Please Pray for Angela, in ER since Sat with uncontrollable body jerks and Spasms every 5-10 seconds [Update #65]

Note from my friend about his Nephew's Wife Angela, she is in her early 50's:

Just wanted to let you know that I took Angela to the ER Sat night with body jerks/spasms every 5-10 seconds. The ER doc was puzzled and she was admitted to the hospital. They did tons of blood work and an MRI on her brain. They still have no idea what is causing this but the Neurologist has referred her to Vanderbilt neurology and their movement disorder clinic. The test ruled out MS, Parkinson's, brain tumor etc. The spasms are still happening just as often. She is very discouraged and mentally and emotionally drained.

He says that she has been able to sleep but some of the larger spasms do wake her up briefly.

Please Pray for Angela her husband Tim their her family.

perhaps dystonia....it can affect different body areas....my dtr has it....started with spasms that actually almost threw her to the floor...predominantly in her neck area....cervical dystonia....

treated with anti spasmodics and botox injections or "jabs" every three months....

I am sorry to hear of her suffering, and yes, I will pray for her. I don’t know if epilepsy has a ‘sudden onset’ form, but the doctors have probably ruled that out already.

My Untrained Opinion is;
Best they can do might be to find out if this disturbance is coming from some area of the brain or of the spine.
There may be some small growth in either area getting larger, and now disrupting normal activity, normal nerve communication.
