Congress did not grant OSHA the power to enforce vaccines in American workplaces. Where do matters stand now with President Joe Biden’s vaccination mandate? Its fate is uncertain. On November 12, 2021, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit stayed the effect of the OSHA mandate pending a final ruling on its validity. But all of the appeals have been consolidated in a different appellate court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. OSHA later announced that it has “suspended activities related to the implementation and enforcement of the ETS pending future developments in the litigation.”...

Doctors Warn New Medical School Guidance Would Lead to Unqualified Physicians and Unscientific MedicineAccreditation guidelines call meritocracy 'malignant,' suggest genetic screening is racist The two accrediting bodies for American medical schools now say that meritocracy is "malignant" and that race has "no genetic or scientific basis," positions that many doctors worry will lower standards of care and endanger lives by discouraging vital genetic testing. The Liaison Committee on Medical Education, which accredits all medical schools in North America, is cosponsored by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Association for Medical Colleges (AAMC)—the same groups that on Oct. 30...

Imagine this: Alabama loses a heartbreaker on Saturday. It makes Georgia sweat, taking a lead deep into the third quarter and nearly handing the powerhouse Bulldogs their first loss. In postgame press conferences, both Nick Saban and Kirby Smart say the Crimson Tide prove they are one of the four best teams in the country, if not No. 2. What does the College Football Playoff committee do? Does it buck history and invite a two-loss team for the first time? Does it pass on the big brand that is Alabama with the likely Heisman Trophy winner in quarterback Bryce Young?

ANN ARBOR, MI — It’s been 26 years since Janine Easter met Hillary Clinton at the White House and convinced the first lady to come visit her diehard fan club in Ann Arbor. The first lady also made a return visit two years later and again met with her loyal fans.

Sunday, the disgraced group has "a growing list of detractors" as many fear it could actually be enticing Trump to run for president again in 2024 despite its goal of defeating "Trumpism," and that it's become "ineffective" and "counterproductive" following Trump's loss in 2020, reports of internal strife and its failed hoax in Virginia to paint Republians as White supremacists. The Lincoln Project also continues to reel over co-founder John Weaver's sexual harassment scandal and a string of resignations earlier this year. "It was the darling of the resistance for savagely attacking Donald Trump. But now, everyone keeps rolling their...

Starting today, his new official name is Enes Kanter Freedom. In honor of becoming an American citizen today, he added a new last name, Freedom, which has a very American ring to it. Federal prosecutors accused Steve Bannon and his lawyers of attempting to try in the media the contempt of Congress charges the former White House strategist faces for defying subpoenas from the House committee investigating the Jan.6 attack on the Capitol. In a court filing submitted Sunday night, the D.C. U.S. Attorney's office pushed back on the defense's effort to unseal all evidence in the case, including grand jury testimony. The prosecutors argued that the move would be unusual and extreme in a criminal case. "The defense’s misleading claims, failure to confer, unexplained wholesale opposition, and extrajudicial statements make clear the...

The Democrat agenda depends on deliberately driving up energy prices in order to make their green energy boondoggles appear less outrageously wasteful and destructive than they really are. That approach has been painfully obvious from the beginning of the Biden administration, which has done everything possible to drive up the cost of energy by throttling supply. One of the very first things Joe Biden did upon occupying the Oval Office was to kill the Keystone XL pipeline, which would have been able to deliver hundreds of thousands of barrels of oil to U.S. refineries every single day. Next on the...

Beginning today, inspectors on German public transport will demand proof of vaccination, recent COVID-19 recovery, or a negative test before passengers are allowed to board, according to The New York Times. Documents will be checked randomly and federal police will be called in if passengers who can’t show proof refuse to get off at the next stop. “Unless passengers have been vaccinated or have recovered from a coronavirus infection, they must carry proof of a negative rapid test when using a mode of transportation,” the transport association stated. “The test must have been taken less than 24 hours ago at...

Two high profile trials concluded recently and in my opinion both verdicts were just. In the second the killers of Ahmaud Arbery were convicted of murder. I felt from the beginning that the killers were wrong and they deserved to be convicted. Subsequently and to his great credit, Marcus Arbery, the father of Ahmaud Arbery, crushed the basic racist premise of Black Lives Matter. He said“For real, all life matters. Not just black children, we don’t want to see nobody go through this.” and he added I don’t want to see no daddy to watch his kid get shot down...

"What we are seeing clinically in South Africa, and remember that I’m at the epicenter, that’s where I’m practicing, is extremely mild," Coetzee said during an interview with the BBC. A reader notes:From the beginning of the Trump administration charges of racism, white supremacy and xenophobia became the go to political weapon of the Democrats and their media allies. And it worked to a great extent. When Trump came out against illegal immigration it was called racist over and over and people believed it. When Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer and even Cesar Chavez had previously opposed illegal immigration the same people did not call it racist. But when Trump created travel bans for flights from China at the outset of the pandemic, it was deemed xenophobic. Now when...

Clothing company Levi Strauss is offering employees the opportunity to engage in a “fireside chat and Q&A” with a “racial trauma specialist” following the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse on November 19. The announcement came via email from Levi Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer Elizabeth Morrison. “With the news that Kyle Rittenhouse was not convicted in the shooting of three individuals – two of whom lost their lives – during racial justice protests last year, this is a difficult day for many. "The pain and trauma of race, identity and belief-based tragedies is a reality that many of us are...

The federal government will run out of money on Friday amid a jammed Senate schedule in December that may further delay the passage of the $1.9 trillion reconciliation package into next year. GREENWOOD, S.C. (AP) — Police responding to a fire alarm and the sound of gunshots at a South Carolina assisted living facility say a resident had placed several rounds of ammunition in a toaster. A small fire in the resident’s room was extinguished. The resident was found unconscious and taken to the hospital to be treated for apparent smoke inhalation. I get calls from state and federal officials all the time asking about how I would handle the pandemic. So I thought I'd make a substack article that they could all read and implement. OK, I was kidding about getting calls from public officials. It was a joke. No public official is going to call me asking for advice. They all get their orders from up top.But if I ever did get a call, here are some changes I would recommend. NOTE: This is not a complete list. Nor have a spent time refining it. It is just a collection...
