Vice President Mike Pence has invited Sen. Jeff Flake and other pro-amnesty Senators to meet with President Donald Trump next week as business-first advocates scramble to shift the president’s pro-American immigration priorities. The invite was leaked to Politico..... (snip) The invite to amnesty-advocate Flake came just as his group of pro-amnesty establishment Senators split over Democrats’ refusal to accept any of President Trump’s popular immigration reform measures. Those measures include easier deportation rules, a border wall and an end to chain-migration and the visa-lottery. (snip) The news that Pence invited Flake and the other leaders came after Tillis’ prediction of...

Conservatives and Republicans gave President Trump kudos for his remarkable list of accomplishments in his first year in office. One crucial Trump accomplishment appears to have gone unnoticed. Trump repeatedly spoke the truth about issues when fake news media demanded that we either embrace their lies or stay silent. Singlehandedly, Trump has opened the door for Americans to freely speak truth again. Before Trump entered the political arena, fake news media controlled public speech with an iron fist. Citizens and politicians knew they had better toe the politically correct line or suffer severe consequences. When fake news media demanded that...

Shocking footage shows the moment a man suffered a fatal injury when he was gored by a charging bull. Jorge Barrios died after taking part in Colombia’s ‘corralejas’ bullfighting event, which has attracted criticism from animal rights campaigners. Quit your job because the Mega Millions jackpot is now $450m During the festival, a large number of contestants bait the animal with red capes before dodging out of the way at the last second. But Barrios, thought to be a construction worker, was not able to move out of the way in time in the arena in Sincelejo. In the video,...

The territory became a key focus of a 1962 war fought between the Asian giants, and remains a hotly contested region. At the end of December, Chinese...

WASHINGTON — Two Republican senators have made the first known criminal referral in congressional investigations of Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. They’re targeting the author of a dossier of allegations about President Donald Trump’s ties to Russia. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham say they’ve referred former British spy Christopher Steele

MANDURAH man Boris Pascoe was far from home, drunk and trying to negotiate plane travel and a stopover in a Middle Eastern airport — not usually a recipe for a happy ending. But, lucky for him, he stumbled, quite literally, into the path of ‘wonder woman’ and fellow Aussie Grace Cheatley in November. The hilarious shenanigans that ensued has won the internet in a video that’s gone viral, viewed 7.5 million times on LADbible’s Facebook page, and thrust the pair into the media spotlight. Ms Cheatley started filming Mr Pascoe’s antics when he tried to retrieve his luggage from the...

The Muslim population in the US is growing at a rate of around 100,000 per year By the year 2040, Muslims will replace Jews as the second-largest religious group in the US after Christians, according to projections by a leading American think tank. Pew Research Center estimates there were some 3.45 million Muslims living in the US in 2017, accounting for around 1.1 percent of the country’s total population.

For those who haven't read it, the novel by Caleb Carr is on my top ten list for great period drama combined with crime thriller. I could almost smell the streets of 1890's New York and it was scary as H#%%. The book was so good, I am a little worried if the TV series will live up to expectations. I believe it is starting on the 22nd on TNT.

I'm getting into this debate more and more with people and getting nowhere. They're saying the parties somehow "flipped" and say the Republicans were previously the racist democrat party of KKK, Slavery and Jim Crow. I contest that the Republican principals were the same under Lincoln as they are today. Also, voters from the South let go of their ties to the racist Democrats and starting voting for Republicans. I'm looking for facts starting from Teddy Roosevelt, to WW, Coolidge, FDR and through the late 1960's...A lot of you on here are historians and I value your input. I believe...

Two South Carolina lawmakers want to erect a monument on the State House grounds to African-Americans who served the state as Confederate soldiers. But records show the state never accepted nor recognized armed African-American soldiers during the Civil War. “In all my years of research, I can say I have seen no documentation of black South Carolina soldiers fighting for the Confederacy,” said Walter Edgar, who for 32 years was director of the University of South Carolina’s Institute for Southern Studies and is author of “South Carolina: A History.” “In fact, when secession came, the state turned down free (blacks)...

AMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A Florida woman is responding after a man accused her of owning a bobcat that attacked him inside a condo at a downtown Tampa high-rise. Marcos Hernandez, who is represented by the Morgan & Morgan law firm, filed the lawsuit last month in Hillsborough County against SkyPoint Condominium Association, Inc. and Christine Lee. Lee tells News Channel 8 that his claims aren’t true. She says the alleged bobcat is actually a domestic long-hair tortoiseshell cat named “Calli.”

Edward Fish For Senate I have recently decided to run for one of New Mexico’s seats in the US Congress. Why should I be interested in supporting you? My platform is very simple, consisting of only two or three* points: Constitutionalism: The Constitution for the United States should be treated as the supreme law of the land. Justice: Having a Just government is imperative not only to the peace and stability of the country, but to the legitimacy of the government itself. Anti-Corruption: It seems to me that a great many of our laws are optimized to foster and facilitate...

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – Raising Kentucky’s cigarette tax by $1 a pack has strong support from voters across the state, according to a poll released Thursday and funded by anti-smoking interests. In all, 69 percent of those surveyed in December said they favor higher per-pack taxes in an effort to reduce smoking and spend the extra revenue on state budget needs. A majority of residents in all parts of Kentucky back a tax increase, which advocates estimate will generate more than $266 million per year. The support ranges from 61 percent of residents in western Kentucky to 77 percent in...

The video at the link is 13:12 minutes in length and is a read-through of a letter dated 1/4/2018 which David Nunes sent to Rod Rosenstein regarding the FBI's and DOJ's compliance with subpoenas issued August 2017. The letter serves to "memorialize" an agreement they reached and indicates the DOJ and FBI has agreed to comply quickly and completely with all prior requests for info. There is some mention of Q Anon but the focus is on interpreting the letter (reading between the lines).

I see a Defamation lawsuit in Mr. Wolff's future....soon! The author of the explosive new book about Donald Trump's presidency acknowledged in an author's note that he wasn't certain all of its content was true. Michael Wolff, the author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," included a note at the start that casts significant doubt on the reliability of the specifics contained in the rest of its pages. Several of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradicted those of others.

Police in Hartford, Conn., charged a woman Thursday with animal cruelty in connection with a grim scene reported by a neighbor on New Year’s Day: a dog chained to a small shelter outside a home — and frozen solid. The incident was one of several similar deaths reported in recent days as bitter cold grips the eastern United States, prompting animal rescue organizations and local authorities to issue warnings about giving pets shelter. Several of the deaths occurred in Ohio. In Toledo, a dog was found frozen to death on a front porch last week. Three other frozen dogs were...
