Blinken and Sullivan try to talk tough but miss the mark. The Biden administration held its first face-to-face meeting with the Chinese regime last week. The American side was represented by Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken and Jake Sullivan, President Biden’s national security adviser. Their counterparts were Chinese Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs Yang Jiechi and Foreign Minister Wang Yi. While most of the discussions in Anchorage, Alaska were held behind closed doors, the public open session set the table with an exchange of insults that resembled an ugly food fight. Blinken and...

Oddly enough, no plans have been announced for a show lampooning Muhammad. Not content with glorifying pedophilia in Cuties, Netflix in season three of the animated Paradise P.D. features an episode that, according to NewsBusters, is not only devoted to “attacking gun rights,” but was also “blasphemous against Christianity, featuring a video of a gun-wielding Jesus that turns into a porno.” Great, Netflix! Edgy! Courageous! Cutting edge! Stunning and brave! Now, when is your cartoon show featuring, say, a machete-wielding Muhammad who takes up with a nine-year-old Aisha? If we had any actual journalists, they would be asking Netflix officials...

Below is a transcript of Joe Biden's first State of the Union Address: President Obama, President Harris, Madame Speaker, members of Congress, the senator who was a Mormon, General. . . the guy who runs that outfit, Dr. Anthony Fauci, CEOs Zuckerberg, Dorsey and Bezos, his highness Bill Gates, and fellow Americans -- I speak tonight on the state of the union and guess what, here’s the deal: First, I want to recognize all those who took part in the most extensive system of voter fraud in American history. Without your hard work and dedication, Joe Biden would not be...

Leaked documents from the FTC's 2012 investigation of Google show exactly what is wrong with the state of American antitrust enforcement. Eight years ago, the Federal Trade Commission had the chance to face down Google — the giant of Silicon Valley whose power now alters the free flow of information at a global scale, distorts market access for businesses large and small, and changes the nature of independent thought in ways the world has never experienced. Instead, the FTC blinked — and blinked hard, choosing to close the investigation in early 2013. A remarkable leak to Politico of agency documents...

Wearing masks and social distancing could go on for “years”, says Public Health England’s chief of immunisation. Dr Mary Ramsey claimed on Sunday that social distancing and other practices like wearing a face-covering would go on for “quite a long period of time”.

The Biden Administration last week set a new historical record by threatening sanctions against Germany, India, Russia and China in the space of 72 hours. Germany and India are, or at least were, American allies. Washington is angry at Germany for building a natural gas pipeline with Russia, at India for purchasing a Russian air defense system, at Russia for mistreatment of President Putin’s opponents and at China for treatment of its Uighur Muslim minority. None of Washington’s recent threats is consistent with identifiable policy objectives. On the contrary, recent outbursts from Biden and his cabinet will cement a Sino-Russian...

The left has become really clever at falsely associating conservatism with horrible things, such as racism, greed and violence. Under President Trump, they began a push to associate patriotism with bad forms of nationalism, like fascism and Nazism. It was easy to do because nationalism has multiple definitions; one sounds like patriotism, but another sounds like fascism or Nazism. Trump made patriotism a showy part of his platform, with his Make America Great Again slogan and massive amounts of red, white and blue decorations at campaign events. But that’s really all it was. There wasn’t any specific agenda associated with...

The bizarre story, with some truly crazy visuals, emerged from Nizhnevartovsk in Western Siberia this week. Locals were puzzled after they witnessed a brown bear roaming the streets downtown in the morning. The animal was very out of place, given it’s a pretty big city with some 280,000 residents and no forests nearby. The footage, caught on camera by eyewitnesses, shows a man clearly aware of the bear while anxiously talking to somebody on the phone as it gets ever closer. After quite some chase, the man then makes a successful break by crossing the road and setting up his...

