Sydney (AFP) – Climate change is the "overwhelming factor" driving the country's ever-more intense bushfires, Australian government scientists believe -- directly contradicting claims by the country's political leaders. In a peer-reviewed study, scientists at state agency CSIRO reviewed 90 years' worth of data and concluded climate change was the major influencing factor behind megafires like those that ravaged Australia in 2019-2020. The experts studied a range of fire risk factors -- from the amount of dead vegetation on the ground to moisture, weather and ignition conditions -- to see what could be driving catastrophic blazes. "While all eight drivers of...

It was a single 8.5 inch-by-11 inch piece of paper.

Lawyers for the hospital however, contend that Ng had been improving prior to the treatment. In early November, Judge Paul Fullerton had ordered the hospital to allow Dr. Alan Bain, who is not vaccinated against coronavirus, to come to the hospital to provide ivermectin treatments to Sun Ng, 71, a resident of Hong Kong, who was hospitalized with coronavirus on Oct. 14. In her new book, “Laptop from Hell,” Post columnist Miranda Devine reconstructs the Biden family’s quest for cash by using files left on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop. Sunday, she detailed how Hunter and his uncle Jim Biden entered into a deal with Chinese government-linked energy conglomerate CFEC, and contacted businessman Tony Bobulinski to run the enterprise. Here, Bobulinski meets “the big guy” — Joe Biden himself. Hunter Biden and his Uncle Jim were already waiting for Tony Bobulinski in the lobby bar of the Beverly Hilton when he arrived at 10 p.m. May 2, 2017. The Bidens had chosen a...

New op-ed from Wayne Root is going viral. It’s an interesting read, but highly unlikely to happen. Get Ready for President Hillary Clinton By Wayne Allyn Root Muhammad Ali said, “It ain’t bragging if you can back it up.” So, excuse me for bragging, but in my almost six years as a nationally syndicated radio and TV host, my predictions have been remarkably accurate. I’m not perfect, but I’m batting close to .990. It’s the best record of anyone in the media. I’m going to make another shocking prediction. Democrats are getting ready to install Hillary Clinton as president of...

The new Omicron variant poses a “very high” risk of infection that could have “severe consequences” globally, the World Health Organization warned Monday. The COVID-19 strain first detected in southern Africa is a “highly divergent variant with a high number of mutations… some of which are concerning and may be associated with immune escape potential and higher transmissibility,” the UN agency said. “The overall global risk related to the new variant … is assessed as very high,” it said, adding that Omicron “has an unprecedented number of spike mutations, some of which are concerning for their potential impact on the...

A new study touts the power of natural immunity to fight the worst effects of the coronavirus. The researchers, reported their results last week in the New England Journal of Medicine, examined 353,326 COVID-19 patients in the Arabian Peninsula nation of Qatar infected anywhere between Feb. 28, 2020, and April 28, 2021. The research EXCLUDED about 87,500 people who were vaccinated over the time span of the study. Out of the rest of the group studied, only 1,304 contracted COVID-19 again, with none requiring intensive care treatment for the disease, formally known as SARS-CoV-2. “In earlier studies, we assessed the...

President Vladimir Putin has said Zircon would be capable of flying at nine times the speed of sound and have a range of 1,000 kilometers (620 miles). Putin has emphasized that its deployment will significantly boost the capability...

The heavily mutated Omicron coronavirus variant is likely to spread internationally and poses a very high risk of infection surges that could have "severe consequences" in some places, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday. No Omicron-linked deaths had yet been reported, though further research was needed to assess its potential to resist vaccines and immunity induced by previous infections, it added. Anticipating increased case numbers as the variant, first reported last week, spreads, the U.N. agency urged its 194 member states to accelerate vaccination of high-priority groups. "Omicron has an unprecedented number of spike mutations, some of which...

Evasive remarks Sunday by Dr. Anthony Fauci regarding vaccine mandates for domestic air travel and more lockdowns in America make both of those possibilities a certainty, warns commentator Todd Starnes. "Everything is on the table," Fauci told Chuck Todd on NBC's "Meet the Press." "In other words, prepare for more lockdowns and be prepared to show your vaccine papers to board jetliners," Starnes wrote in a brief analysis of Fauci's statements. "The Democrats and Health Overlords are tyrants and they crave power. They know that the vast majority of the American people will do as they say," Starnes continued. "They...

He described it as “craziness” that will get “worse and worse.”

UK Civil servants have axed the word ‘Christmas’ from a proposed government campaign, for fear the term will offend minorities. British civil servants have apparently embraced their inner Scrooge, vetoing the use of the word ‘Christmas’ from being used in a coronavirus testing drive aimed at students, arguing that the use of the term runs the risk of offending minorities within the country. The campaign, which reportedly would have revolved around ministers using the slogan “Don’t take COVID home for Christmas,” is part of a larger government effort to limit the spread of the Chinese coronavirus after two cases of...
