The January 6 insurrection may be a year behind Rep. Jason Crow, but the Colorado Democrat -- and many of his colleagues -- insist it would be a grievous error for his party to downplay the attack. "I just disagree with this notion that we shouldn't talk about this and that we shouldn't talk about what is at stake here and that this isn't important to people in their everyday lives," said Crow, a United States Army veteran who consoled his congressional colleagues as pro-Donald Trump rioters attempted to break into the House chamber. "It would be a massive mistake...

What do FReepers think of 9mm carbines as a mid-power varmint rifle? My requirements are relatively cheap ammo, typical range is < 100 yards (usually 50 yards or less, really), only moderate penetration, with stopping power similar to a .357 handgun / somewhere between a .22lr hollow point and a 12 ga. deer slug. We are witnessing history being repeated.Between September 1935 and the outbreak of World War II in September 1939 more than 120 laws, decrees and regulations, imposing over 400 legal restrictions, were enacted by the Third Reich on the justification of protecting the health of the German people. During the first six years of Hitler’s dictatorship, from 1933 until the outbreak of war in 1939, Jews felt the effects of more than 400 decrees and regulations that restricted all aspects of their public and private lives. Many of these were national laws but state, regional, and municipal officials, acting on their...

A private meeting among the vaccinated mutated into a super-spreader event demonstrating how Covid vaccines do not protect against infection. It is a small island state in the North Atlantic with around 50 000 inhabitants: the Faroe Islands. So, they’re looking at polling when it comes to the midterms and they know they’re in deep, deep trouble. All the polls indicate they are going to lose the House and the large number of Democratic retirements in the House are likely to add to that wave. So, they have to be desperate for how to improve their polling and their chances.A new Zogby poll is going to make their chances look even worse. It shows that likely voters have turned overwhelmingly against government mandates: 53...

Three things are certain in life: Death, taxes, and Democrats governing like far-left, dictatorial loons.Case in point? New York City got the first taste of its new boss today, and not shockingly at all, he’s pretty much the same as the old boss. After being sworn in shortly after midnight, Eric Adams opened up his term by signing two executive orders and taking to social media to brag about them. The first granted himself emergency powers to essentially do whatever he wants. The other re-upped the beleaguered city’s vaccine passport system. The first Executive Order will continue the existing state of emergency...

I’ll be completely straight with you. I don’t just oppose vaccine mandates, though of course I do. I oppose the COVID vaccines themselves, because every one of them is intimately and proximately linked to the gravest evil imaginable: the ongoing murder of the innocent. Without such murders, and the abuse of human remains, these vaccines wouldn’t exist. Our own NIH is paying doctors to perform more abortions, on intact babies with beating hearts, to harvest still more organs for COVID research. Today. See The Stream’s five-part expose revealing all this, with links to the medical articles and lab catalogs selling...

Dubbed the "global insurance policy", the project is planning on sending seeds, sperm and ovaries to the Moon. A solar-powered ark would then cryogenically store the frozen samples from some 6.7 million species underground. Prof Jekan Thanga, of University of Arizona, who proposed the idea in a paper earlier this year, says the human race must safeguard to world against global catastrophes. There is a similar project on Earth - the Svalbard Seedbank in...
