Sportsbooks will be taxed at 51%.

Nevada, on the other hand, is 6.75%.

The sports betting is going to get bigger and bigger and bigger until....

there are Black Sox scandals...or worse.

I prefer a bookie. Mine pays off next day, I trust him more, he doesn’t keep records after the deal is over and the juice is less. To each his own.

“...there are Black Sox scandals...or worse.”

In college and high school athletics, maybe - the pros make too much now.

Rothstein managed it because White Sox owner Charlie Comiskey was such a miser and the reserve clause kept players’ salaries down.

Most of the rest of the world has sports betting and cases of games being fixed have proven to rare...and the people usually get caught....

Fixing a game is a very difficult thing to do and people have a tendency to talk...

The one area where games could be fixed is thru officiating...

Most teams have a few superstars with ridiculous salaries, but there are some very talented players that are totally bribeable imho.

Check out Pete Alonso’s or Jeff McNeil’s salaries...both are way underpaid compared to their teammates.

If I was a professional gambler I might notice that.
