“Coercing the entire population is morally and constitutionally indefensible in a country which is not yet a totalitarian state, like China”.. A British Supreme Court judge has slammed the UK government as ‘control freaks’ for attempting to control people’s lives under the guise of COVID, and labeled it “morally and constitutionally indefensible” to define what freedoms the public should and shouldn’t have. In an op-ed published Sunday, Lord Sumption noted that the “debate about whether to let us have a family Christmas perfectly sums up what is wrong with this Government’s handling” of the crisis. Sumption wrote that there are...

Several top U.S. media outlets have taken millions of dollars from the CCP-controlled media organization. 2:07 An English-language newspaper run by the Chinese Communist Party has in recent months funneled millions of dollars in printing and advertising expenses to several U.S. media companies, according to a news report. The report in the Daily Caller is based on a recent Foreign Agents Registration Act filing. The filing to the Justice Department appears to show China Daily paid the media companies close to $2 million dollars from May to October. The Wall Street Journal received just over $85,000, while the Los Angeles...

'But whether it’s slavery or abortion, the philosophy is the same: the sinister and un-american belief that NOT ALL humans are persons' November 23, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – He was personally opposed to slavery. But supported your right to buy slaves. This was the position of Illinois Senator Stephen Douglas who lost his bid for President to Abraham Lincoln in 1860. Douglas believed it was the “right” of each state to determine whether they would enslave blacks or not. How did Douglas reach this evil position? Well, Douglas had assumed the premises of positive law, which suggests that rights come from...

WASHINGTON - The federal government recognized President-elect Joe Biden as the “apparent winner” of the Nov. 3 election, formally starting the transition of power after President Donald Trump spent weeks testing the boundaries of American democracy. Trump relented after suffering yet more legal and procedural defeats in his seemingly futile effort to overturn the election with baseless claims of fraud. Trump still refused to concede and vowed to continue to fight in court after General Services Administrator Emily Murphy gave the green light Monday for Biden to coordinate with federal agencies ahead of his Jan. 20 inauguration. But Trump did...

HOWLAND TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Tim Ryan says there is a certain kind of letdown you feel when you lose your home county -- even in an election that you win. "It certainly does sting," he said bluntly. The former presidential candidate won his 10th congressional race over Republican Christina Hagan to represent the five counties of Mahoning, Portage, Stark, Summit and Trumbull that make up the legendary "valley" by 7 percentage points. But he fell short by 1.5 points in the place he calls home. "It was a tough year for a lot of moderate Democrats around here and around...

National Security Adviser-designate Jake Sullivan was key figure in Clinton email probe; Secretary of State designate Tony Blinken faced scrutiny in Hunter Biden business deals. Joe Biden reached deep into the Obama Administration's alumni for his prospective Cabinet – should he be certified the winner of the 2020 election – and in so doing also threatened to resurrect old scandals like Hillary Clinton's email debacle and the Hunter Biden influence controversy. Biden on Monday announced he wanted as his national security advisor former State Department official Jake Sullivan, who at 43 years old would be the youngest in history. Biden...

Lawyer Sidney Powell said in a statement Sunday evening via Gen. (Ret.) Michael Flynn that said she understood the Trump campaign’s statement that she is not part of the campaign’s legal team and she is proceeding to file an “epic” lawsuit this week. After Twitter suspended Powell for 12 hours, Flynn posted her statement on his Parler account, which said: STATEMENT FROM SIDNEY POWELL TO “WE THE PEOPLE” I agree with the campaign’s statement that I am not part of the campaign’s legal team. I never signed a retainer agreement or sent the President or the campaign a bill for...

November 23, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – Twitter suspended unofficial Trump lawyer Sidney Powell for twelve hours over the weekend over a link she shared about voting machine software companies alleged to be involved in presidential election irregularities. The suspension happened amid sudden confusion over Powell’s actual role in President Donald Trump’s efforts to contest the preliminary election results. Breitbart reports that former Trump National Security Advisor Gen. Michael Flynn, whom Powell previously represented, confirmed the news of the Twitter suspension Sunday. The reason for Powell’s suspension has not been confirmed, but appears to have stemmed from her sharing a link to...

Hours after President Trump approved the official transition process for Joe Biden, he took to Twitter to say the decision does not mean he is conceding, despite many interpreting it that way. “What does GSA being allowed to preliminarily work with the Dems have to do with continuing to pursue our various cases on what will go down as the most corrupt election in American political history? We are moving full speed ahead,” he said, pointing to allegations of voter fraud. "Will never concede to fake ballots & 'Dominion,'" the president added, though Dominion has disputed claims that vote switching...

