Report: VP Pence Invites Sen. Flake To Lobby Trump For Amnesty
Breitbart - Big Government ^ | 1-5-2018 | Neil Munro

Posted on 01/05/2018 1:05:24 PM PST by Sir Napsalot

Vice President Mike Pence has invited Sen. Jeff Flake and other pro-amnesty Senators to meet with President Donald Trump next week as business-first advocates scramble to shift the president’s pro-American immigration priorities.

The invite was leaked to Politico.....

(snip)

The invite to amnesty-advocate Flake came just as his group of pro-amnesty establishment Senators split over Democrats’ refusal to accept any of President Trump’s popular immigration reform measures. Those measures include easier deportation rules, a border wall and an end to chain-migration and the visa-lottery.

(snip) The news that Pence invited Flake and the other leaders came after Tillis’ prediction of a meeting next week.

The Thursday afternoon exit of Tillis and Lankford cripples the establishment group, which also includes GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham and Cory Gardner, and Democratic Sens. Richard Durbin and Michael Bennett.

The group split after Trump used a White House meeting on Thursday morning to show that he would not be pushed away from his election-winning immigration agenda, despite pleading by Graham, Tillis, and Lankford.

One meeting already happened yesterday, Tillis and Lankford "quit" and Trump stood firm.

Now it seemed more meetings and wheedling are set in place to get what CoC bought them for and to wear down Trump resolve. From Pence with outgoing nobody Flake, no less.

WHY???

Pence was part of the leadership cabal in the House with Boehner and Ryan. He is a Bush Republican who supports the GHW Bush plan for North Mexico (aka USA).

Most of the GOP Senators are in favor of amnesty.

“WHY??? “

So Trump can seem reasonable and the opposition, especially, the Democrats can be seen as obstructionists. The idea is to keep this issue alive so the Democrats have to answer to it at the 2018 elections. Imagine them running on, “we want to bring in millions of workers from foreign countries to take your jobs.” I am sure blacks, whose unemployment is at a historic low, would love it if millions of Mexicans come in and flood the labor market. Trump has to keep this issue alive and well. It’s a big winner for Republicans.

There are elections on the horizon, both near and far.

If Trump serves two terms, every Senator will have been elected under his watch.

Or, unelected as the case may be.

‘to wear down Trump resolve.’

Oh sure. Trump hater has-been Flake is just the one who can do this. Trump has a long history of caving to people who hate him, and who he has insulted on Twitter, and who had to drop out of the Senate bc they were too unpopular to win reelection.

The worryworts are in overdrive today.

“Most of the GOP Senators are in favor of amnesty.”

Most GOP Senators are in favor of whatever the CoC tells them to favor.

I’ve not known that much about Pence.

This does not look good. It’s something that triggers a whole bunch of other concerns, because we see what folks who support amnesty also support. Does he support it? It’s of concern to be sure.

Go TRUMP!

They all should negotiate in good faith to determine the best way to help these illegal aliens and their families self-deport over the coming months as their waivers expire. Range from 24 hours to as many as 90 days, no charges for immigration-related crimes so long as they admit to them and agree to deport instead of going to court and jail.

business-first advocates

More like treason-first. THEY get slave labor and higher profits. WE get to pay the welfare, education and incarceration bills for their slaves and the family members they import. Plus WE get to lose jobs to them and become victims of their ID theft, DUIs, child rapes and murders.

“I’ve not known that much about Pence.

Pence has always made me feel uneasy. His body language tells me he’s full of it, and often does not express what he truly believes. The “tell” is watching his head shake “no” when he’s asserting something.

I think he’s a snake in the grass. Time will tell...
