LONDON - British scientists are trying to establish whether the rapid spread in southern England of a new variant of the virus that causes COVID-19 is linked to key mutations they have detected in the strain, they said on Tuesday. The mutations include changes to the important “spike” protein that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus uses to infect human cells, a group of scientists tracking the genetics of the virus said, but it is not yet clear whether these are making it more infectious. “Efforts are under way to confirm whether or not any of these mutations are contributing to increased transmission,”...

Arguably, President Trump should be winning the Nobel Peace Prize for his amazing efforts to get large sections of the Arab world to normalize relations with Israel. But that is never going to happen. Morocco follows Bahrain, Sudan and the United Arab Emirates in setting aside generations of hostilities toward the Jewish state, part of a major foreign policy effort of the Trump administration. New York TimesEuropean and American elites despise him for this. They did not want peace in the Mideast. They wanted Israel to be dismembered. And just how was this done? It was effected by moving the...

Kamala Harris remembered the December 14, 2012, Sandy Hook Elementary attack by pushing gun control “to keep our children safe.” The “common-sense gun safety” being pushed for the Biden administration includes a ban on the sale of firearms which Democrats label “assault weapons,” as well as a ban on “high capacity” magazines, and the implementation of universal background checks. These types of gun controls have been pursued by Democrats like Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) at the federal level for years and they have been in place in New York since 2013.

Psalm 91 (1)"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide ("lodge") under the shadow of the Almighty." (2)"I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God, in him will I trust." (3)"Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence." (4)"He shall cover thee with his feather, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." (5)"Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;" (6)"Nor for...

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated President-elect Joe Biden on winning the US presidential election — after weeks of holding out until the vote was officially confirmed. “For my part, I am ready for interaction and contact with you,” Putin’s message for the former vice president said, according to a statement released by the Kremlin on Tuesday. The message came a day after the Electoral College affirmed Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election on Nov. 3. The Russian president previously said he would not recognize Biden as the president-elect until the results were “confirmed in a legitimate, legal way.” In...

It seems like every two years, you hear that this election is the most important election of our lifetimes, but this time it’s not a stretch to say that. If the Democrats win Georgia’s two Senate seats on Jan. 5, the American Dream — one that’s fostered unrivaled prosperity through democracy and freedom over the last 244 years — could come to an abrupt end. If you don’t know much about them, Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are more than just far-left Democrats. Of course, they want to raise our taxes, enact the Green New Deal and socialize medicine. Like...

Attorney General William Barr announced his resignation on Monday in a letter to President Trump. In the letter, Barr massaged Trump's ego and announced he "will spend the next week wrapping up a few remaining matters important to the administration, and depart on December 23." The Wall Street Journal reported over the last few days that Barr personally ordered the DOJ to keep the Hunter Biden investigation under wraps. From the WSJ on Monday, "Barr Kept Hunter Biden Probes From Public to Avoid Election Politics": Attorney General William Barr, in the weeks before November's election, instructed prosecutors and senior colleagues...

During the pandemic, arbitrary regulations and lockdowns that have forced small businesses to close and kids to remain out of school have had serious consequences. Pandemic-induced depression and suicide is a serious problem that seems to have been overlooked by many of the leaders imposing lockdowns.Meanwhile, religious worship was deemed nonessential by some Democrat leaders during the pandemic. And houses of worship were forced to remain closed, allegedly out of health concerns. According to some Democrats, you could social distance in a Walmart, restaurant, or even an airplane, but not a church or a synagogue—so they ordered them closed. But a...

Governor Larry Hogan (R-MD) said Monday on CNN that Republicans who continue dispute the results of last month’s presidential election are embarrassing the party. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Governor Hogan, you have long acknowledged the reality of what happened on election day. We just heard that several of your fellow Republicans on Capitol Hill continue to deny this reality. Is anything going to change after the electoral college? Will we see Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell at least acknowledge that this is over, according to the electoral college?”

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Supreme Court on Monday rejected an appeal from Kansas that sought to revive a law requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. A federal appeals court had declared the law unconstitutional. Kansas had been the only state to require people to show a physical document such as a birth certificate or passport when applying to register to vote. The issue is distinct from state laws that call for people to produce driver licenses or other photo IDs to cast a vote in person. The law was championed by former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach,...

Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner scolded Marie Harf after the liberal pundit took a shot at the talk show Outnumbered for not hyping COVID death numbers to what she views as an acceptable level. Harf began by running defense for Democrats engaged in stifling, Draconian, and unconstitutional lockdown orders as a means to combating the pandemic. Justifying those edicts, in her view, is the death toll from the virus. “Yeah, I mean, we are 43 minutes into the show and we haven’t mentioned the 3,000 Americans that died yesterday, more than on 9/11 and every day for a while we...

It looks very bad for the lawsuits seeking to Stop the Steal. That doesn't mean that there wasn't massive fraud. The evidence for that is strong, regardless of the legal sophistry used by courts to deny relief. But while those efforts continue, one more election looms. At this point, we must turn our attention to preventing a repeat of the Georgia fraud this January. In Georgia, Democrats will put everything they've done on steroids if we let them. Obviously, a Court decision to block Consent Decree will go a long way, restoring proper signature verification on mail-in ballots. But even...

The first inkling Americans had that there was something going on with voting machines came when Antrim County, Michigan admitted that its computer had a "glitch" and gave 6,000 Trump votes to Biden. County officials quickly backtracked, calling it "human error," but it was too late. The computer fraud cat was out of the bag. Now, thanks to a judge pushing past the Michigan secretary of state's effort to suppress information, we can finally see the preliminary forensics report on Antrim County's Dominion systems. This post summarizes the highlights.Russell Ramsland, of Allied Security Operations Group, LLC (ASOG), wrote the report....

Elections are often a study of something in between getting the election results we deserve and politicians misreading why their side won a big race, especially if it is a narrow win. In times of turmoil, voters often choose with their hearts and not their heads. And in case you haven't noticed, for the past two decades, we have been in a constant state of turmoil, with our election results reflecting that instability. One could argue that the beginning of the technology revolution 20 years ago began the modern swings in our electoral politics. The impact has become very similar...

A hack. A raid. A series of curious events that all seem to tie back to one company: Dominion Voting Systems. The company at the heart of voter fraud allegations across the country and particularly in contested states may have been exposed despite all of their best efforts. How? Through SolarWinds Orion. Why? Because the Russians, God, or both are helping us out. That’s the premise. Here are the facts. SolarWinds Orion is the company whose security software was hacked this weekend, allegedly by Russians. Major but conspicuously mundane companies and government agencies were among those affected. They were raided today...

My ten-year-old kid doesn’t go to school, doesn’t play sports, takes no dance or theater or music classes. We never go to the movies. We don’t go to restaurants, and I try to limit his contact with any other human beings. This is my choice as a parent, yet that doesn’t stop people from mocking and judging my parental prerogative. It’s like they think there is only one right way to raise a kid. Such arrogance. People keep telling me that these choices are going to have lasting, long-term, negative effects on my child. Come on, man. Kids are adaptable....

"'Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever, and the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Thy God, hath anointed Thee with the oil of gladness above Thy companions'" (Heb. 1:8-9). As the eternal God and King, Christ loves righteousness and hates lawlessness. In these days it's difficult for us as Christians to be totally supportive of our governmental leaders when we see so much of what God calls righteous compromised or ridiculed. But the King of kings—Christ Himself—is the only leader who has a perfectly right attitude toward...
