Students at the University of Massachusetts will now have access to chemical abortion pills on campus from the University Health Services (UHS). This follows the passage of a new law, sponsored by Rep. Lindsay Sabadosa (D), which requires all UMass health centers to dispense abortion pills with financial assistance from taxpayers. The chemical abortion procedure is a two-step process that begins when the woman takes mifepristone, which blocks progesterone, starving the baby of the nutrients it needs to survive. Then she takes misoprostol, which triggers contractions and bleeding to expel the baby from her womb. Achsah Dorsey, an assistant anthropology...

MEDFORD, Ore. — A 75-year-old woman was arrested early Saturday morning after leading police on a high-speed chase on Interstate 5 from Merlin to Ashland. Josephine County Sheriff's Office deputies clocked the car traveling at 112 mph on the interstate near Merlin just before midnight Friday. The driver failed to stop when deputies sounded their sirens, and when the woman passed into Jackson County, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office took over the chase. After the draft leak of the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, violence, threats, and attacks against the pro-life movement skyrocketed. Yet this went largely unnoticed, while the abortion industry continued to claim that pro-life advocates are the real danger. Now, a new study is setting the record straight. According to the study from the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC), there were 135 attacks against pro-life groups between May and September of 2022. During that same four-month period, there were just six attacks against abortion groups or supporters. “The bottom line is that after the Dobbs...

All she wanted was a burger and some nuggets from McDonald's. But imagine this woman's shock when her GrabFood order from the fast food restaurant's Yishun outlet came up to an excess of $1,203. "Laugh my a** out. What?" TikTok user Cowsmoker said in a video shared on Friday (Nov 4), while showing that her small order fee for her order was around $1,185. A small order fee applies to orders less than the minimum order value set by the restaurant, according to Grab. Fortunately, Cowsmoker chose to see the funnier side to this incident. "They think I what? Elon...

China’s Xian H-6K strategic bomber has been spotted carrying a new type of air-launched ballistic missile (ALBM), emphasizing its anti-access/area denial (A2/AD), carrier-killer and standoff strike capabilities against US bases and forces in the Pacific. This month, The Warzone reported that H-6K, serial 11097, was seen with a pair of new underwing missiles possibly derived from the hypersonic CM-401, a truck or ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) with land-attack capabilities that was first launched in 2018. The report noted that the new ALBMs combine the CM-401’s formidable combat characteristics with the increased standoff range of the H-6K. According to the...

The US midterm elections are Tuesday. I was denied an absentee ballot for some reason, but I will get my disabled body over to the local precinct to cast my ballot. Fortunately for Democrats, the next inflation report is not due out until November 10th. Because the forecast for the next inflation report is ugly. Headline CPI YoY = 7.9% Core CPI YoY = 6.5% These numbers are slightly lower than the last inflation report, but Americans are still suffering mightily under Biden’s Reign of Error. Diesel fuel prices, the lifeline of the food industry, is up 102% under Biden’s...

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) will not be running for president during the 2024 election cycle, further paving the way for a Donald Trump ticket. A source close to Cotton confirmed to Breitbart News that he will not run for president in 2024. The decision comes after he has reached out to donors and senior Republican officials over the past week to inform him of his 2024 plans. According to Politico, Cotton has based the decision on “family concerns, saying that a national campaign would take him away from his two young sons, who are seven and five years old.” For...

A woman who says she worked as a housekeeper for Jeff Bezos is suing the Amazon founder and companies that manage his properties, claiming she endured “unsafe and unhealthy work conditions” and was subject to racial discrimination by other staff. Mercedes Wedaa said she was hired by Bezos’ staff in 2019 to help maintain the billionaire tech magnate’s Seattle-area property. Wedaa and other housekeeping staff regularly worked between 10 to 14 hours a day, and weren’t given adequate meal or rest breaks, she alleged in the lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday in King County Superior Court in Seattle. The National Institutes of Health has issued more than a million dollars via taxpayer-funded medical research grants to find evidence that racism is to blame for poor sleep in minority communities. The funding was appropriated to Dr. Alexander Tsai, an associate professor at Harvard University who is conducting the research through Massachusetts General Hospital, where he works as a psychiatrist. The studies are based on the hypothesis that the disparity in sleep health in the black community is “thought to be explained partially by experiences of interpersonal racial discrimination.” “This application focuses on police use of deadly force on unarmed...

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) on Sunday said he sees parallels between the current threats to U.S. democracy and the rise of fascism in Germany and Italy in the 1930s. Clyburn told “Fox News Sunday” host Shannon Bream that election denialism and calling the press the enemy “causes those kinds of deterioration in democracy.” “I taught history and I’m telling you what I see here are parallels to what the history was in this world back in the 1930s in Germany, in Italy,” Clyburn said. “The facts are very clear.” Last week, Clyburn, the third highest-ranking Democrat in the...

Billionaire Citadel Investment hedge fund CEO Ken Griffin (pictured above, center) is one of the top purchasers of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for a 2024 presidential bid. In a recent article for Politico, Mr. Griffin openly explains what he expects from his investment in DeSantis: WASHINGTON DC – […] He has given nearly $60 million to federal Republican candidates and campaigns this election cycle. That puts Griffin behind just liberal billionaire George Soros, who’s given more than $128 million to Democrats, and Richard Uihlein, who aligns himself with far-right candidates and organizations, at about $62 million. […] While he’s supporting...

The economic crisis in Cuba continues to impact the population, this time affecting Catholics specifically because the lack of wheat flour has meant that no more Communion hosts can be made. The St. Teresa Discalced Carmelite Monastery in Havana announced the news Wednesday. “We inform all the dioceses that there are no longer hosts for sale. We have been working with the little flour that was left and what was in reserve has already run out,” the nuns reported in a statement shared by the Catholic publication Vida Cristiana. “We hope and trust in the Lord that we can resume...

Mr. Musk—who once described himself to The Wall Street Journal as a “nano manager” steeped in the smallest details—appears to be employing many of the management tactics he deployed in building his other companies, Tesla Inc. and Space Exploration Technologies Corp., executives and advisers say. Those include a hands-on obsession over product decisions, a distaste for corporate structures and a focus on speed. Tesla is now the world’s most-valuable car company, and SpaceX is the world’s busiest rocket-launch operation. At a minimum, this is an untraditional approach,” said Joel Peterson, the former chairman of JetBlue Airways Corp., who has served...

From our Bureau of Great Moments in Socialist Agriculture with some assistance from our Bureau of Lethal Nostalgia They’ve done it. Castro, Inc. has managed to destroy Cuba’s sugar industry. This is quite an accomplishment, given the fact that 63 years ago Cuba was the world’s leading producer and exporter of sugar. Destroying the one agricultural industry that made Cuba one of the most economically successful nations in all of Latin America was not easy, since Cuba has such fertile soil and the infrastructure for sugar production in 1959 was arguably the world’s finest and most impressive. Once upon a...
