  • Jury Finds BC Interfered; in 2012 Hearing, Awards Alumnus Damages

A federal jury ruled in favor of the Boston College alumnus who had sued the University for improper interference in violation of fair process in his 2012 disciplinary hearing on Monday. The jury awarded the alumnus—referred to by the pseudonym “John Doe”—$102,426.50 in damages: $24,819.50 for tuition and fees for the semester he was suspended and $77,607 for one year of lost income as a result of his delayed graduation from BC. Doe brought the lawsuit after an Administrative Hearing Board found him responsible for sexually assaulting a fellow student on the annual AHANA Leadership Council Boat Cruise. Throughout the...
  • First Amendment repealed? Trump can’t say ‘Biden’ on a phone call?

Help me out here. There’s no report Trump threatened to withhold any funds from Ukraine unless they did his bidding - unlike Biden’s (alleged or admitted?) threats. So the “charges” boil down to Trump talking about Biden on a phone call. Have his free speech rights been repealed? What other words or names or topics is the president forbidden to utter, according to Schumer , Schiff (and Romney?)? Also, what’s going on with the “intelligence community” acting like spies on Trump - or like the gossipy party-line operator (Sarah?) in the Andy Griffith Show?

I have to warn you: This is gross.By that I mean, it's disgusting what the climate panic brigade is doing to this clearly disturbed young lady.Speaking at the U.N. climate change conference earlier today, the 16-year-old Greta Thunberg lectured those present on their failure to act or whatever. Here's the video: CLICK ABOVE LINK FOR THE VIDEO And here's a partial transcript: My message is: We'll be watching you [pause for laughs and applause]. This is all wrong. I shouldn't be up here. I should be back in school, on the other side of the ocean. Yet you all come...

Let the Amazon Learn From China, Where the Church Flourished With Very Few Missionaries. Celibate The mantra with which the proponents of married priests justify their demand is the irreversible shortage of celibate priests in regions with small communities scattered over remote places, like the Amazon or the islands of the Pacific. It must be guaranteed - they say - that the celebration of the Mass is offered to all on a regular basis, and not just a few times a year.Curiously, the same ones who display such generosity in wanting to bestow the Eucharist are also the stingiest in...

Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg delivered a teary eyed speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Monday, demanding world leaders do better to address climate change. As you can hear, her remarks were full of "how dare yous." President Trump, who will deliver his own speech at the UNGA on Tuesday morning, offered what seemed to be a sarcastic message for the young Swedish environmental activist. Donald J. A leftover from this past weekend via Red State. Watching the clip below, it made me laugh to think of blue-collar 70s-era Joe Biden time-traveling to 2019 and trying to digest the sort of woke shibboleths he’d occasionally have to mouth during a presidential primary to remain grudgingly, reluctantly acceptable to progressives.I mean, even 2019 Biden can barely get his scripted lines out here. He all but gives up at the very end. 1975 Biden would be shouting unintelligibly about “malarkey! Malarkey, I tell ya!”The position he ends up taking has good intentions behind it. Transgender women (i.e. men...
  • Democrats Turning the 2016 MAGA Movement into a 2020 Revolution: Get Use to President Trump in 2020

Liberals need to get used to the idea of a President Trump win in 2020. When every Democrat hopeful stood on that debate stage and raised their hands in support of free healthcare for illegals, they might as well have held up a 'Trump 2020' banner. The tables that started to turn with the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement in 2016 have now been knocked over. Ironically, Democrats have become the recipients of their own intolerance for any differing opinions. Fortunately for conservatives, it is futile for more centrist Democrats, if there are any, to try and convince far...

(CNN)When President Donald Trump admitted this weekend that in a July phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky he did, in fact, raise "corruption" accusations against his 2020 political rival Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden -- he effectively turned up the volume on calls for his own impeachment. "We don't want our people like Vice President Biden and his son creating to the corruption already in the Ukraine," Trump told reporters in describing the call. (There is no evidence of wrongdoing by either Joe or Hunter Biden.) And Monday, sources told CNN that White House officials are considering...

During the global "climate strike" for "environmental justice" by students last Friday, the College Fix commissioned a reporter at St. Olaf College in Minnesota to talk to some of the 1,000 students there who participated. Many agree with Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez' dire warning that "the world is going to end in 12 years if we don't address climate change." What are your thoughts on this and what is your plan? "For all we know it could be sooner than that. We're not entirely sure," replied one student. "Um, I don't really know. You never know with science," said another....

No doubt, Trump-haters will call it “punching down” and “unpresidential,” but I call it making Alinsky work for us. Yesterday, during a press conference at the UN, President Trump referred to CNN anchor Chris Cuomo as “Fredo,” a Godfather-referencing nickname that has in the past driven him to threaten violence.Scott Morefield of The Daily Caller picked-up on the jibe: Responding to a reporter’s question about Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani’s performance on the Ukraine issue, the president referred to Rudy’s wild “Cuomo Prime Time” interview last Thursday before slamming CNN as “fake news.” He then turned his attention to the CNN anchor...

A highly qualified and experienced climate modeler with impeccable credentials has rejected the unscientific bases of the doom-mongering over a purported climate crisis. His work has not yet been picked up in this country, but that is about to change, Writing in the Australian site Quadrant, Tony Thomas introduces the English-Speaking world to the truth-telling of Dr. Mototaka Nakamura. (hat tip:  Andrew Bolt, John McMahon) There’s a top-level oceanographer and meteorologist who is  prepared to cry “Nonsense!”on the “global warming crisis” evident to climate modellers but not in the real world. He’s as well or better qualified than the...

Writing in The Hill, John Solomon demonstrates that it is Democrats who first sought to intimidate Ukraine for their own political ends and who continue to do so."I told Zelensky that he should not insert himself or his government into American politics. I cautioned him that complying with demands of the President's campaign representatives to investigate a political rival of the President would gravely damage the U.S.-Ukraine relationship. There are few things that Republicans and Democrats agree on in Washington these days, and support for Ukraine is one of them," Murphy told me today, confirming what he told Ukraine's leader. The...

More than 500 scientists and professionals in climate and related fields have sent a “European Climate Declaration” to the Secretary-General of the United Nations asking for a long-overdue, high-level, open debate on climate change. Just as 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg addressed the U.N. Climate Action Summit in New York accusing world leaders of robbing her of her future, scientists were begging the United Nations to keep hysteria from obscuring facts. “Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific,” the declaration states. “Scientists should openly address the uncertainties and exaggerations in their predictions of...

  • New York Just Tried to Ban 80% Lowers and AR-15 Build Kits

New York state Attorney General Latitia James just told 16 different websites and gun makers to stop selling receiver blanks and gun-making kits to residents of New York. Assault weapons are illegal in New York, and the sale and/or advertisement of these products violates New York law. I hereby demand that...
