whistleblower' who claimed Governor Ron DeSantis' office fabricated Covid-19 statistics during the pandemic was arrested after allegedly threatening a school shooting. Rebekah Jones took to Twitter on Tuesday night to announce the arrest, which she alleged was personally ordered by DeSantis and carried out by the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office. Jones said her son was taken into custody over memes he had sent in a private group chat which joked about school shootings— including one which made fun of lazy school security guards, and another which joked about being tempted to grab a...

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matt. 5:4). Sin is a serious issue with God. He never winks at it or takes it lightly. Satan desires to desensitize Christians to the heinousness of sin. He wants you to stop mourning over sin and start enjoying it. Impossible? Many who once thought so have fallen prey to its power. It usually doesn't happen all at once. In fact, the process can be slow and subtle— almost imperceptible. But the results are always tragic. How can you remain alert to the dangers of sin and protect yourself from...

Music mogul David Foster's Democrat daughter Sara Foster excoriated liberal politicians who are 'ruining cities' and referred to to San Francisco as a 'complete s**thole' over the murder of CashApp founder Bob Lee. MANCHESTER, N.H. — Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie wondered if the Republican field has what it takes to stop former President Donald Trump. Christie challenged Republicans to find someone who can do to Trump “what I did to Marco” Rubio — a callback to his 2016 debate-stage evisceration of the Republican senator from Florida — “because that’s the only thing that’s going to defeat” Trump. “You have to be fearless, because he will come back — and right at you,” Christie said. “And that means you need to think about who’s got the skill to do that, and who’s...

BRATTLEBORO — The crime began and ended Monday. The court arraignment concluded Tuesday. But for residents shocked by this week’s violent death of a local social worker, questions linger. “There’s a wish we have when the unthinkable and tragic happens like this — to find a simple answer,” said Kurt White, vice president of outpatient programs at the state’s largest psychiatric hospital, the Brattleboro Retreat. “But this is not really that kind of thing. These are complicated and complex problems, and there are not simple answers.” And so, many southeastern Vermonters are struggling to process the death of Leah Rosin-Pritchard,...
