I’ve been watching documentary filmmaker Ken Burns’ classic series The Civil War , and I’m loving it! Since coming to the South, my interest in the horrific fight between Americans has increased dramatically. I’ve also read Bill O’Reilly’s / Martin Dugard’s book Killing Lincoln, which I also enjoyed immensely. Watching The Civil War, I heard Frederick Douglass quoted many times, which piqued my interest too, so now I’m also reading his autobiography! I definitely highly recommend this one. Too many have white-washed Slavery with an image of happy slaves joyfully singing spirituals. This is the other side, from the perspective...

During an interview on One America News Network "Tipping Point," Johns was asked by host Kara McKinney:

WASHINGTON—A report on the origins of Covid-19 by a U.S. government national laboratory concluded that the hypothesis claiming the virus leaked from a Chinese lab in Wuhan is plausible and deserves further investigation, according to people familiar with the classified document. The study was prepared in May 2020 by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California and was drawn on by the State Department when it conducted an inquiry into the pandemic’s origins during the final months of the Trump administration. It is attracting fresh interest in Congress now that President Biden has ordered that U.S. intelligence agencies report to...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is blasting Vice President Kamala Harris for telling illegal immigrants to not come to the United States amid a record surge in illegal border crossings — calling the veep’s comments “disappointing.” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) offered the rebuke in a series of tweets Monday evening, retweeting a video of the vice president discouraging illegal migration during her trip to Guatemala. “I want to be clear to folks in this region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border: Do not come, do not come,” Harris said while speaking to reporters at a press conference...

A recent Associated Press story highlights blowback from the recent wolf hunt conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). A contentious debate ensued when the scheduled hunt was moved up to February from November 2021. A Wisconsin judge broke the logjam ordering the DNR to proceed on schedule with the hunt. The agency brought the ongoing hunt to a premature halt after two days, when the predicted take of 119 wolves reached 216. Many more wolves were out there than anyone thought beforehand. AP avoids informing readers why the gray wolf should not have been enabled to reclaim...

Being labeled a “conspiracy theorist” by those using the term as a pejorative has become commonplace for me. The funny part is I was railing against other conspiracy theorists not too long ago, back in my “normie” days when I still thought there was a chance the system could be fixed with enough information getting out to the masses.I’ll be labeled a conspiracy theorist again for this article despite the fact that it’s 100% true. Much of it is demonstrable. The rest is informed speculation, which is to say we know it’s true without having the clearance to prove it...

VP tells interviewer 'I don't understand the point that you're making' when asked about why she hasn't visited borderVice President Kamala Harris falsely claimed that "we've been to the border" when pressed on why she has not yet visited the southern border after being tasked by President Biden to handle the "root causes" of migration. Yesterday we reported that Shaye Moss was subpoenaed in Georgia for her activities in the 2020 election in Fulton County. Now it’s her mother’s turn, Ruby Freeman. Over the weekend it was reported that Ruby Freeman’s daughter Shaye Moss, who was also Ruby’s boss during the election counting process in Fulton County, Georgia, was subpoenaed. Shaye Moss was famous for kicking everyone out of the room where votes were counted in Fulton County and telling observers to go home. Then Shaye and others including Ralph Jones and her mother Ruby dragged hidden boxes of ballots out from underneath tables and...

"The forgotten man and woman" propelled Donald Trump to his shocking electoral victory in 2016. Understanding the perspective of these voters is essential regardless of one's political perspective. My February 17, 2017 lecture at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York:

The world is entering a new era of warfare, with artificial intelligence taking center stage. AI is making militaries faster, smarter and more efficient. But if left unchecked, it threatens to destabilize the world. An AI arms race is already underway. That's the blunt warning from Germany's foreign minister, Heiko Maas. "We're right in the middle of it. That's the reality we have to deal with," Maas told DW, speaking in a new DW documentary, "Future Wars — and How to Prevent Them." It's a reality at the heart of the struggle for supremacy between the world's greatest powers. "This...

“In an unlikely but conceivable turn of events, what if that scientist becomes infected with the virus, which leads to an outbreak and ultimately triggers a pandemic?” Anthony Fauci penned these words in a 2012 paper, long before the COVID-19 outbreak, about gain of function research. “Scientists working in this field might say — as indeed I have said — that the benefits of such experiments and the resulting knowledge outweigh the risks.”The benefits outweigh the risks. For research involving scientists extracting viruses from the wild and engineering them to infect humans in order to study potential therapeutics, Fauci determined...

The administration of President Joe Biden confirmed on Monday he has scheduled a meeting with Islamist Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for June 14, on the sidelines of the NATO summit in Brussels that day. The meeting with the fellow head of state is particularly notable given that it will occur before a scheduled meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin on June 16, the first between the two since Biden was inaugurated president. The White House on Monday pointed disregarded a request by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky – whose nation Russia has torn into pieces through illegal colonization and covert...

In the 1964 presidential campaign, Republican candidate Barry Goldwater had a slogan: "In your heart you know he's right." That was aimed at deflecting the stereotype about Goldwater and Republicans in general that they were an uncaring lot. It is a smear that still works to some extent for modern Democrats. In his return to political campaigning last Saturday, former president Donald Trump channeled Goldwater when he claimed vindication for many of the positions he took during last year's presidential campaign and in the four years of his administration. Speaking to a gathering of North Carolina Republicans in Greenville, Trump...

'We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the U.S., Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan, and the Taliban,' Omar continued, lumping in the U.S. and Israel with terrorist organizations.

Capitol Police and intelligence agencies including the FBI knew Trump supporters were threatening to storm the Capitol and wanted to target Democrat lawmakers weeks before January 6, but didn't act, a bipartisan Senate Report has revealed. Law enforcement was aware of a plot to breach the Capitol, that maps of the building's tunnel system had been shared online, and that supporters were planning to bring guns to D.C., but failed to act or share information with uniformed cops. The report fell short of labelling the riot an insurrection and gave no mention of whether Trump motivated protesters or was involved...

Gangs raided multiple police stations for weapons in Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince, in deadly attacks over the weekend as violence between armed groups flared, with intense conflict in one southern neighborhood forcing thousands to flee. The gangs have proliferated in the poorest country in the Americas over the past few years during a period of political unrest and growing economic misery. Armed groups increasingly outgun Haiti's security forces and fight with one another over territory. The United Nations said on Sunday it was "profoundly worried" about the impact of the growing violence on civilians, recalling similar incidents over the past year...