We are at war with enemies of liberty, domestic and foreign. Domestic enemies are now pressing relentlessly. Why shrink from the word “enemy,” the simple definition of which is “one seeking to injure, overthrow, or confound an opponent.” Who other are these warmakers? This war is much more than disputes over fraudulent elections, though that would be cause enough. The Democratic Party is a means. The new war has been imagined, developed, and phased in over decades by the left. It’s unconventional, asymmetric, and cunning. It’s insidious, and has been about stealth and infiltration more so than outright confrontation --...

When a federal judge rendered his opinion in President Donald Trump's effort to challenge the outcome of the 2020 election by alleging fraud in Pennsylvania, the ruling not only dismissed the case, it was dismissive of the president's legal team. Judge Matthew Brann, a Republican, described the legal case Saturday as a "Frankenstein's monster" that was "haphazardly stitched together." The last time a presidential campaign became embroiled in a protracted legal battle, in 2000, some of the nation's most prestigious lawyers signed on with then-Gov. George W. Bush and Vice President Al Gore. The case catapulted many of them to...

The 1992 election cycle was dubbed by the media as “the year of the woman,” and Democrats set about getting that tattooed on their lower backs to commemorate the election of a group of female lawmakers, mostly Democrats, to Congress. The left drooled over it, “think pieces” were written about how this was a direct result of the Supreme Court nomination fight over Justice Clarence Thomas and the wild, false allegations of sexual harassment by Anita Hill. It perfectly fit a liberal narrative at the time, and still, that Republicans are somehow anti-women, so the election results that year were...

Having your win stolen blatantly and yet concede it without a fight is not a sign of the moral high ground. Instead, it is a death sentence to your political future. The Republican establishment is trying hard to convince President Trump to concede. Some of the so-called conservative pundits are eager to assure their viewers and readers that now is the time to look forward to 2022 and 2024. There is only one perfect label for them: cowards! There is massive evidence showing that the Left have committed the greatest election theft in history. Anyone with an open mind can...

Rudy Giuliani, President Trump’s personal lawyer, explained why the Trump campaign released a statement on Sunday distancing itself from attorney Sidney Powell. “I think it’s because we’re pursuing two different theories,” Giuliani told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs. “Our theory of the case to get to the Supreme Court, now in four places, and it’s soon going to be in two others, and there will be an overall lawsuit, is basically misconduct of the election by state officials in at least five or six different states in which the misconduct of the election involved deprivation of constitutional rights for the...

What was Joe Biden thinking for his choice of climate-change ambassador extraordinaire? John Kerry is one of the biggest gasbags in American politics, singlehandedly responsible for massive amounts of terrible emissions. People have been laughing at him since Yale, when Doonesbury creator Garry Trudeau was zinging his pretentious, vacuous self-promotion. We look forward to the anti-carbon lectures from a guy who travels the globe on private jets and luxury yachts. Set aside his deer-in-the-headlights loss as Democrats’ presidential nominee in 2004. He was a joke as secretary of state under President Barack Obama - off on his yacht during Egypt’s...

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Meijer is limiting liquor purchases as Michiganders gear up for the Thanksgiving holiday. The grocery retailer is limiting spirit purchases to two bottles of each item, WPBN/WGTU reports. The limit doesn’t apply to beer, wine or giftsets. Meijer spokesperson Frank Guglielmi told the TV station the move is meant to insure against shortages that would leave some shoppers without ingredients for their holiday cocktails.

Long ago Mitch McConnell vowed to leave no federal judicial vacancy unfilled by the end of Trump’s first term. That promise is close to being kept despite Democrat and media outcry. Mitch McConnell long ago promised to leave no federal court vacancy unfilled by the end of Trump’s first term. Depending on what happens in the next three weeks, this may be Trump’s only term and McConnell has continued moving judicial nominations through to confirmation. Needless to say, Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) are not happy, particularly as Republican’s move to fill a vacancy on the First...

President-elect Joe Biden will give his first post-election TV interview to Lester Holt of NBC News, the network announced Monday. The interview will air Tuesday at 6:30 pm on “NBC Nightly News.” Additional clips will air Wednesday on the “Today” show and cable channel MSNBC. Holt hosted a controversial campaign town hall event with Biden last month that critics slammed as an “infomercial” for the Democratic candidate. Two of the “undecided” voters who asked Biden questions at the Holt-moderated town hall had appeared on MSNBC in August to support Biden. It’s unclear when exactly the interview will be conducted.
