A guest on Todd's MSNBC show this evening was University of New Hampshire Professor Dante Scala. As they discussed the possibility of mediocre turnout, Scala described the Dem contenders as "B-level," and Todd seconded that emotion. DANTE SCALA: I think that the problem is that Democrats here in New Hampshire, when all is said and done, they're saying this looks like a B-level field of candidates.CHUCK TODD: Dante just used the, you actually just used the perfect, B-level, Jason . . . It feels like there’s no star.Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

In a way, Donald Trump might be called The Great Uniter. Bear with me. No Republican president in the lifetime of this writer, not even Ronald Reagan, united the party as did Trump in the week of his acquittal in the Senate and State of the Union address. According to the Gallup Poll, 94% of Republicans approve of his handling of his presidency, in his fourth year, despite the worst press any president has ever received and the sustained hostility of our cultural elites. Only Bush I in the first months of the 1991 Gulf War and Bush II in...

Jordan Peterson has had a hell of a year. From the National Post: Jordan Peterson is recovering from a severe addiction to benzodiazepine tranquilizers and was recently near death in an induced coma, his daughter Mikhaila said. He is being treated at a clinic in Russia after being repeatedly misdiagnosed at several hospitals in North America, she said. The University of Toronto psychologist who became an intellectual hero to a global audience by aligning self-help theory with anti-progressive politics was first prescribed the medication a few years ago to treat anxiety after what Mikhaila described as an autoimmune reaction to...

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez cannot stand it. She wants blacks back on that liberal plantation — now. The Washington Times reported the story this way: AOC rips Rush Limbaugh as ‘virulent racist’: ‘Truly nauseating’ he was awarded Medal of Freedom The Times story said, in part, this: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to President Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night, ripping the president for his “Oprah moment” of awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh, who she described as a “virulent racist.” Ms. Ocasio-Cortez boycotted the president’s speech but responded to it in a...

The Democrats are clinging to the inevitable pious fraud that Donald Trump is a compromised president because he was impeached. The Democrats, after a spurious investigation in which the president had none of the constitutionally guaranteed rights of a defendant or the defenses available by precedent to presidents who are the subjects of such investigations, charged Trump with acts that are not impeachable. Then they failed to adduce any evidence that the president had committed the acts with which they charged him. Naturally, they have moved to the next stage, insisting there is an ineradicable blot on the president’s record...

Today’s CG is from The Arkansas Gazette. NQA PGJFR YNKERY KYORA NG FAN KEZGEA VKYY PQG TEGPY PQAJA QA OY CGOEC. - RKBOR YNKJJ DGJRKE You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications. The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram). Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated. PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any...

The commander of the newly-established U.S. Space Force said Monday that two Russian satellites appear to be shadowing a U.S. spy satellite, often coming within 100 miles of the multibillion-dollar craft. “We view this behavior as unusual and disturbing,” Gen. John “Jay” Raymond said of the activity in an interview with TIME. “It has the potential to create a dangerous situation in space.” Raymond said U.S. analysts first noticed something amiss when the Russian spacecraft appeared to split into two smaller ones shortly after it was launched Nov. 26 mounted on a Soyuz rocket. “The way I picture it, in...

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem (Music in The Bible) Psalm 114 Psalm 114 1 When Israel came out of Egypt, Jacob from a people of foreign tongue, 2 Judah became God’s sanctuary, Israel his dominion. 3 The sea looked and fled, the Jordan turned back; 4 the mountains leaped like rams, the hills like lambs. 5 Why was it, sea, that you fled? Why, Jordan, did you turn back? 6 Why, mountains, did you leap like rams, you hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, 8 who turned the rock into a pool,...

A newly surfaced recording from a 2015 speech by Michael Bloomberg, in which the former three-term mayor of New York City gives a full-throated defense of the controversial policing procedure known as "stop and frisk," is threatening to undermine the 2020 presidential candidate's subsequent apologies for backing the policy and hurt his status with minority voters. President Trump blasted his fellow New Yorker as the audio emerged, saying in a Tuesday morning tweet as the New Hampshire primary was getting underway: '"WOW, BLOOMBERG IS A TOTAL RACIST!" The tweet was later taken down, without explanation.

