BURLESON, Texas (AP) — Authorities say a Texas police officer was shot multiple times during a traffic stop and police are searching for suspects. The shooting happened at about 4:15 a.m. Wednesday in Burleson, about 45 miles southwest of Dallas. Police say the officer was taken to a Fort Worth hospital and his condition wasn’t immediately known.

Hostess Brand on Saturday issued a voluntary recall of certain single-serve SnoBalls due to an undeclared allergen, according to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration alert. The alert claims that some SnoBalls pastries were manufactured in the wrong packaging. Hostess said SnoBalls snack cakes made on March 13, 2021, were packaged in Chocolate CupCakes, and it does not list coconut as an ingredient. Hostess said the recalled items UPC is 888109010096. WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — Former Brooklyn Center police officer Kim Potter, 48, was charged with second-degree manslaughter Wednesday in the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright. Wright, 20, was killed Sunday during a traffic stop. If convicted, Potter faces up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. The news was broken by the Star Tribune, which is reporting that Potter will be represented by attorney Earl Gray. Potter was charged by the Washington County Attorney's Office after the case was handed over from Hennepin County in order to avoid any conflict of interest.
