Joy Behar told her co-hosts Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that she believes the Republican Party will not win any national elections because they are alienating young voters. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “The Wall Street Journal has a great editorial today about that this Wisconsin Supreme Court seat going to a Democrat should be a huge wake-up call on how Republicans are alienated suburban voters, young voters and women.” She continued, “Now all we talk about is what we are against and not what we are for. Take that even further, Gen Z, I teach at Georgetown University, and...

President Donald Trump decried the failing state of our nation during remarks delivered on Tuesday night at Mar-a-Lago, shortly after flying back from New York on the heels of his arraignment in court before Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan.“With all of this being said and with a very dark cloud hanging over our beloved country, I have no doubt nevertheless that we will make America great again,” the president told the crowd. He spoke for just over 30 minutes, slamming the politicized justice system not only in Manhattan but in Georgia, as well, ripping the “local racist district attorney” in the...

The House Judiciary Committee on Thursday issued a subpoena demanding congressional testimony from Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg‘s office who worked on the hush money probe of former President Trump. It is the first subpoena the panel has issued related to its investigation of Mr. Trump‘s arrest on 34 felony charges of falsifying business records. Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, Ohio Republican, said earlier this week that a subpoena of Mr. Bragg is also on the table, but has not yet been issued. Mr. Jordan last month requested Mr. Pomerantz testify before the panel. Mr....

Falsifying business records “with intent to defraud,” by itself, is a mere misdemeanor under New York law. It is only elevated to a Class E felony, punishable by 1–5 years in prison, when committed with “intent to commit another crime and aid and conceal the commission thereof.” So Bragg’s challenge is to prove not only that Trump illegally concealed his hush money payments, but also that he did so in furtherance of another crime. That crime, Bragg’s announcement of the indictment confirms, is a violation of election law: Bragg argues that Trump devised this scheme with the intent to influence...

MIDLAND – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke to hundreds of Michigan Republicans here on Thursday, positioning himself as an unapologetic conservative who has developed a “culture of winning” in his state. “What we showed in Florida, is that if you show bold leadership, if you pursue a bold agenda, you can beat (Democrats),” DeSantis said at a Midland Republican Party breakfast. “We've beaten them in the state of Florida.” DeSantis has not yet announced a presidential campaign but is setting the stage for a possible run in the GOP primary against former President Donald Trump, who has led DeSantis by...

Trump became the first president to be arrested this week. This historical milestone underscores the importance of Trump’s 2024 aspirations. The regime fears him more than any other candidate–that’s why the corrupt system wants him in jail. The persecution of Trump demonstrates why his 2024 bid is the best cause for the Right to rally around. I can already see the angry reader comments about how Trump was the WORST PRESIDENT EVER because he didn’t put every libtard in a prison camp. We all know Trump is not perfect. We all know about his follies and letdowns. We all know...

On March 15th, Miles Guo was arrested by the DOJ just before he was scheduled to testify in the trial of Pras Michel. Is The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) making every effort to prevent that testimony - because they know it’ll pull back the curtain and further expose the CCP’s infiltration of the U.S. government? For background, Michel was indicted in 2021 by the Department of Justice and charged with engaging in undisclosed lobbying campaigns for the CCP, among other crimes. Most notably, he is accused of working with a network of crooked U.S. intelligence-linked actors and the CCP in...

Businesses in a number of service industries are calling for urgent measures to deal with a shortage of qualified staff. They say recruitment issues are preventing further expansion and causing knock-on consequences for customers. Difficulties are being experienced by many companies and small enterprises. A lack of available mechanics is leading to delays for those seeking service or repair work at many garages. Owners say the process to secure permits for non-EU residents is drawn out and cumbersome. They have called for a widening of the Critical Skills list, which allows those with necessary competences to live and work here....

Software asset management and purchases for the IT system underpinning security clearance background investigations will be consolidated under a single commercial contractor. The program created to secure the sensitive information used to conduct background investigations for federal security clearances plans to consolidate all of its IT software purchasing and management under an unnamed Native Hawaiian small business. The National Background Investigation Services, or NBIS—the IT backbone for the background investigations that assist federal agencies in making security clearance decisions—currently buys software products on an as-needed basis using various contracting methods. However, a new consolidated acquisition method has been approved that...

Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) is finding success wooing his Senate GOP colleagues to his side for a possible 2024 presidential run, with a number of his fellow senators personally encouraging him to get in the race. Of roughly a dozen Senate Republicans The Hill interviewed, three — Sens. John Thune (S.D.), Mike Rounds (S.D.) and John Cornyn (Texas) — said they have outright encouraged Scott to run for the White House, while two others — Sens. Kevin Cramer (N.D.) and Shelley Moore Capito (W.Va.) said they’ve talked with him behind closed doors about his potential run. Almost every other senator...

The US Department of Labor just reported a large increase in the number of initial and continuing jobless claims. But the real story is that the increase actually happened 3 weeks ago and they are just now changing the data. Did they intentionally mislead the public about the "strong jobs market" in order to stop the bank run? YouTube Video

Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper (HOLY THURSDAY) John 13:1–15Friends, in today’s Gospel, Jesus washes the disciples’ feet. He is giving them a visual proclamation of his new commandment: "Love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another."When we accept this commandment, we walk the path of joy. When we internalize this law, we become happy. And so the paradox: happiness is never a function of filling oneself up; it is a wonderful function of giving oneself away. When the divine grace enters one’s life (and everything we have is the result of divine grace),...

Last week, Fox News aired a segment discussing the possibility that the US dollar will cease to be the global reserve currency and what that would mean for Americans. The tone of the piece suggested that a “catastrophic” decline of the US dollar was not only possible, but perhaps even imminent. CNN last week also aired its own segment suggesting the US will face “a reckoning like none before” if the “dollar’s dominance” in the global economy falls significantly.Much of the analysis was framed to stoke the public’s fears of Chinese geopolitical power, and the Fox segment was especially hyperbolic...
