Let’s face it, everything Joe Biden and the Democrats do is about holding onto their power. So, they’re looking at polling when it comes to the midterms and they know they’re in deep, deep trouble.
All the polls indicate they are going to lose the House and the large number of Democratic retirements in the House are likely to add to that wave.
So, they have to be desperate for how to improve their polling and their chances.
A new Zogby poll is going to make their chances look even worse. It shows that likely voters have turned overwhelmingly against government mandates: 53 percent prefer personal choice over 37 percent who prefer government mandates.
For Democrats, one-third (33%) favor personal choice, as do a super-majority (72%) of Republicans and 55% of Independents. Also, 55% of those with college degrees and most age cohorts (except 65+) believe in personal choice of government mandates.
The poll also asked if it was “right or wrong to disobey mandates from the President.”
A look at party identification reveals more Independent voters favor disobeying Presidential mandates – 42% to 31%. For Republicans, it’s 49% – 26%, and for Democrats, 26% say it’s ok to disobey, with 49% believing it’s wrong.
It should frankly be more. But it shows how Republicans, Independents, and even a large percentage of Democrats don’t think the government has a right to tell you what to do.
The poll asked another question: who has more legal authority — the FBI or their local sheriff. Here, 46 to 31 percent went in favor of the local sheriff. I don’t think either should have a say in your medical health. But if you only had a choice between the two, the choice for the local sheriff shows the belief that they don’t think it’s up to the federal government.
All of this is a big message and a bad sign for Biden and the Democrats who have been so behind the mandates. People are tired. They’ve had enough of restrictions and the government trying to tell them what to do.
Is polling like this part of the reason we’re seeing a shifting of the administration’s message? One might think so, yet they still have the mandates in play and are fighting for them in courts. But, if there’s no federal solution, why are they still pushing them?
If this poll is any indication, the mandates are not only a losing strategy for being morally and constitutionally wrong, but now they’re bad political strategy for the Democrats, too — the one thing they truly care about. But they’re sort of caught between a rock and a hard place on this. If they back off the mandates visibly, they will be fried by the folks on the left that they have indoctrinated with the fear porn. They created them, and they would likely be eaten alive by them. So they can’t make that choice. At least not visibly. And at this point, even if they tried to move away from the mandates, people wouldn’t forget that easily. They don’t have any great options from which to choose.

We have close to 40% of people who want to live in a totalitarian society. And we have 10% who aren’t even aware of what’s going on...
This is still alarmingly high. I’m not assured by this poll at all.
Did Zogby poll the Dems dead voters?
It’s all about strategy and power. They would not care if the shots were proven to be a lethal dose of cyanide. They could not care less how many of their own including women and children that they take down with them. It is sick and disgusting.
Your assuming this poll was able to question all of those magic 81 million voters.

Now as to Vaccine mandates. It is clear that the polls show mandates are not popular. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the polling numbers is, “......Also, 55% of those with college degrees and most age cohorts (except 65+) believe in personal choice of government mandates.......”
Anyone remember when polling data showed that those with college degrees favored Hillary and then later Biden over Trump and the media made a big deal about stereotyping Trump supporters is illiterate hicks from the country? I wonder why the media is silent on this change in sides of those with college degrees?
Because vaccine mandates are unpopular with voters, the Dem’s are going to have to find out how to do away with vaccine mandates and yet not alienate those who they have scared into believing death awaits all who are not vaccinated as well as death awaits the vaccinated who are “killed” by the heartless unvaccinated.
The Dem’s only solution on the vaccine mandate will be to declare victory over Covid, and that it was all because of the superior leadership of Democrats. This has to happen between now and November of this year for them to save the House of Representatives, which I think is impossible due to inflation now running rampant and hitting most people's pocket books.
So how will the Democrats declare victory over Covid? Will they enlist other countries to also declare victory? Probably have to. Will beloved cult hero Dr. Fauci explain every week on Oprah, major network news conferences, and Sunday news shows how Democrats have heroically beaten Covid? Yes, I think so, and they will need to start before June of this year when campaigns get heavy. Watch for the pivot.
A couple more New Year's predictions. The Epstein madam will claim that Trump was a pedophile. It is not true, but we have seen from Russia-gate that truth is not something important to Democrats and their public relations media fellow travelers. Also the Jan 6th Commission will slime both Trump and critical Senate Democrats to try to tip the voting scales this November.
Another New Year's prediction is that Democrats will try to smear Republicans as be “co-responsible” for inflation. This is a claim that may get some traction. And Inflation may be the biggest deal that causes people to vote one way or another in the November elections.
Finally, expect changes to voting laws to be a big deal for Democrats so that they have a better opportunity to cheat in the coming November elections.

No way will the Dems lose anything with their new-and-improved cheating scams.
Why would Biden respond to polls? He’s not dependent upon voters to get “re-elected”.

Apparently you’re correct; logic plays no role in this. While more than half the country has moved on, NYC has implemented the strictest requirement yet (mandating shots with no weekly testing for ALL private employers). They bemoan the fact that only 28% of workers have returned to NYC, then push this radical measure. Some companies have pushed the same for remote workers - they have no exposure to ANYONE.
They don’t care for the time being because they can still tax (city AND state income taxes) workers in NJ and CT who work remotely at “New York City” jobs, but employers should wisen up and simply transfer those staffers to satellite offices in their home states.

Like you, I found this interesting as well. We have been told that the "educated" voters, (the ones with worthless gender studies degrees and 120K in debt) are so smart and vote democrap. If these people are tired of the mandates, then something is up.
And there you have it. It doesn’t matter as long as the vote counters can continue the steal.
Since 2020, how many states (especially the ones involved in the 2020 election mess) have introduced and passed legislation to tighten up voting laws intended to prevent voter fraud?
As far as I can find ... none.
So why would the Dems care about polls? It wouldn’t matter if they were polling in the low teens ... across the country they have been working to perfect their voter fraud techniques without any fear of prosecution.
2022 mid-terms will be their trial ground to make inroads into Republican strong holds, where I believe we will see “stunning upsets” in long time Republican controlled areas.
Of course there will be the accusations of voter fraud by Republicans ... but what will come of it? Nothing. We will see the same State run media claim the election was the “fairest” in history and “where is the evidence” snarky comments on their “news” shows.
January 2023 will be here before you know it and the fraudulently elected rats will be seated in congress and that’s it ... they are in, never to be removed no matter what evidence is brought forth of the past election fraud.
So ... who gives a $hit about poll numbers ... what we should care about is what Anti-Fraud Election laws are being introduced and passed in the states that the 2020 election was stolen, but also in all other states ... at least the Republican controlled ones. And if the Republican controlled states can’t even pass election reform laws when they have the power to do so ... then why should be care about reading stories of “poll numbers”.
