by Lauren Hass In September 2017, Hurricane Maria slammed Puerto Rico, leaving many dead and millions desperately needing emergency supplies. The Trump Administration rapidly put the U.S. military and FEMA into action, delivering tens of millions of dollars in supplies to San Juan to be distributed. But corrupt San Juan mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz attacked Trump, falsely claiming he didn't do enough, and was "leaving us to starve and die" because of "racism." CNN championed Cruz' lies, putting her on air over 100 times in just weeks to slam Trump, even making her T-shirts to spread the propaganda: This...

In April 1979, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini took over Iran; months later 52 American diplomats and citizens, as well as citizens of other nations, were kidnapped and held hostage for 444 days in the US Embassy in Tehran. How far has America fallen in just 41 short years? We have fallen so far that the most popular Democratic candidate for president in 2020 is a hardcore Socialist Communist who sided with Iran and against America during the 1979 Iranian Hostage Crisis. That same man in 2020 displays an open hatred for Israel and is still siding with Iranagainst America. Of course,...

In 2005, George W. Bush appointed John Roberts to SCOTUS and also designated him as the Chief Justice, replacing the recently deceased William Rehnquist in both roles. Question: either now, or when Trump replaces the next departed justice -- can Trump change who is the Chief Justice? Because the Constitution doesn't say anything about how a person is designated to be the chief, I'm wondering if Trump could say, at any time (this is an example): "I'm nominating Amy Barrett to replace Darth Bader Ginsburg, John Roberts will become an Associate Justice, and I appoint Clarence Thomas as Chief Justice."...

The testimony comes from Jon Myers, who tweeted, "I was the officer in charge of the Marine response after the Benghazi attack of 2012, in which the American consulate was destroyed and the ambassador murdered. Our mission was to reinforce the embassy. "I was in charge of a program that had a company of Marines...

Episode IX, The Rise of Skywalker, is the last film in the Skywalker saga and for that we can all be thankful. The galactic Hatfield vs. McCoy force-feud is done. If I sound exhausted with it all, it’s because I am. I’m an OG Star Wars fan and saw the original A New Hope when I was six, and Han shot first. What was enthralling is now just mostly tiring. With The Rise of Skywalker we may see the death of Star Wars. Unless we rebel. The original trilogy holds up well. The storytelling is tight, the characters are engaging,...

A new caravan formed in Honduras with about 2,500 migrants traveling toward the U.S.- Mexico border. Saturday the Mexican National Guard stepped up and honored the “safe third country” agreement. The migrants were denied entry into Mexico at the Guatemala-Mexico border. Last November the Trump administration entered into a series of regional agreements with countries including Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. The goal is to reduce the burden of Central American migrant caravans arriving at the U.S. border. Migrants are being returned to Guatemala, sent back to their home country, or allowed to enter the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP)...

Most of us humans hold a very special spot in our hearts for all things fluffy and cute. Especially if that little something is man’s best friend. After all, how could anyone resist those derpy fluffs waddling around wagging their tails in excitement, chasing around any object they can possibly find around the house or smashing into the glass door after seeing a bird outside. Not sure where this last one came from but you catch the drift. Sadly, not all doggos are loved unconditionally and some struggle to find their forever home despite having a great personality. Jubilee is...

Defense Secretary Mark Esper's plan to draw down U.S. forces in Africa is facing increased pushback on Capitol Hill. The top Democrat and Republican on the House Armed Services Committee have joined numerous lawmakers calling on Esper to stop a planned reduction of the 6,000 to 7,000 troops fighting militant terrorist groups on the continent and instead keep the forces in an effort to better counter Russian and Chinese aggression. “A decrease in our investment now may result in the need for the United States to reinvest at many more times the cost down the road,” Armed Services Committee Chairman...

After the Bishop of Grantham’s sexuality was the subject of media reports, he received about 500 letters and emails. Caroline Starkey and Grace Davie analysed themIN SEPTEMBER 2016, a Sunday newspaper threatened to “out” the Bishop of Grantham, Dr Nicholas Chamberlain, as gay (although his sexuality was no secret within the Church). In a brave move, the bishop decided to give an exclusive interview to The Guardian, and became the first Church of England bishop to declare publicly that he was gay and in a same-sex relationship (News, 9 September). In response to the media coverage, some 500 letters and...

The billionaire’s boondoggle campaign goes everywhere and nowhere. It’s Wednesday and Michael Bloomberg is on a farm in Minnesota. Nobody, including him, knows why. Minnesota in the winter is a long way from Bloomberg’s Bermuda estate where he spent much of his time as mayor of New York City, and, if he were to win in 2020, would spend his presidential term. While fighting a war on coal, the billionaire environmentalist crusader liked to jet over on Fridays to his waterfront estate in Bermuda to escape the New York City winters and then jet back again on Sundays. “We should...
