Concerns grow over looming loss of firearm, ammunition freight options (How they are grabbing guns in Australia)

Farmers and gun dealers are worried that the impending loss of freight options for firearms and ammunition could see people going without vital supplies or stockpiling ammo. Freight giant TNT Express told customers last month it would cease transporting firearms and ammunition within weeks and Australian-owned logistics company Northline soon followed suit.

The Queensland Shooters Union has taken aim at what it described as a "highly irresponsible" move by TNT and Northline.

“They did it, effectively, with very little notice to their long-term clients," southern Darling Downs farmer and union president Graham Park said.

"They did it, I think, without any thought of how it affects not just businesses, but farmers and graziers who need these as a tool of trade." North Queensland firearms dealer Anthony Pagan said he had his work cut out for him trying to keep up with an influx of orders from people trying to beat the deadline.

"They're stockpiling," he said.

"They're trying to get what they need for the coming year because they don't know, with stock availability and with freight, when they're going to be able to source the things they need for their day-to-day work.

Police and government agents have guns.
They live around “normal” people.
Take their guns and ammo.

I ran into this situation building in Australia when I was visiting there.

It was already very difficult for gun stores to keep a stock of ammunition and reloading supplies in rural areas. The regulations on transport and storage, combined with private carriers unwilling or unable to ship ammunition and reloading supplies made the supply chain very vulnerable.

The reason Biden is getting cozy with Australia and the UK is is becuase he envies the social control those countries have. His plan is to make the US the same.

They are already doing a trial run of liquor rationing in PA. Get the sheep used to rations.

Rural Australians should stop shipping food. Two can play that game.

So that’s the strategy on all points “operation chokehold” was just a test run.

Regulate the banks to refuse to do business with your political opponents.

Regulate the shipping companies to refuse to do business with your political opponents.

This is WW3. Except it’s a global civil war.

Would I be mistaken in thinking that UPS is the only major American shipping company that will handle ammo, powder or primers?

Who hold the major blocks of stock in UPS? Inquiring minds.....

I could see it as a cross between 'Cannonball Run' and 'Mad Max', running weapons and ammo out into the remote areas.

Add in the 'Road Warrior' with hordes attacking the trucks of carrier who refuse to ship weapons and ammo. Those who support tyranny are tyrants themselves.

UPS is the only one I know of (for less than truckload quantities). And even they are a gigantic pain in the butt to deal with; the last time I shipped ammo, the local UPS guy refused to accept the package, until I got someone at the UPS corporate level on the phone, to introduce the local employee to his own company's existing rules & procedures...
