Harry Harrison, one of the legendary "Good Guys" of New York AM rock and roll radio, then later a member of talk radio's so-called "All Americans," has died. His death was announced on WCBS/101.1 FM, where Harrison ended his career, with a posting on its website which read: "Today we say so long to former American radio personality WCBS-FM and 'Jack' FM DJ Harry Harrison. FeetHe has passed away at 89 years old after battling health issues." Over a 40-year span in New York, Harrison was once as familiar as the first cup of coffee or the drive to work. His "Good Guy" moniker...

Michael Bloomberg campaign senior adviser Tim O’Brien argued Sunday on MSNBC that the only things in President Donald Trump’s head were a “putter, a cheeseburger, a porn video and somebody else’s credit card.” During a Super Bowl interview with Sean Hannity, Trump said of Bloomberg, “Why should he get a box to stand on, OK? He wants a box for the debates. Why should he be entitled to that? Really! Does that mean everyone else gets a box?” O’Brien said, “Mike Bloomberg would eat Donald Trump alive on a debate stage … Who knew that Donald Trump was such a...

A stunning decision to scrap the final bellwether poll of Iowa Democratic voters ahead of Monday’s first-in-the-nation caucuses represented something of a fitting end to a roller coaster political season, leaving party activists and pundits guessing. The Des Moines Register, CNN and pollster Ann Selzer decided not to release the poll’s results after a technical error apparently left one of the lead contenders, former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, off of at least one survey. Selzer and the media partners concluded they could not stand completely behind the survey after the error was discovered. Selzer’s Iowa Poll has been...

John Harwood, formerly of CNBC, kicked off his new start at CNN on a very humiliating downslope so severe that he had to delete his own embarrassing tweet due to the mocking blowback he received. How bad was it? So bad that Harwood reached back almost 160 years in history to compare the senators voting against more witnesses during the Trump impeachment trial to the old Confederacy. Although Harwood might think his February 1 tweet might have disappeared down the memory hole, nothing on the web is ever permanently gone and his absurd words will live on for all eternity:

KEYSER - The Mineral County Commission has declared the county a Second Amendment Sanctuary. During the commission’s Tuesday meeting, all three of the elected officials agreed to adopt the resolution dealing with the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. In part, that section of the constitution states, “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” In addition, the West Virginia Constitution Article 21, has wording along the same lines that says, “A person has the right to keep and bear arms for the defense of self, family, home, and state and for lawful...

Former Secretary of State John Kerry — one of Joe Biden's highest-profile endorsers — was overheard Sunday on the phone at a Des Moines hotel explaining what he would have to do to enter the presidential race amid "the possibility of Bernie Sanders taking down the Democratic Party — down whole." Sitting in the lobby restaurant of the Renaissance Savery hotel, Kerry was overheard by an NBC News analyst saying "maybe I'm f---ing deluding myself here" and explaining that in order to run, he'd have to step down from the board of Bank of America and give up his ability...

Paul Ryan is moving his family to the city he was always giddy to leave. The former speaker of the House and onetime GOP vice presidential nominee is leaving his longtime home of Janesville, Wis., and will rent a house in the Maryland suburbs of Washington. "Now in the private sector, Paul and his family are temporarily renting a house in Maryland, and he’ll be spending time there as well as their family home in Janesville," a Ryan aide told POLITICO.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity during the Super Bowl LIV pregame show, President Trump confirmed that the State of the Union address would go ahead as scheduled on Tuesday -- just a day before the Senate is set to overwhemingly acquit him after a months-long impeachment process. "I think she's a very confused, very nervous woman," Trump said, referring to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, who reluctantly announced impeachment proceedings last year after months of resisting the progressive wing of her party. "I don't think she wanted to do this," Trump continued. "I think she really...

Yesterday, I wrote about Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) booing Hillary Clinton at a campaign event for socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Bernie Sanders’ campaign manager has now come out in support of Tlaib.

MIAMI — Descending from the air, Lady Gaga kicked off a pre-Super Bowl concert by mimicking her entrance to her Super Bowl halftime performance three years ago, which earned her raved reviews. Headlining the big sports stage was a recurring theme of her Miami concert Saturday night, and the pop star sent a message to Sunday's featured performers: “I better hear no lip-syncing tomorrow!”..... So, thank you,” said Gaga, who also wowed audiences at the 2016 Super Bowl when she sang the national anthem.

Harvard epidemiologist and health economist, has warned that the Chinese coronavirus spreading fast throughout the world could turn out to be a major pandemic. The academic quoted a study showing that the basic reproduction number of the infection (R0) is 3.8. By contrast, the seasonal flu attack in most years only has an R0 of 1.28. The 2009 flu pandemic had an R0 of 1.48 while the catastrophic 1918 Spanish flu that infected 500 million people worldwide had an R0 value of 1.80. The viral infection “A 99% quarantine lockdown containment of Wuhan will not even reduce the epidemic’s spread...

Bernie Sanders supporters are quick to make clear that their guy doesn’t want to turn America into Cuba or Venezuela or the old Soviet Union. By “democratic socialism,” the US senator from Vermont means Scandinavia, more or less. And what’s wrong with that? The Nordic nations are pretty nice. Even President Trump has conceded that Norway produces a quality immigrant. I could do on and on, mentioning how the Nordics score highly in the conservative Heritage Foundation’s Economic Freedom Index, especially when it comes to government regulation. They’re also free traders, unlike Sanders, who opposed the North American Free Trade...

Agree or disagree with Bernie Sanders, at least he’s consistent—or so he claims. “Having a long record,” the Vermont senator said in October, “gives people the understanding that these ideas that I’m talking about—they are in my guts. They are in my heart. This is who I am as a human being, and it ain’t gonna change.” That’s true up to a point. During half a century in public life, Mr. Sanders has dependably denounced “oligarchy” and proclaimed himself a “democratic socialist.” But his definition of the term has radically changed. Last year he said his goal was “an economy...

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said Sunday that he and other Republicans will begin calling witnesses within weeks for hearings related to Hunter Biden’s work in Ukraine, as well as the FBI’s surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. . . . Graham said he also wants to hear from Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz, who was a business partner of Hunter Biden. State Department emails show that Heinz contacted officials at Foggy Bottom on May 13, 2014 to raise red flags about Hunter Biden’s relationship with Burisma, which has been investigated for corruption.

Speaking on “Fox & Friends Weekend” live from Miami ahead of his interview with President Trump during the Super Bowl LIV pregame show, Fox News’ Sean Hannity previewed the nearly nine-minute interview with Trump saying, “I will just say it is entertaining.” “Let’s just say there is a little surprise in there. I tried to get as much in eight and a half minutes out as I possibly can,” he added. [cut] Much of the interview will air at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET on Super Sunday, with additional footage to be presented on Monday’s edition of “Hannity.”
