By February 2019, Judith had become unbearably anxious. The 28-year-old Pacific coast native’s due date had come and gone. Just two days shy of 45 weeks pregnant, her belly was stretched so far that it shined, her body was swollen, and nearly everything — from her toes to her hair — ached. For women who haven’t gone into labor by 42 weeks, just about every medical and birth professional recommends induction — a jump-start to labor from medicines that ripen the cervix or contract the uterus. But Judith, an artist and freethinker who believes in “all that hippy jazz,” had...

In a speech delivered to crowds at the world’s largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad city upon his arrival in India, Trump talked about India and the United States defending their “sovereignty and security” together and announced that the two nations would sign a defense deal worth $3 billion on Feb. 25. Addressing a cheering crowd of over 100,000 people, Trump said on Monday: “I am pleased to announce that tomorrow our representatives will sign deals to sell over $3 billion in the absolute finest, state-of-the-art military helicopters and other equipment to the Indian armed forces.” Experts told The Epoch Times...

It looks like the liberal media's panic at the prospect of Bernie Sanders winning the Democrat nomination is leading MSM members to offer some hare-brained analysis about him. The syndrome was on stunning display this morning on both CNN and MSNBC. On CNN's New Day, co-host Alisyn Camerota actually fretted that Sanders is too "nuanced" to take on President Trump. What? Sure, Alisyn. Because nothing says "nuance" like literally preaching "revolution" while thrusting a socialist fist in the air! Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

... If you heard just about any Bernie Sanders speech from 2016, you heard his denouncing millionaires and billionaires and big banks — or, if you prefer to imitate him, it was “thah millionayuhs and thah billionayuhs and thah big banks.” From his opening announcement speech, Sanders made it clear that the growing number of millionaires in the United States was “something profoundly wrong” as long as poverty persisted: “There is something profoundly wrong when, in recent years, we have seen a proliferation of millionaires and billionaires at the same time as millions of Americans work longer hours for lower...

So much has been happening recently in the world that North Korea has all but disappeared from the front pages. The elimination of Qasem Soleimani in Baghdad, the impeachment inquiry farce, the Iowa circus, the COVID-19 threat of a pandemic, have monopolized public attention for weeks. However, North Korea is not going away and President Trump has certainly not forgotten the issue, especially since China, of late, has never been weaker. Hong Kong’s yearlong demonstrations, triggered by an ill-conceived extradition bill, hit China’s “one country, two systems” principle at its heart and the result was immediately reflected by the elections...

A savvy political observer knows perfectly well how the Democratic Party and all of its "very best" candidates got closer to socialism. Strict gun control, economic regulations, open borders, "free" college education and housing, and Medicare for all (including illegal aliens), to name a few, represent a set of classic socialist ideas that has sadly become commonplace for the Democrats. Sure, there are lone voices raising concerns, one of which belongs to the Democratic strategist James Carville, who made news recently when he said, "We're losing our damn minds!" Then there is MSNBC's Chris Matthews, who rips Bernie Sanders as...

The phrase "right-wing extremist" has become part of the national lexicon, yet for some strange reason, we never hear "left-wing extremist" to describe the liberal crazies in Antifa and BAMN, just two examples of what liberal extremism looks like — bloody. Why is that? Why do the media pretend the lunatics on the left don't exist? Remember back in 1998, when Hillary Clinton went on the Today show and defended Bill to Matt Lauer against accusations of infidelity and impropriety as the result of the efforts of a "vast ring-wing conspiracy" that spawned when Bill first announced his candidacy for...

o say President Trump was welcomed in India is an understatement. While thousands of people lined the streets to greet America’s 45th president, that was just the beginning. Trump and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke in Motera Stadium, the world’s largest cricket stadium, to an electrified crowd. The 110,000-seat arena was completely filled, and many were donning white caps that read “Namaste Trump” with the Indian and American flags on the brim. “The First Lady and I have just traveled 8,000 miles around the globe to deliver a message to every citizen across this nation: America loves India —...

In a free society, speech at times can be annoying, obnoxious, unsettling or offensive. Panhandlers and political protesters can approach you on the street. Controversial ideas can be expressed on tee shirts, bumper stickers or license plates. And governments cannot block speech merely because it is irritating or bothersome — unless you are talking about commercial speech, in which case government bureaucrats have been given more deference to restrict speech. For example, the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission determined that Uber and Lyft drivers could not install tablets that would display advertisements or allow passengers to play games...

A proposal from Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer to increase the federal minimum wage to $22 per hour would body-slam the economy, according to a former CEO of one of America's major corporations. Earlier this month, Steyer proposed increasing the federal minimum wage, which is currently $7.25 per hour, to $22 per hour, according to Fox Business. Other major Democratic presidential candidates have lined up behind a $15 minimum wage, according to The Washington Post.

For the past 11 months, Robert Hoogland, a father in Surrey, British Columbia, has been forced to watch as his 14 year-old daughter was “destroyed and sterilized” by court-ordered testosterone injections. After losing his legal appeal to stop the process in January, Rob (previously anonymized as “Clark” or “CD”) is making a desperate attempt to bring his case into the courts of public opinion, even though it breaks a court order demanding his silence about the case.“I had a perfectly healthy child a year ago, and that perfectly healthy child has been altered and destroyed for absolutely no good...

True to form, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (“CAIR”) -- also known as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the largest terrorist funding case in U.S. history, and a designated “terrorist organization” for nations allied to America -- is again protesting my forthcoming appearance to the U.S. Army War College, urging the latter to “reconsider its decision and disinvite Ibrahim,” since my presentation will no doubt be “hypocritical, ahistorical and hateful.” This, of course, is all déjà vu -- a repeat of events from eight months ago. As CAIR itself notes in it new press release, which came out on Feb. 21,...