Following the November 3 election and subsequent January 6 protest at the Capitol, the current regime set out to eliminate political opposition by casting them as “white supremacists” and “domestic extremists.” They intend to use the legal authorities, tactics, and techniques that were previously employed against Al Qaeda and ISIS against those ordinary Americans who refuse to accept the ruling elite’s political ideology. Simply put, the most deadly counterterrorism machine from the world’s most powerful country is coming for you. You, ordinary American, are the target. Now is not the time for impotent tough talk and posturing with weapons at...

“Who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men" (Philippians 2:6-7). Jesus is the role model of the suffering servant. Jesus not only gave up His divine privileges when He emptied Himself, but He also became a servant. For us, this is the next phase in His supreme example of humility. Paul’s phrase “the form of a bond-servant” can also be translated “the essence of a slave.” Christ’s servanthood was not just...

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem Psalm 11Psalm 11 For the director of music. Of David. 1 In the Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me: “Flee like a bird to your mountain. 2 For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart. 3 When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?” 4 The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them. 5 The...

Department of Homeland Security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Sunday the Biden administration would release video “footage” of the conditions of the inside of migrant detention facilities to assuage concerns amid its continued refusal to allow members of the press inside. “Let’s not forget that we’re in the midst of a pandemic and we are focused on our operations, executing our operations in a crowded border patrol facility where hundreds of vulnerable migrant children are located,” Mayorkas said. He made the comments during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” when asked about the repeated calls to let members of the press...

Photo courtesy Matt Wasmundt On Friday, 15 November of 2020, Matt Wasmundt was tired after a long day of classes at his indoor range, just off Highway 29, three miles west of Wausau, Wisconsin. The range Zingers and Flingers is close to the geographical center of the state. There had been nearly a hundred students. The classes would continue the following morning. Deer season would start a week later. Many hunters would be coming into the range to zero their rifles. The establishment has a class three license. They do a brisk business selling suppressors/silencers.Instead of putting all the guns away,...

Get a fresh refill of...

WASHINGTON, Thursday, March 21. THE QUESTION OF FORT SUMPTER. A report was received here, to-day, that the vessel sent to Charleston was not sent to bring away the troops from Fort Sumpter, but contained supplies and reinforcements for Major ANDERSON. The news created quite an excitement, but soon subsided when the report was contradicted. There is evidently no truth in the matter. Up to last evening no orders had been issued. The policy of the Administration is, however, to keep its movements a profound secret until its decisions are executed. THE SOUTHERN COMMISSIONERS. The report that the Administration and the...

BERLIN (AP) – German authorities are expected to extend lockdown measures again on Monday and possibly tighten some restrictions as they face a steady rise in new coronavirus infections. Chancellor Angela Merkel and the country’s 16 state governors, who in highly decentralized Germany are responsible for imposing and lifting restrictions, are holding a videoconference nearly three weeks after they agreed a several-step plan paving the way to relax some rules.

Authorities in Miami Beach are facing allegations of racism after extending an 8pm curfew and state of emergency in response to largely black crowds of spring break revelers, who officials say are 'overwhelming' the city with unruly behavior. Miami Beach police have arrested more than 1,000 people in the past month, and faced criticism after using pepper balls and sounds cannons on the crowd on Saturday night, which black leaders called 'unnecessary force'. 'I was very disappointed,' Stephen Hunter Johnson, chairman of Miami-Dade's Black Affairs Advisory Committee, told the Miami Herald. 'I think when they're young black people [on South...

A 68-year-old man Asian man has been violently assaulted on the New York City subway by an assailant shouting racial insults, in the latest shocking incident of anti-Asian hate. Suspect Marc Mathieu, 36, of the Bronx was arrested on Sunday and charged with assault after NYPD Transit cops recognized his image on a wanted poster. The rumor about President Trump launching his own social media platform appears to be true.Former President Donald Trump is planning to return to social media with his own social network, according to spokesman Jason Miller."I do think that we're going to see President Trump returning to social media, probably in about two or three months here, with his own platform."And because President Donald J. Trump never does anything small you can anticipate the social platform will be just the first building block in the creation of a media empire. I’ve given a great deal of thought as to what he...
