[Catholic Caucus] Archbishop RocheFr Zed has done us all a service in publishing correspondence between Vincent Cardinal Nichols and Archbishop Arthur Roche concerning he implementation of Traditionis custodes. It is not easy to be optimistic about the future, as long as this calamitous pontificate survives. But more of that below. My first surprise was to read that, in Roche's view, the pre-conciliar Liturgy "was abrogated by Pope Saint Paul VI".Pope Benedict wrote, in Summorum Pontificum Article 1, that the Roman Missal as promulgated in 1962 was "never abrogated". In the accompanying Letter that he wrote to the World's Bishops, he iterated...

Ray Epps, a prominent member of the Oath Keepers, has been implicated as one of the “primary orchestrators” of the first breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. He has never been arrested for his role in the breach and is being protected by the FBI, according to independent media reports. Two citizens confronted Epps at his ranch in Arizona on Oct. 27 to inquire about his alleged role as a federal informant during the events of Jan. 6. Doing the job journalists are paid to do, one ended up being followed and questioned by the FBI, National File...

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said that Texas should secede if Democrats "fundamentally" destroy the U.S. but added that "he is not ready to give up on America yet." "If the Democrats end the filibuster, if they fundamentally destroy the country, if they pack the Supreme Court, if they make D.C. a state, if they federalize elections if they massively expand voter fraud there may come a point where it's hopeless," Cruz said while speaking at an event at Texas A&M last month. The Republican senator was responding to a question posed by a student in the crowd who asked him...

The New York State Gaming Commission on Nov. 8 awarded nine temporary mobile sports betting licenses. These mobile licenses signal a massive market change that will recapture millions of dollars in lost gaming revenue in New York. It will also eliminate the need for bettors to cross New Jersey’s border to place mobile sports bets.

Thousands gather outside Los Angeles City Hall Monday to protest the mandate for all city workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by Dec. 18. The vaccine requirements for city workers are meant to increase vaccination rates and stave off another deadly COVID-19 surge as the virus continues to circulate and the more-transmissible delta variant spreads

First lady Jill Biden and Surgeon General Vivek Murthy kicked off their campaign to encourage child coronavirus vaccinations Monday by visiting the first school to inoculate children against polio in McLean, Virginia. The administration is pushing to get children ages 5-11 vaccinated. The Associated Press states that 28 million children are eligible for the shots now that the Pfizer vaccine was approved.

A new poll from USA Today and Suffolk University released on Sunday contains a grim snapshot of public sentiment toward the Biden administration. President Joe Biden has been on a months-long slide toward historically poor polling numbers, but yesterday's USA Today/Suffolk poll was even worse for Vice President Kamala Harris. Biden's approval rating hit yet another a new low, this time at 38%, but Harris' dropped to 28%. A 51% majority of respondents said they disapprove of the job Harris is doing as VP. At this early stage of a modern presidency, Harris' numbers in the USA Today/Suffolk poll are...

I have been reluctant to comment on certain well-aired rumors about Joe Biden at international meetings, mainly because a lot of them seem to originate on Chinese "social media", which, hard to believe, is slightly more tightly controlled than American social media. However, this latest incident was big news over the weekend - and we do seem to have a witness, HRH The Duchess of Cornwall:An informed source has told The Mail on Sunday that Camilla was taken aback to hear Biden break wind as they made polite small talk at the global climate change gathering in Glasgow last week.'It...

Alyssa Farah, an ex-aide to former President Trump, says she's deeply concerned about him potentially running in 2024, believing that, given a second term, he would undermine democracy and "weaponize" the government against his political opponents. CNN's Jake Tapper said in a recent interview with Farah, who served as a White House communications director and assistant to the president, that Trump "challenged our institutions near to the breaking point," asking if she believed that he would try to impose "some sort of autocracy" if he returned to the Oval Office. "I think he absolutely would," she replied. "There were things...

To put this in perspective, all that a coup consists of, we have had or are having. We are living in a take over of tis nation and they continue to do what communists do to the people. The vote irregularities were never checked. State after state, and the media, gave the win to Biden the night of the election. We have sat on this since January. States in question have resisted audits. They are not interested in making the election a win for the Republican Party.. They were fine with a senile old man to sit in the Office...

A recent data released by ICO Analytics show Shiba Inu leading the charts with 22%, while Ethereum is distantly far with 8.1%. Bitcoin came at the third position with only 7.2%. Consumers’ short-term inflation expectations reached a record high in October, according to survey results released Monday by the Federal Reserve of New York. Heads of households surveyed by the New York Fed expected consumer prices to rise by a median of 5.7 percent over the next year, according to the bank’s October Survey of Consumer Expectations. The one-year inflation rate projected by consumers rose 0.4 percentage points since September and reached the highest level since the survey began in 2013. The median expectation for the inflation rate for the next three years stayed even at 4.2 percent, a record set...

The Las Vegas Raiders waived 2020 first-round pick Damon Arnette and have now cut ties with both first-round picks from that draft before the midpoint of their second season. General manager Mike Mayock called it a “painful decision” to release Arnette on Monday but said it was necessary in response to a social media post with Arnette brandishing a gun and threatening to kill someone. Arnette was drafted 19th overall with a pick acquired in the Khalil Mack trade despite what Mayock called “significant concerns” about his character. Arnette was rated lower on most draft rankings but the Raiders believed...

Last week, John Durham’s grand jury issued its third criminal indictment in the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. The person who was arrested may be obscure; the news may have been buried after Virginia’s bombshell election results; but Durham’s move is a big deal. It shows that the special counsel’s probe is methodically unraveling a huge conspiracy, seemingly engineered by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and implicating James Comey’s FBI, either as a willing participant or as utterly incompetent boobs. The latest indictment also damages the mainstream media, which is why so many news outlets have ignored or underplayed it. After all, they...

The House committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol sent a number of subpoenas Monday, including to top 2020 Trump campaign aides and the lawyer responsible for crafting the strategy of how the former president could seek to overturn the election results in Congress. Among the six subpoenas released is one for John Eastman, who drafted a memo advising the Trump campaign both to use supposed vice presidential authority to push back on election results and to get state legislatures to reject electors from certain states in order to deny President Biden a majority of the Electoral College...