When Nancy Pelosi ripped up Trump’s State of the Union speech last week, the truth came out:  She hates him.  So do the Democrats. We’re not stupid.  After an inspiring speech filled with the human touch, Pelosi dumped cold water on a gush of desperately needed warm feelings. Beneath the tears and cheers that engulfed the House Chamber, a muttering Pelosi was busy plotting to suck the air from the room.  Fidgeting all night from her Speaker’s perch, she was the evening’s “Cruella de Vil.â€Pelosi’s premeditated rip was a clarion call for Democrats to keep preying, post-acquittal.  After suffering...

Democrat presidential hopeful and billionaire Tom Steyer has requested a polling window extension in a letter to Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Tom Perez ahead of the next Democrat presidential debate. When my campaign received the debate criteria for the next DNC debate in Nevada on January 31st, I was extremely disappointed to see that the Committee has narrowed the polling window significantly. The previous two polling windows have been 56-58 days and this recent period window has been cut to 35 days.

A package of tiny dead birds hidden in a passenger's bag has been confiscated by Customs agents at a Virginia airport. U.S. Customs and Border Protection intercepted the package at Dulles International Airport after the passenger landed on a flight from China on January 27. The passenger told agents that package of dead birds was just cat food. The plastic packaging had pictures of a cat and dog on the outside - similar to what pet treats look like. Inside the bag were a number of dead dried birds, which were about 2.5 inches to 3.5 inches long.

MERRIMACK, New Hampshire — Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg won the most votes in the tiny community of Dixville Notch, New Hampshire — traditionally the first place to vote after midnight in the New Hampshire primary. Bloomberg won two write-in votes in the Democratic Party primary, defeating Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who had one vote; and former South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who also had one vote.

PARIS — Gabriel Matzneff, the French writer under investigation for his promotion of pedophilia, was holed up this month inside a luxury hotel room on the Italian Riviera, unable to relax, unable to sleep, unable to write. He was alone and in hiding, abandoned by the same powerful people in publishing, journalism, politics and business who had protected him weeks earlier. He went outside only for solitary walks behind dark sunglasses, and was startled when I tracked him down in a cafe mentioned in his books. “I feel like the living dead, a dead man walking, walking on the lungomare,”...

An American cruise ship riddled with vomiting passengers has been denied entry to its Caribbean destination and is steaming back to the United States. More than 300 on-board have come down with gastroenteritis, an uncomfortable stomach bug which causes vomiting and diarrhea. Spooked by the outbreak which has quickly spread, Trinidad and Tobago's health ministry turned around the Caribbean Princess liner, which is making the 1,600-mile journey back to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The two-week trip carrying 3,000 holidaymakers and 1,100 crew departed American shores on February 2 before heading south to the popular tourist island.

During a Monday morning phone conversation, the Virginia State Police public relations department did not rule out knocking doors to enforce a suppressor ban. Breitbart News called the Virginia State Police and noted Democrats are passing legislation to ban various firearm accessories. We specifically mentioned the suppressor ban which is currently moving through the state legislature and asked if, “Virginia State Police will go door-to-door to get those.” The public relations official did not respond with a direct answer “yes” or “no” on going door-to-door. Rather, she said, “[No laws] have gone into effect, no laws have been formalized or...

Editor's Note: This piece was written by Matthew Larosiere. The federal government knows it can’t prevent you from posting gun designs online. It’s known this since at least 2018, when the Department of State offered to settle a case with Defense Distributed (DefDist), which it had previously ordered not to share gun files on the internet. This back-and-forth has made headlines periodically for years. The feds know the First Amendment protects all manner of designs, including 3D-printable files. For once, the federal government wants to stop an abuse of our rights. So why haven’t they? The answer lies with a...
