On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) said that “we are never going to get our lives back to normal, never going to see our economy working in the way we want it to, our businesses open,” until the coronavirus is defeated. While discussing the coronavirus situation in New Hampshire, Shaheen stated that New Hampshire doesn’t have as good a vaccination rate as the rest of New England, “So, we need to continue to encourage people to get their vaccinations, to get boostered, and to continue to wear facemasks, to do all of the things...

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday said lawmakers should not be barred from trading stock, a practice that has come under scrutiny because it gives members of Congress the opportunity to profit from inside information gained through their official duties. “We are a free-market economy. They should be able to participate in that,” Pelosi, whose venture-capitalist husband holds tens of millions of dollars’ worth of stocks and options, told reporters. Pelosi has long said she has no involvement in or prior knowledge of her husband’s trading decisions. The issue of congressional stock trading has taken on new urgency since the...

With Christmas approaching so quickly, I’m like most people: scurrying from store to store…looking for bargains on just the right gifts for my family and friends…and, of course, making the occasional stop at the grocery store. Until this week, that included our neighborhood Kroger. But thanks to the absurd decision Kroger’s corporate leadership just announced, I’m adding them to my Naughty List and will henceforth spend our grocery dollars elsewhere. In case you missed the news, “woke” executives at Kroger announced they will “end some benefits” for employees beginning January 1st… including removing paid emergency leave for unvaccinated employees who...

The United States on Wednesday registered the highest number of hurricane-force gusts on record in a single day, the National Weather Service (NWS) said, days after one of the deadliest tornado outbreaks in U.S. history. More than 55 gusts of above 75 mph were recorded across a number of mostly Midwestern states...

Web infrastructure company Cloudflare on Wednesday revealed that threat actors are actively attempting to exploit a second bug disclosed in the widely used Log4j logging utility, making it imperative that customers move quickly to install the latest version as a barrage of attacks continues to pummel unpatched systems with a variety of malware. The new vulnerability, assigned the identifier CVE-2021-45046, makes it possible for adversaries to carry out denial-of-service (DoS) attacks and follows disclosure from the Apache Software Foundation (ASF) that the original fix for the remote code execution bug — CVE-2021-44228 aka Log4Shell — was "incomplete in certain non-default...

“I’ve seen ‘impossible’ happen so many times, it’s just common to me,” Robert Bailey, Jr. said as he showed me his most prized work: The Freedom Lantern. Robert’s dream is to see the U.S. government gift one of these meticulously crafted pieces to every U.S. veteran. The piece is meant to serve as a “thank you” for their service from a grateful nation and as a physical reminder that “someone cares.” “You know, that’s why we work with these veterans. We really like veterans, and I got to watching this veteran suicide business. It’s disturbing. I’ve been there, and I’ve...

In case you missed it the Formula 1 season concluded on the weekend with an epic finale to cap a season so memorable I have no doubt that major studios are already penning their scripts for rival big budget films. I was fortunate to catch one of the races at Monaco, an extra special privilege as the stands were 90% empty due to much confusion over whether spectators would be allowed. I have been an F1 fan for a long time and I understand quite a bit about the sport, but this article will not err towards the technical nor...

The London Observer, a Ministerial organ, says in its issue of Saturday Evening, Nov. 30: A special Messenger of the Foreign Office has been ordered to carry our demands to Lord LYONS, and will proceed by the packet from Queenstown to-day. The public will be satisfied to know that these demands are for an apology, and to insist on the restitution to the protection of the British flag of those who were violently and illegally torn from that sacred asylum. The Observer adds: "There is no reason why they should not be restored to the quarterdeck of the British Admiral...

A group of Republican lawmakers have moved to Joe Biden’s administration from potentially paying up to $450,000 in taxpayer money to some illegal aliens who were separated at the border under former President Trump’s “zero tolerance” policies. Sens. James Lankford (R-OK), Rick Scott (R-FL), Pat Toomey (R-PA), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Mike Rounds (R-SD), Bill Hagerty (R-TN), and Mike Braun (R-IN) on Tuesday introduced the Congressional Review of Agency Legal Settlements Act. According to Lankford’s office, the bill “empowers Congress to ensure agencies don’t skirt the formal rulemaking processes of the Administration Procedures Act and misuse federal tax dollars for exorbitant...

