Voters are heading to the polls for the Colorado primary Tuesday. With races all around the state, one with potentially widespread implications is taking place in Colorado’s Third Congressional District. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), endorsed by former President Donald Trump, is trying to hold onto her seat. But keeping her office in Congress is not happening without a challenge. Her primary opponent, Republican State Senator Don Coram, touts himself as a legislator, not an instigator. “He’s respected pretty broadly within the Republican Party and even by many Democrats who’ve worked with him over the years. And he’s generally considered a...

If the Left can’t achieve policy victories because their policies lead to depression and societal ruination, then they will do so by force and ignore the people and the rule of law. It’s only insurrection when the other side does it! For one and a half years, the Left and its media allies have peddled the narrative of a Republican insurrection. Meanwhile, Democrats and their supporters burn federal courthouses, attack property rights and the rule of law, and now call the Supreme Court illegitimate after its ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson. This isn’t just a few fringe voices. Prominent legal...

Illinois Republicans have descended into infighting and finger-pointing on the eve of the state’s primaries as a MAGA-aligned candidate for governor appears poised to claim the nomination over the GOP establishment favorite who spent $50 million only to see his prospects collapse. Richard Irvin, the mayor of Aurora, not only is expected to lose Tuesday, but he could end up in third place or worse, according to recent polls. That’s despite the tens of millions in dollars that a hedge fund billionaire poured into his candidacy — all part of an effort to propel a candidate who party leaders believed...

Al-Husseina Amadou never forgets the day she was sold. Like her parents, she was born into slavery in southern Niger. Forty-five years ago, when she was 15, a wealthy businessman from across the border in Nigeria arrived and bought her from her family’s master as a “fifth wife” or wahaya. “My parents had no say,” she recalls. “I was just a girl and he bought me like a chicken in the market ...For 15 years Amadou lived with her “husband” in northern Nigeria, cooking and cleaning for his four “official” wives, whom he had married in accordance with Islamic law,...

Democrats and Progressive Press go fully Unhinged before Mid Term Elections. With the recent Supreme Court ruling on Abortion. Democrats and the Progressive Press have started screaming at the country. Trying to persuade us that abortion is the biggest issue in the nation (it's not). After COVID, most of us just want our lives to get back to normal. But instead, we get a War in the Ukraine, Supply Chain issues emptying the grocery and drug stores, $5 a gallon gas and an out of control border situation with Baby Formula being piled up in Border Hopper processing centers instead...

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) is preparing to hit the ground running as chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee in a possible GOP majority, overseeing a large portion of an investigation into President Biden’s administration that Republicans are promising. Comer, who has been ranking member on the committee since mid-2020, has three top priorities for those probes and committee hearings: Hunter Biden’s business dealings, the origins of COVID-19 virus and management of the U.S.-Mexico border. While Comer has to wait until he has the chairman’s gavel to call hearings on those topics, Republican investigations have already started. “We’re ready...

The head of a Portland family and pregnancy support center said Monday on "Fox & Friends First" the nonprofit was mistakenly targeted and damaged by protesters angry over the Supreme Court decision to reverse Roe v. Wade. Mother and Child Education Center executive director Maura White told hosts Carley Shimkus and Joey Jones that the organization is not "anti-abortion," as protesters believed. "My organization, we are nonprofit, and we help moms, families, kids in need, babies from zero to 5 years old. We're just there to help people. And so they mistakenly thought that we were out here doing anti-abortion...

The US drugstore chain CVS said on Monday that it had temporarily limited purchases of the morning-after pill to three boxes per transaction, in order to avoid a shortage following a recent US Supreme Court verdict that revoked the constitutional right to abortion. In a statement, the company said it had "ample supply" of Plan B and Aftera, two products intended to be taken by women to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or if a birth control method fails. The drugs -- commonly known as morning-after pills -- are distinct from abortion drugs, which terminate pregnancies. The move comes after...

SAN ANTONIO — Forty-six migrants were found dead in the back of a tractor trailer Monday in southwest San Antonio, officials confirmed. At least 16 others -- 12 adults and four children -- were taken to nearby hospitals. San Antonio Fire Chief Charles Hood said all the deaths stemmed from heat-related causes, including heat stroke and exhaustion. All were reportedly inside the back of the tractor-trailer that had no visible working A/C unit and no water, he said. The discovery was made shortly before 6 p.m. by a nearby worker who heard cries for help coming from the truck, which...

The former military officers worry that their alma mater has embraced "woke" teachings that will undermine the mission of the institution. Several retired U.S. military officers signed a letter written by "Concerned Graduates of West Point and The Long Gray Line," which objects to mandatory vaccinations, CRT instruction, progressivism and other "woke" sentiments in the military academy. "We wanted to challenge the leadership of the Academy and the Defense Dept on their WOKE actions, CRT, Diversity training and the other discrepancies in the Academy," retired Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely, told the Epoch Times. "We found it pervasive at the...

Panicking over the end of Roe v. Wade and lashing out at anyone who stands in their way of keeping abortion legal at the state level, NBC Nightly News ran a complete and total smear of pro-life crisis pregnancy clinics that help women to choose life and provide them with the resources to financially and psychologically get through the pregnancy and through motherhood. Anchor Lester Holt opened the segment by whining that "there are more crisis pregnancy centers nationwide than abortion clinics. At least 13 states have spent nearly half a billion taxpayer dollars to fund them." He then turned...

Every branch of the U.S. military is struggling to meet its fiscal year 2022 recruiting goals, say multiple U.S. military and defense officials, and numbers obtained by NBC News show both a record low percentage of young Americans eligible to serve and an even tinier fraction willing to consider it. The officials said the Pentagon’s top leaders are now scrambling for ways to find new recruits to fill out the ranks of the all-volunteer force. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks consider the shortfall a serious issue, said the officials, and have been meeting on...

The antiviral treatment for COVID left a monstrous taste in my mouth. Cinnamon candies were my savior. If you know anyone who’s taken Paxlovid, a popular prescription treatment for COVID-19, you’ve probably heard talk of an awful side effect: the Paxlovid aftertaste. But “awful” is an understatement. And, really, so is “aftertaste,” because it’s not just a bad flavor that lingers on your tongue for a few minutes after swallowing a pill—it’s a disgusting, invisible monster that occupies your entire mouth for five straight days. Paxlovid is an antiviral treatment in the form of a five-day pill pack, and though it...

Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Is Officially Changing Its Name The logo, packaging, and other details are also getting an update.Spelling people's names, you gotta be careful: Mark Wahlberg is different than Mark Walberg. (Which you prefer is up to you.) But with brands, you have a bit more leeway. If I were to write out In 'N' Out instead of their preferred In-N-Out, you'd likely still know I'm talking about the Southern Californian burger chain. But I prefer to go with a brand's preferred spelling. If Dunkin' wants to drop their Donuts or Jamba wants to ax their Juice, we...
