A state senator is accusing the New Jersey Education Association of “resorting to KGB tactics” through its effort to gather information about political skirmishes over schools through its Center for Honesty in Education. The teachers’ union says the center aims to combat disinformation and dangerous rhetoric in local school districts. But Sen. Ed Durr, R-Gloucester, said it’s a bid to squash parents and community groups who challenge the indoctrination of children in schools. “This is outrageous that because parents want to voice their concerns and their opinions about their child’s education that they’re encouraging teachers and board members now to...

I have waited "patiently" to be able to get on Truth Social with my PC, but I have run into a problem. In trying to sign up, they require an email address with a return email from the one they send --- done, but then also a phone number where you return a code from their text. All stop. I don't have, and don't want, a smart phone. So, I can't receive or send text messages. So, I can't sign up for Truth Social as it is currently configured. I can not find a work-around anywhere. Some other places will...

(The Hill) – The phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” started off as a dig at President Biden that spread quickly online and became a political slogan adopted by the president’s critics on the right, including former President Trump. The phrase became popular among Trump’s base after a reporter interviewing NASCAR driver Brandon Brown mistakenly interpreted the crowd’s background chanting of “f— Joe Biden” as “Let’s Go Brandon.” But recently, the use of the phrase has shown signs of shifting. The precursors to the “Dark Brandon” meme first started to make the rounds online shortly after Biden was elected, when a Chinese...

Former President Trump on Tuesday continued to excoriate 'Radical Left' Democrats after the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago residence. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the raid was a continuation of Russian collusion allegations, the Impeachment "Hoax," and more. "To make matters it is all, in my opinion, a coordinated attack with Radical Left Democrat state & local D.A.'s & A.G.'s," Trump said. In a follow-up post, he accused President Biden of supposedly knowing about the raid, "just like he knew all about Hunter's 'deals.'"

Shimao archaeological site is located in the northern part of the Loess Plateau, on the southern edge of the Ordos Desert. The site dates to about 2000 BC towards the end of the Longshan period and covers an area of about 400 ha. The walls at Shimao, the largest known walled...

In recent months, I’ve dedicated many articles to exposing the intentional destruction of our food system. The decision of the Dutch government to impose nitrogen pollution restrictions on farmers is but one example of this. This “green” policy will cut livestock production in the country by 30% in the next year, put farmers out of business, and force them to sell their land. Since The Netherlands is the largest meat exporter in the European Union,1 it will also result in meat shortages around the world. According to Dutch Parliament member Thierry Baudet,2 this “green” policy is really a thinly veiled...

There are many things fishy about the search of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Largo house on Monday. First, the former president had been cooperating since he left office with the National Archives and the Justice Department regarding documents taken there by Trump during his presidency. The Archives took 15 boxes of documents, mementos, and keepsakes from Trump’s house last January. A “person familiar” with the list of items removed from Mar-a-Largo says “items that were improperly taken to Mar-a-Lago include a cocktail napkin, a phone list, charts, slide decks, letters, memos, maps, talking points, a birthday dinner menu, schedules and more.” There...

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) said Attorney General Merrick Garland must step down or be impeached following the raid on former President Donald Trump’s home. “At a minimum, Garland must resign or be impeached. The search warrant must be published. Christopher Wray must be removed. And the FBI reformed top to bottom,” he wrote in a social media post Tuesday:

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) — Though the vote tally is not final, GOP challenger Joe Kent has taken a lead of 960 votes over incumbent Jaime Herrera Beutler in the race for second place in the Washington 3rd Congressional District primary. Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez remains solidly in the lead by around 17,000 votes. Since Washington primaries select the top two finishers regardless of party affiliation, the candidate who places second will face Perez in the November election.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Americans may finally be catching a break from relentlessly surging prices — if just a slight one — even as inflation is expected to remain painfully high for months. Thanks largely to falling gas prices, the government’s inflation report for July, to be released Wednesday morning, is expected to show that prices jumped 8.7% from a year earlier — still a sizzling pace but a slowdown from the 9.1% year-over-year figure in June. President Joe Biden has already pointed to falling gas prices as a sign that his policies — such as releases of oil from the...

Cubans living in Matanzas continue to deal with a raging fire at the Matanzas Supertanker Base, as a third oil tank exploded yesterday. At around 1:30 p.m. yesterday, Cubans across the island witnessed an explosion live on national television. From afar, many said they could feel the heat from the flames coming from the oil storage facility. Several tanks have collapsed and fires continue to burn at the large oil storage facility, which is about 60 miles from Havana. Since the fire started on Saturday, nearly 5,000 people have been evacuated.

Mehmet Oz, the Republican candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania, blasts President Joe Biden’s FBI and Department of Justice for the Monday raid on former President Donald Trump’s estate in Florida. Oz made his comments in a Tuesday morning tweet: "America is bitterly divided, & what Pres. Biden’s FBI and DOJ did last night will only make things worse. Americans have every right to be upset & demand answers on why this raid happened in the most aggressive action taken against a former president ever in our nation’s history."

The torrent of outrage from Donald Trump's supporters on Tuesday has been predictable. Of course they were going to vent their fury after FBI agents searched the former president's home. It plays straight into the narrative Mr Trump himself perpetuates that he is a victim of a corrupt establishment. As he likes to say at his rallies, no political leader has ever been treated as badly as he has. In fact, the FBI search Mr Trump has called a "raid" is helping to solidify his campaign of grievances against the state. Listening to the gist of what his supporters are...

“This guy Garland goes after parents. He goes after Republican state legislatures, he goes after states he disagrees with their abortion positions, he doesn't do a thing to protect the border, which is compelled by the Constitution. Nothing. So let's be clear. Newt is right, they are all right. This is the worst attack on this republic in modern history. Period.”

There’s a lot of mystery in “Forensic Files,” but not too much behind the decision by the cable network that airs the series to keep it going longer. CNN has renewed its license with the long-running series’ original producer, Medstar, to produce new episodes of “Forensic Files II” through 2024, according to Nancy Duffy, senior vice president of program development for CNN, and executive producer of the series. “It’s a real binge-worthy kind of vehicle,” she says, in an interview — and fares well in both linear showings and on the streaming platforms of parent company Warner Bros. Discovery. HLN...