This song is the personal testimony of Anna the prophetess, the daughter of Penhanuel, of the tribe of Aser, of the people of Israel (Luke 2:36-38)! It is in the time of great Roman oppression and Anna has experienced and observed the despair of her people and the mighty oppressive power of Rome and her armies for many years. Notice in the lyrics of this song that Almighty God; her Lord and Savior; is ALWAYS observing her and taking care of her! She is ALWAYS in His ETERNAL presence and watchful eye. He always is hearing her prayers and sees...

Pray For The Peace of JerusalemLuke 28 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You...

In an effort to limit greenhouse gas emissions, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) voted this month to ban the sale of new off-road engines such as those found in leaf blowers, lawn mowers and other equipment by 2024. The ruling also bans portable generators by requiring new models to meet more stringent standards in 2024 and meet zero-emission standards starting in 2028.

Half a dozen anti-vaccine protesters were cuffed for staging a “sit in” inside the Cheesecake Factory in Queens Center Mall earlier this week. Six people, two of whom are from Queens, were arrested on Tuesday, Dec. 14, after they blew past the restaurant’s host stand, refused to show proof of vaccination and sat themselves down at several empty tables, according to the NYPD. A restaurant employee, who had asked the group to leave after they violated the restaurant’s COVID-19 policy, called the cops around 7 p.m., according to the authorities. Police arrived and charged six of the approximately 30 people...

At law, fraud is a very specific act requiring that the person charged with fraud knowingly makes a false statement intending that people rely on it. The fraud becomes actionable if people do rely on it to their detriment. The falsehood can be from commission (telling an affirmative lie) or omission (suppressing a critical fact). From the moment Trump entered the White House, chipmunk-cheeked Rep. Adam Schiff (D. Hollyweird), has been defrauding the American people with one lie after another. Schiff’s latest fraudulent act as part of his role on the Soviet-style show trial that is the January 6 committee...

Dare to be mediocre has never been a winning argument. The Biden administration, through state-sponsoring media outlets like the Washington Post, has instructed Americans to “consciously lower expectations.” For their own good. As evidenced by the Washington Post itself, it would be well-nigh impossible for mainstream media outlets to lower their standards. It’s a good thing the Founders -- and vast majority of later American presidents -- didn’t believe we should just “lower our expectations” (and standards) like the Biden administration does. Imagine Washington at Valley Forge saying, “Lower your expectations, boys.” Or Ben Franklin standing up during a long...

While they tell us in public that all they want is human dignity and equal rights, their real goal is more nefarious. When leftists talk amongst themselves, they’re honest about what they want. So, when Kay Gabriel, Jules Gleeson, Ira T, and Elle O’Rourke got together to talk about “trans liberation,” they freely admitted that one of the goals of the movement is to bring about a communist revolution. In other words, what you long suspected is true. Because I had no idea who Gabriel, Gleeson, T, and O’Rourke are, I looked them up. The results weren’t pretty. Gabriel has...

This did not wear well. On February 22, 2019, a story posted on Gentleman's Quarterly website was headlined: "The Racist, Homophobic Attack on Jussie Smollett Is America's Endgame. When one of the most famous black and gay men in America is not safe, the message is clearer than it has ever been." One of the most famous black and gay men? Count me among the multitudes who said, "Who is Jussie Smollett?" GQ.com, of course, referred to the alleged hate crime committed one winter night in Chicago against actor Smollett, coming back from Subway toting a tuna fish foot-long sandwich....

On September 8, 2021, Dick Anthony Heller, his associates and attorneys, filed a lawsuit against the District of Columbia for their infringements on Second Amendment rights by banning the individual manufacture of firearms. It has a good chance of restoring some Second Amendment rights because the District of Columbia has been very hostile to the Second Amendment since it was given a large amount of self-rule in 1976. From the lawsuit: After gaining home rule from the United States Congress in 1976, the District of Columbia’s elected officials have adhered to a policy of self government for me, but no...
