On this date in 1776, Revolutionary spy Nathan Hale was hanged by the British in Manhattan — allegedly uttering the immortal last words, “I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country.” Nathan Hale statuary (with bound feet and hands) ironically stationed at Washington D.C.’s Department of Justice. Like statues are at the Chicago Tribune building and the Yale University campus; dueling plaques in New York contend to mark the execution spot. Two years out of Yale when the Revolution broke out in 1775, the Connecticut-born Hale hitched onto the Continental Army and was directly...

Farmers and gun dealers are worried that the impending loss of freight options for firearms and ammunition could see people going without vital supplies or stockpiling ammo. Freight giant TNT Express told customers last month it would cease transporting firearms and ammunition within weeks and Australian-owned logistics company Northline soon followed suit. The Queensland Shooters Union has taken aim at what it described as a "highly irresponsible" move by TNT and Northline. “They did it, effectively, with very little notice to their long-term clients," southern Darling Downs farmer and union president Graham Park said. "They did it, I think, without...

When a disruptive technology like the blockchain and cryptocurrency starts generating enough attention and wealth to rise to the attention of Congress, legislators’ desire to regulate it and tap it for revenue frequently outpaces their understanding of how it works. Unfortunately, a last-minute rider attached to the infrastructure bill making its way through Congress provides us with a case study in the dangers of carelessly meddling in emerging technologies, and could potentially kill crypto innovation in the U.S. The haste with which the legislation was advanced was in this case a product of lawmakers desperately fumbling around for “pay-fors” to...

Today in America, there is no shortage of individuals who love "the lie" (2 Thess. 2:10-12). Whether one is conservative, progressive, liberal or a moderate (political or spiritual) all are quite receptive to a godless delusion and are willingly oblivious to the ETERNAL REALITIES of time and ETERNITY (John 3:16-17, Acts 4:12, Rom. 10:2-4, 3:23, 6:23, 1 John 4:10, Rev 20:11-15, Rev. 21, 22:1-5). There is no shortage of kool-aid out there to keep Americans confused, divided, and deceived! Today is like no other day in our history, for it is an EXPONENTIAL day, and fallen man is accelerating lawlessness...

It may not appear so to us, but the space between the stars isn't completely empty. Tenuous and not-so-tenuous clouds of gas and dust drift in the darkness. A region of space some 700 light-years away is a fascinating exception. There, among the constellations of Perseus and Taurus, astronomers have found a large, spherical void over 500 light-years in diameter. Around its perimeter are the Perseus and Taurus molecular clouds – dense clouds of cold gas and dust where stars form. It's called the Per-Tau Shell, and it seems to be the product of at least one giant supernova explosion...

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) has told colleagues that former President Trump has conceded in recent private conversations that Sen. Mitch McConnell (Ky.) “helped” him during his four years in office, even as the former president rails against the Republican leader in public. Two GOP senators told The Hill about the conversations Graham, who played golf with Trump over the weekend, has had with his GOP colleagues. One GOP senator described Graham as trying to mend fences between the two most powerful Republicans in the country, who have publicly warred throughout 2021.

Many Haitian migrants camped in a small Texas border town are being released in the United States, two U.S. officials said, undercutting the Biden administration’s public statements that the thousands in the camp faced immediate expulsion.

YOU KILLED PEOPLE.. An Iraq veteran gave George W. Bush a stark reminder this past weekend that although he’s now a liberal media darling, there are plenty of Americans who remember the lies that led to millions of deaths. Corporal Mike Prysner was captured on video launching into a tirade against Bush during a speech in Beverly Hills. “When are you going to apologize for the million Iraqis who are dead because you lied?” Prysner yelled at Bush. “You lied about weapons of mass destruction! You lied about connections to 9/11! You sent me to Iraq! You sent me to...

Former President George W. Bush is scheduled to hold a fundraiser for Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) next month, as the three-term congresswoman fights to keep her seat amid a campaign to oust her by former President Trump and his allies. The fundraiser — which will be Bush’s first campaign event for the 2022 midterms — is slated to take place in Dallas on Oct. 18, a source confirmed to The Hill. The event will be co-hosted by Karl Rove, a longtime Bush political adviser and someone who consulted with Trump during his 2020 reelection bid, in addition to former Sen....

Climate activist James Murdoch gave at least $1 million to a group fighting to undermine state oversight of elections. That same group also backed Big Tech censorship against former President Donald Trump. Murdoch — son of News Corporation Executive Chairman Rupert Murdoch, — funded several equally leftist causes during the 2020 election. His philanthropic organization — Quadrivium Foundation — gave at least $1 million to the Protect Democracy Project (PDP) according to its 2019 990. PDP is the sister organization of the left-wing United to Protect Democracy (UPD). In 2020, PDP filed a lawsuit on behalf of leftist organizations over...

Here is a link to an article from last year about a DARPA created product that will monitor your blood for Covid infection. It is a microchip that you will take under your skin to alert you at the first signs of infection. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/last-pandemic-science-military-60-minutes-2021-04-11/ It is not a stretch to believe that after the government mandated vaccines end up failing, the government will decide they need to mandate these implanted sensors "to keep us safe". This is my question for those that took the vaccine not believing they needed it for health reasons but rather for convenience, social pressure, job...

resident Biden’s vaccine mandate not only demonstrates a lack of statesmanship in a time of uncertainty, but also misunderstanding of the economic role and function of American businesses, entrepreneurs, and employees. The president’s mandate is both cynical and divisive. Had his advisors thought it within the letter of the law, he likely would have forced every American to be vaccinated. But even if a president had such power, “may” does not imply “should.” Much like the draft, having power over people doesn’t necessitate exercising it – especially on an issue as important and contentious as this one. Biden’s mandate is...

While Americans know that guns take many innocent lives every year, many don’t know that firearms also save them. On May 15, an attacker at an apartment complex in Fort Smith, Ark., fatally shot a woman and then fired 93 rounds at other people before a man killed him with a bolt-action rifle. Police said he “likely saved a number of lives in the process.” On June 30, a 12-year-old Louisiana boy used a hunting rifle to stop an armed burglar who was threatening his mother’s life during a home invasion. On July 4, a Chicago gunman shot into a...

Six years ago, Dan Price, the founder and CEO of credit-card processing company Gravity Payments. made waves when he announced that he was raising the firm's minimum salary to $70,000 for his 120 employees. To accommodate the change, Price slashed his own $1 million salary. In the following years, revenue soared, and staff had many more babies and bought more homes, Price told Insider. The Seattle-based company's starting wages used to be roughly $35,000, Price said. But for the company to thrive, he felt he needed to make sure all employees were making enough to look after themselves.
